Is it possible to create a flash file hosted on [URL] and embedded on [URL] that redirects to [URL]? If yes than how? And is it possible to create a flash file that starts a download automatic without user action? Im using Adobe flash professional CS5 and Actionscript 3.
I'm trying to download Flash CS5 through Download Accelerator Plus (DAP). I've already logged into Adobe website but my DAP keeps on asking username and password authentication for trials2.adobe.com. It does not accept my Adobe username and password. What then is the username and password for trials2.adobe.com supposed to be?
I have a flash image slider with a button below each image. When i press that button, the user is redirected to a new page where i add that image product to my cart.
The problem is that after doing the adding, i want to redirect the user back to the initial page.
Basically I am trying to forward a download to another URL but at the same time I need to be able to set headers like "filename".
The readfile($file) function will not do it for me, because the the $file is not stored on the same server as the PHP script (not even the same datacenter) Is this even possible ? If not via PHP, maybe FLASH could do this ?
I was going to download the trial version of Flash Professional CS5.5 but when I got to the download page it wasn't downloading. The "Download now" button was there, but it was unclickable, when I clicked on it it didn't work, plus it was a little dimmer than I remember it was when I downloaded another trial. I'm also using the latest version of Google Chrome and I tried downloading it on IE and Firefox. So, is there any solution to this?
I understand that PlUpload supports several runtimes (html5, html4, gears, flash, etc). But most browsers now a days support flash. And most other file uploaders (namely: uploadify, fancy upload, to name afew) would function via a combination of javascript and flash. And the same file uploaders only support ONE runtime, which is flash. Even if the flash player plugin is not installed. A developer can easily integrate flash detection tools and redirect users to a download link. Which is most common for several sites.
I was quite excited about the new feature of the open FLA format and tried to save some existing FLA files as XFL using the CS5 Trial. I don't know whether the the feature is still in development, but it isn't working as expected at all which is some kind of disappointing.
It seems that the Flash IDE isn't capable of exporting existing bitmap assets properly and saving them to the appropriate path in the library folder in the file system. After trying to access the bitmap multiple times within the IDE and hitting the "Save as..." command multiple times and overwriting the current XFL, some bitmaps are magically partly there. Some others are not. Some of them have 0kb filesize and seem to be corrupted.
I downloded and installed Trial version of Adobe Flash CS5 but when I try to launch it, it just does not launch. I don't get any error messages or any pop up.
Adobe Flash Pro to create my own Flash animation for an online class assignment.I downloaded the trial fine but I have no idea how to open it and get into the program. There's no icon for it and it's nothing in the Start Menu.I'm running Windows XP by the way. There's a folder that says adobe Flash Pro CS5, but I don't know how to open the program itself to get into the work area.I also extracted the zip files but nothing changed.Just s folder named "Flash Pro CS5" which contains "Adobe Flash Professonal" and "Goodies" folders with a Readme.pdf.
I'm working at a company which has high security environment.Akamai Download Manager starts to download a trial Flash CS5. However, it stops quickly and downloads nothing (zero byte).I want to download a trial Flash CS5 without Akamai Download Manager!
I generate a HTML page with VB.Net which stores several pinks to files. These links are formatted with JavaScript looking like the Windows-Explorer with folders and files. The problem: There are only download links for the files, not for Folders. A folder can contain Subfolders ,a List of Files or a combination of both. So if I want to download a folder, I have to click manually on every file-link. I have not the possibility to insert PHP or another Server-side language. my question now is: Is there a client side way to Download them by click on a Folder? I prefer Javascript but If it isn't possible Flash will be ok also.
I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Flash CS4 last night and I'm having problems with starting the setup.exe. I looked at the Setup Log File and got this problem.[code].....
We are looking to use flash to create iOS apps, so we have downloaded the latest version of flash, but when testing on the iPad we see pixalation, is there a later version of cs5.5 or an update that will fix this issue?
Or is there a setting beside the setting Resolution set to High...
I did read somewhere about AIR3 is going to better renderring for 3D, but will it be for the iPad and also what about 2D rendering, I mean it is vectors aand I thought they did not pixelate.
I searched this forum and used Google to find a answer, there where many to find, but I cannot make it work to redirect my flash intro-site if users doesn't have flash.
For now I use a image to redirect but I would prefer it automatically.

I've had the CS3 web premium suite since 2007, but I've always had problems with Flash, though it's never been a huge problem until now. I don't know for sure, but I suspect there might be a problem with the disk, so I'm trying to see if I can fix the problem by downloading the Flash CS3 trial and activating it with my CS3 suite key. I downloaded the trial and it installed corrected as far as I can tell, but it keeps rejecting my key, saying that it's not valid, even though the CS3 suite is already activated on my computer and, even if it wasn't recognizing that, I still have one activation left. And I did make sure I typed it in correctly.
I made 2 websites. One in flash and one in dreamweaver (CSS) site. I want to design a front page which checks for correct flash player and if user does not has flash palyer or plug in then it will redirect the user to the html site without asking.
I have a flash document which is an animation of my company logo, it is displayed when loading any of my clients web pages but i need to know how to redirect it to the client's home page after the animation is completed.
I have used a meta refresh for the moment as a workaround for this!
I downloaded the trial version so I could work on the final project for class but for some reason when I tried to save it my computer froze up. Is this because the save feature is turned off for the trial version or was it just my computer? If I can't save using the trial version than I wasted memory on my computer and a lot of my time downloading the trial version that isn't going to be very useful to me.
Am trying to see if anyone has any links or resources where I can learn to setup a flash video file where it automatically redirects to another URL such as a sales page at the conclusion of the video. I also would like to find out how to have a link/overlay at the end of the video where a viewer can click to go to another URL such as a sales page.
I am not a prgrammer by profession but do work in Flash and I am willing to try this given the right learning resources. Not sure if both or either of these tasks is done in the flash file or in some type of java script on the html page. I have seen this done by this company [URL] but you have to subscribe to their service using their control panel and they limit the number of players you can create.
I have Flash 8, Flash CS3 and Flash CS4 if needed for this project.
Im new to building site and started using flash cs4. I need to know please what actions i need to redirect my intro to my website within the same browser. Im using flash cs4 i have created my into and now im ready to bring it into my site and have it take me to my index page once the intro is done.
Have flash installed works great except I want it to resolve to different URL when finished. A second option is to see the window go away and the HTML appear underneath.I have already used the transparent and this does not work. For some reason, it makes its own window and pushes the HTML down and after it runs, one must scroll down to read the index page.
