I am working on a Flash training video. I would like at the end of the video for a message to pop up with a dynamic confirmation code. I have the code for the confirmation code, but am having trouble creating something either at the end of the flash video or within the aspx page to trigger this message.

TASK 1: When the video is played a dialog box should appear in the video screen showing two options 1)I want to continue with this chapter 2)Goto the next chapter When the user presses option 2 the next chapter should be played (the video has to be fast forwarded to the next topic's timeline).I should not do this using Chapters/Contents at the side of the video.
TASK 2: Next, when a chapter is completed, a dialog box should appear with options 1) REPLAY this chapter 2) Goto the next Chapter.

Writing RTMP Streaming Server for streaming AVC+AAC video. And it works fine with rtmpdump. But I can't force it to work in flowplayer and other flash video players.The message sequence after handshake is similar to FMS / RED5 / erlyvideo / haxevideo servers: I've tried a lot of variations.
From Chrome debug console I can see, what all negotiating messages passed to the flowplayer. The last one is onMetaData. And after this the working sample (rtmp://flash.tvwmedia.net/LiveVideo//Live300) gets NetStream.Buffer.Full. And streaming from my server don't get it.
I'm starting with AVC Header message, containing sps/pps. After it first AVC picture passed. After - AAC header and AAC sample. And then AVC/AAC samples. This dumped OK by rtmpdump - I have working flv on exit. But flowplayer and others does not work.

I agreed to the conversion and saved the file.When opening this "converted" fla I get an output error message: #1014: class fl.video::UIManager could not be found.The file is 08End.fla from Classroom in a Book Lesson 8.
View 3 RepliesI have this code (below) where a user enters 6 numbers ranging from 1-49 but they cannot enter any other number apart from the ones specified. If they do press the submitButton at this point it should trace the error message 'OUT OF RANGE' into a dynamic text field. My problem is that I don't know why the error message wont display in the dynamic text field in the scene.

I recently got a project in which i have create a whole set of flash animations and then convert them into video to be put on dvd. Now since they are going to be put on dvd's so there is not going to be any user interaction but a continuous playing stream.
I was thinking of putting all the texts into xml files and then calling them in the flash file but if i will have to convert them into video file then will the video file work the same way as the flash file?
I want to make some online courses in video format. I am wondering whether it is possible and what the best work flow and tools are for achieving the following. Once I have a video in Flash format (.flv) I grant users access to it via a login-in. At that point I want the user name to be overlaid to the video. This is to deter fraudulent exchange of the video (only the ones who paid for it should watch it). I am baffled by what I found in the internet. I looked at JavaFX, swfmill, SWFTools, MTASC, Ming library, haXe, FlashDevelop, Flex SDK... It is not clear to me:
- If what I want to achieve is possible (overlay the user name to the video).
- What the right work flow is.
- What the right tool is (the simplest and possibly free).
Is there any way to do dynamic video streaming in flash without using Flash Media Server (FMS) 3.5 as it's a very expensive software but using some open-source software or in any other way.

Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the video to begin playing and I was wondering if there was a way to put a message on the screen while it's loading that say something like "Please Wait While the Video Loads" and then have it disappear once it starts.
Right now the player window doesn't even show up until the video begins to play. The videos are .flv files that I have in a directory on our website and the FLVPlayback just references them.

Recently i have visited so many video enriched flash site like this one [URL] Most of them shows video in full size. I downloaded the video using FF plugin. Video framesize is very small compared to the stage size. When i tried to add video and resize the video acoording to the page size , it slows the browser. I tried to embed the flv inside an swf and loaded the swf using normal loader and plyed it.. but the quallity and performance comapred to these site is very low..

I have searched all afternoon, and I thought millions of people must have this problem, but couldn't find a single useful site.I have made a flash site, that works correctly for people with flash. People without Flash however, don't see anything but my background color. I'm in the process of releasing an online quiz but am coming across many problems once I publish my swf and view in my browser. Some of these problems can take hours to solve without knowing what the cause is.
I am aware of the Flash debug player, but is there a way to have a message pop up within flash player or my browser to give me an idea of what the problem is i.e "Questions.xml could not be found"? I'm having a problem with Flash and InDesign (both CS4), installed as a bundle in one go from Adobe Master Collection discs, When trying to launch InDesign or Flash, I get a message that they are 'not supported on this architecture'.
I'm on a MacPro with 2x3GHz Quad Core and 4GB running 10.5.7.
All the other CS4 Master Collection apps have installed and run fine.
My volume is formated as Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
