I have a problem with a video gallery I integrated into my site...the flash works fine on my local machine and displays videos fine but when uploaded on the server it does not load and everyone gets the message as if we did not have flash installed on the machine[URL]
i managed to make a image gallery with the help of the gotoAndLearn ZendAmf Flash tutorial. When i use the WAMP localhost it works absolutely great, but when i try to use it online it doesn´t work.[code]
I've created a game in Flash and I'm using Matrix3D and Vector3D. It works perfectly locally, but as soon as I put it on a server, the graphics don't render and I only see a thin line where a sphere should be.
I've done all the imports, but nothing seems to get it working!
I am making flash page and i have put it on my test server:[URL]It works in ie and firefox but not safari. But when i try it in safari locally on my computer it works.
i have some problem which i dont think of a reason why it happening. I have some Flash (swf) that send variables to aspx/aspx.cs page. the aspx files are on Web Server, when im testing the swf file local (on my computer) the variables are send and store in SQL. When im upload the swf + html file to Webserver (not on the same server when the aspx files) it does not working. i was tryin to upload the swf file to the same webserver where the aspx file and its working! when the swf on one server and the aspx on other server its not working...
So, here is the question. I have a small flash application that sends some variables to a php script (via POST), and that php script sends them to a mySQL database.
This works fine when I'm testing my flash offline, I go to phpmyadmin, and the registry is done. When I upload the swf to a online html, this stops working. It no longer creates another registry in the database. I have no ideia why this happens.
I read a bit about it and found out about cross domain policy, and thought it might be the problem. Thus I made a small .xml file and uploaded it to both servers (the one the swf is on, and the one that has the database), and its still not working.
I have been on a hunt for weeks, on and off, but I can't seem to find a solution, or even a direction to look in. Long story short, I am using CS4, AS3, and I can not get any type of preloader to work when accessing it online. I have made my own, tried every example file I could find, but not one of them or the possible solutions I found for them will work.
The example files I have used all work from my computer, both by accessing the swf in a browser, or testing within Flash itself, but once I upload them they have all hit one problem or another. I have had the preloader not show up at all, and show immediately but not count down, depending on the type of preloader it is. The only amount of narrowing down I have been able to do is that I can make a preloading frame, but as soon as that frame tries to find out the % loaded of the overall movie, it stops working properly. At the moment I am simply using:
Code: Select alladdEventListener('enterFrame', preloader); function preloader (e:Event){ if (framesLoaded == totalFrames){[code]...
I put a movieclip on the frame to show that something is happening, but I have not been able to successfully use code to allow for a loading bar, text %, etc.
Got a movieclip masked by another one with onLoadInit and setMask. Everything works correctly on local but when I use the same swfs hosted on my "server" the mask simply doesn't work, losts its function and shows over the other movieclip as a box.
I have just very recently downloaded a trail version of Adobe Flash CS5 onto my laptop. The version of windows is Windows XP, and the program itself is running as well as it should.
I went to youtube to see if there were any video tutorials that could help me get started with the program. Unfortunately, right before a video will play, the browser will say there was an error, and close, and then re-try to open the page.
This problem has never happned before I installed Flash, so I can only assume it had something to do with it. Everything else on my system is running smoothly, I even checked every file and processor twice for any signs of adware that I may have picked up accidently.
i m developing facebook app in which user can set background wallpaper and from friend selector also add friend's album images to board and than click save to create jpg, my problem is all things are perfectly running on locally, but on the server when i add wallpaper and click save the jpg is created fine, but when i add friend album image to the board and click save button the code not working properly it seems to happen nothing but when i delete image from board and than click save the button is working properly, ovide code if necessary ,[url]....click on create poster button and it goes to flash file
So, I have a simple registration form with a datagrid underneath. When you register, your name shows up in the datagrid. It's a list of people who has registered. This all works just like it should when tested locally. Online though, you can only register, but the datagrid won't load the names. It's empty, even though the database has been updated.
So I have an incredibly simple tool that shows some updates from an XML file...In the swf, there is a button that triggers a refresh for the XML file... it works fine locally, but not online...
I've an swf (loader.swf) hosted inthat justs loads a swf (movie.swf) hostedloader.swf has a preloader. When I execute the movie in flash, it works perfect, but when I upload the swf, the preloader doesn't works. I see 0% and after starts movie.swf normally. Here is the code of loader.swf
Security.allowDomain("www.dominioB.com");Security.allowDomain("www.dominioA.com");var contexto:LoaderContext = new LoaderContext();contexto.applicationDomain = ApplicationDomain.currentDomain;var
I've got an RSS feed coming into my flash site. When I test this locally its all good, everything works fine, I can see the RSS feed and everything. But now when I test online, I can't see any RSS, nothing. Its just blank. Any idea why this might happen?
I'm working on an email form contained in a separate .as file coded in AS3 with a php file. Everything is working just fine when I test it through Flash, having my swf + my .as file locally and my php file online. As soon as I move all my files online, I submit the form, press my send button, see in the bottom screen of my browser than it seems to be a transfer, but nothing happen, no error message as written in my code...i'm just stuck. Here is parts of my codes.
I would like to use my localhost database and some PHP in my Flex projects (using Flash Builder 4). I've searched on the web for some good tutorials, but couldn't find one. The only decent I found was this one, but I ran into a problem when trying to install ZendFrameWork.
Does anyone knows a good place to start learning using PHP into Adobe Flas Builder 4?
Building a website and the navigation menu is flash (.swf file). The mnuLoader.swf file retrieves information from settings.xml file. Everything worked perfectly when I tested in localhost/website/page.html. When I upload to hosting server www.website/index.html the mnuLoader.swf displays but does not load (its like it can't find the settings or picture files and displays the same as when you are waiting for something to load etc).
I have tried changing the xml file path from relative to absolute and no change. All three files index.html - mnuLoader.swf - settings.xml are in the same directory and the mnu_imgs folder contains the img icons for the menu. I don't understand why it would work on localhost but not on the actual server? Also directly underneath on the website I have another flash banner (just looping text pretty much) that works fine both on localhost and actual server so am pretty sure is not an access issue etc.
First off, I'm trying to fix something that I didn't build to begin with and the guy who's project it was assures me it was working fine when he left, although a version I haven't touched since he left seems to have the same issues. I'm also a bit new to programming in general so let me know if I've left out important information in my first post and I will try to add more info.
I have a flash application hosted on-line that acts as a client for a server application written in Delphi. Most of the communication is done using sockets, which work fine. Uploading data files and downloading results files is done using HTTP requests, which work fine as long as the user is making use of an instance of the server on another computer. However, if the user has the server application installed on their own computer and attempts to use it specifying localhost as the url, the socket communication still works, but the HTTP requests don't.
All the socket based communication works fine and, when it is not on the localhost, all the HTTP requests work fine as well, which is why this is so mystifying to me. I've tried changing the flash cross-domain policy file that the server dispatches to be completely permissive, all ports, all domains, all http-request-headers, and still no luck. The Flash app will sit waiting for localhost indefinitely most of the time until I close the server application, and then give this error message:
I have an online flash application that acts as a front end for a server application built in delphi. The server can be installed/used on a remote computer or a personal version can be downloaded and the Flash app pointed at localhost to use it. However, Flash has issues with using the POST and GET functions on the localhost, which makes uploading data files and downloading results files difficult. To get past the difficulty with downloading results files I'm planning to just have the server app serve the results file as an attachment and have the Flash app open the address of the file up in another browser window using external interface. First off, is this likely to cause similar security issues? I.E. Flash will see "localhost" in the external interface call and stop it from working the same as when I try to use POST/GET functions with localhost?
Secondly, for upload this seems just a bit little trickier, I'm planning on doing something similar, having flash use external interface to open a php script for a file upload. Is this feasible and, again, will Flash still have security issues?Lastly, if anyone knows how to get flash to execute POST and GET functions with localhost addresses, I'd love to have that information to avoid all this jumping through hoops.
I am trying to retrieve mysql data using php(products.php) and return the data in xml format to ADobe flash as3; but i am getting following error.[url]...
I have WAMP installed; which works fine as i have many other php projects working here.[code]...
I have a flash app which runs on my browser using Apache with PHP.This app displays items according to xml files which can be created anew or added to.When the user changes these files via php, these changes are not reflected in the app. If I close the app and re-start the changes are there. Is there some way to refresh the localhost in the program?
I am running an swf on my localhost and it loads another swf from an external site. It gives me the following error:Connection to [external site] halted - not permitted from [localhost]localfile.swf.I have included the localhost directory in my Global Security Settings, as well as the local file. swf, so it should be trusted and allow the external link.
I have a flash file which captures an image from a webcam and sends it to the server. This file works fine under ActionScript 2.0 but under 3.0 I get an Unspecified Error and the debugger crashes on the return eval in :
[Code]...
I've tried adding localhost to the list of trusted sites in the flash security manager [URL] I've also tried playing with the allowScriptAccess and allowNetworking settings in the object tag.
I am trying to add to my site a feature that allows users to select a set of images in Flash (AS3) click a button and have my server create a zip file of all the images for them to download.
I have already wrote my code in flash and crated my php script and tested it on my localhost and everything works great. But when I upload the same files to my sever no zip files are created. Below is the code for both my flash and for my php.
Localhost server is using 5.2.17 and so if my Server hosted on 1&1
Flash Code To Send Info to PHP
function MakeZip():void { var variables:URLVariables = new URLVariables(); //variables.Image1=img1;
I'm developing a flash thingy that connects to the youtube api. The website that contains the flashthingy is developed locally on my computer. I don't konw why flash does this, but it doesn't connect to anything on the real web. E.g. the youtube api. As soon as I deploy the project to a real server everything works fine.
Since I have a lot of dev still before me I'd love to test this stuff locally. what I have to do in order to get flash connected to real websites?
I can't figure this out. When I test a URL page with an embedded SWF file (using [URL]) I cannot get the embedded SWF to play more than one or two frames. However, if I upload this same flash-embedded html page, and test it on the WWW, then it seesm to play without a glitch.
I'm trying to debbug my code on Client side (Action Script 3) that works with Flash Media Server 4 on localhost. Everything seems fine up to that point. However, when I'm trying to test my player with other remote streaming servers, I notice bugs because of lower bandwith transmission between the server and the player. Is there a simple way to simulate lower bandwith with FMS4 on localhost (by config, application.xml, programmation...) ?
