HTML :: Any Way To Stop Copying Text From Webpage?
Mar 26, 2012
Is there any way using flash action script to stop copying text from the website. The text will be visible through a swf object and that is locked for selection or copy. it will read the text by HTTP request from a page url in server. Server will send encoded text, which will be decoded by action script. Is it possible to copy any copy protected text from inside a flash object. Because this text are not visible from the page source. Further as the text is encrypted only the action script can decode it. I am not able to make the action script ready to talk to browser and send some http request.
having some real trouble putting two SWF videos into a website for my uni assignment. I can't stop the videos from autostarting, I have set the autostart parameter to false but still no luck.[code]
I want to copy some text to edit in the same style and size etc, however when I do change the wording, it changes the original too. How can I do this so only the copy changes when editing?
I have a text field with a variable name of "name" I have a second text field with a variable name of "name2"I have a buttonWhen the button is pressed, I simply want the text that the user has entered in "name" to appear in the "name2" text field. What action do I need to add to the button?
If i click to any Read More link the text opened in a new window is still available for copying What should i do to to DISABLE text copying in a flash website fully ?
I have a website that has two flash items on it. I have a swf that calls mp3s that plays on the page load, and I have a FLV that plays on page load. What I would like to happen is: on page load the FLV plays when the FLV Finishes the swf starts to play the mp3s. What already happens is that the pages load in _blank pages so they are in new windows. This is good because while you navigate the site, the music from the homepage is still cycling through the swf's mp3 playlist. The problem comes in when you navigate back to the homepage from a new window, and the homepage is still open within the first window. That means that the video plays over, while the music is playing, and the music doubles up. Now the video playing isn't bad, it's that music is doubling up. Can't it sense itself playing a 2nd instance of itself on another webpage and stop it?
I am trying to get a Flash movie I created to stop looping in my browser AFTER loading it into Dreamweaver. Here's what I've tried:
a) Place an AS3 "Stop();" at the end of the action script for the file (in Flash CS4).
b) Publish with "Loop" in HTML tab unchecked.
c) Open the tandem created .html file in my browser (Firefox)......and the movie plays then stops as hoped
d) Open Dreamweaver CS4
e) Import the swf file into a blank HTML page and Save the file.
f) Test the document in my browser. Movie plays, but the movie continues to loop.
as mentioned above, how can I stop the movie from looping after it's embedded in my web page in Dreamweaver? Is this a Dreamweaver 'problem' rather than a Flash one? The DW help file says to use Flash to control the loop....
I am looking for the code or formula to created the video person talking over/in front of an html page created in DW full screen. I know how to shoot/create the FLV Flash movie file with transparent (alpha) background. The problem is trying to get the movie to float frameless over the html file without interference to the web page. Here is an example of what I am trying to do.... [URL] sorry this girl is taken. maybe there is a tutorial on how to do this somewhere. I have been looking for a solution for a few days.
I'm working on a web page which will display information updated periodically via javascript. I want to have it displayed in a Solari Board, complete with the flipping tiles animation. Is there an existing Flash or Javascript implementation I can use? Here's my super-lousy javascript test for one letter. The solution should take a string and figure out how to flip the existing letters to update it. On a real board they all start at once and each stop after the number of flips needed.
I have a mov file that's 157 megabytes. I try running it on my page within a javascript scroller animation and the animation is very choppy and in fact I used css to simulate a mask but the thing doesn't get masked, probably do to the sluggishness of whole page, the page never fully loads, and the movie file makes it nearly impossible to scroll through the page. The file is just too huge. I currently have it embedded as such:
1) Should I convert the mov to swf - that is, is swf a more compatible and appropriate format for seamless integration in html web page?
2) Whichever I choose, how do I reduce the file size - like on youtube where the videos run seamlessly? I plan on using javascript to scroll through a gallery of videos, so I need the videos to not bog down the page.
3) Also, a lot of sites with galleries of videos have an icon that indicates "click to play". Is that part of the video itself or can I just create an image and then when clicked on, the video plays?
I do have Adobe Flash CS4 Professional, if that matters. And if mov file is more suitable, then how can I reduce its file size?
I bought this flying birds MOV file from istockphotos and now I'm stuck trying to implement it into my webpage, I want it to run like a flash file, every few seconds but I can't seem to be able to import it into Adobe Flash, I tried using the code below but it does not allow me to do much and is not transparent:
I need to make a Flash animation fullscreen. After a bit of research it seems I can only feasibly do this via a browser, since the Windows 7 preview does not support fullscreen.
I followed the steps of this website; [URL]
However, I'm having a problem embedding the flash file into a simple HTML document. The file is called "LaBoheme.swf" and is stored in the same directory as my HTML file. Hence, here is my code;
<html> <body> <h1>Test Heading</h1>
[Code]....
The problem is simply that the flash animation does not appear. I get the feeling I'm making a rookie mistake here
want to preload the embedded swf's as you would images using javascript or css. I have so far been unsuccessful. I am trying to avoid having the great big white patches in the site while the menu or stocklist(on the stocklist page) load, and id prefer not to have a loading bar while it does. If possible id like to have all images and swf's loaded and cached before the page is displayed so it appears seemingly instantly. Is this possible?I first attempted to do this with a standard image preloading javascript and failed. Is it at all possible to preload swf's with javascript, if not what are my options?
when you go to the home.html page an animation will play from start and then stop at the end of it. However, for all other pages i.e contact.html aboutus.html we need the animation to skip to the end straight away and not to play the whole animation through. I was thinking this would be controlled by a variable or some kind of external text file ect. Basically in the first frame the actionscript needs to basically say
"if this html page is aboutus.html then go to the last frame and stop" and with the index page it would say "if this html page is index.html then keep playing"
I want toload a html webpage which contains a calendar into my swf file. Thehtml file does not contain tags that flash does not recognise butim unsure on how to get flash to display the webpage, if this ispossible at all. I have attached the code within my html file.Basically all I want to do is load "calendar.html" into my flashmovie and keep its format
I have a flash app, that redirects to another page. I'd love to trap any other window unload event (clicking links / submitting forms) and warn the user they'll lose their progress in the Flash app. However, I can't find any way to tell that the click/change of URL/window unload was triggered by Flash vs being triggered by a normal link etc. Is there any way to detect this, and how reliable is it?
I am trying to use IE8's IWebBrowser2 interface to obtain a webpage's embedded flash's url, height, width information. This flash can be generated by javascript. So I did like this: from IWebBrowser2 I got IHTMLElementCollection, then I iterated through the collection to get IHTMLObjectElement2,and finally called get_data() to get flash's url.
But when I tried to extract flash object's url for [URL], get_data() returned "null". Why is this?So what's the difference between IHTMLObjectElement2 and IHTMLElement2? What's the right way to obtain IHTMLElement2 from IWebBrower2?
I have given up on trying to get the source of a webpage (I don't own this server) in AS3. All it does is throw an sandbox violation error (2048). So far I have come to a conclusion that the only solutions possible are:Make my web server serve the content to the swf.Make a proxy server for the swf with crossdomain.xml.Somehow, both the options are being rejected by my seniors & I am being pushed for a better solution.I don't have any idea if anything else is possible, does anyone here have one??
how to download the html of a webpage inside of flash? This is pretty common in most languages, in C# you can use Webclient, java HTTPURLConnection, PHP has CURL.
When working in flash I can control size of my web like so (and other alignments):some_background.width = stage.stageWidth;some_background.height = stage.stageHeight; And with resize and fullscreen functions web is always going to populate size of a flash window. And lets say I make 1280x1024 web, when I publish it, it is going to be that size in a browser window. But how do I make it fir browser windows completely whatever the size of it?
I know how to make a webpage pop up out of flash that links to a certain site or whatever...
But can you put the HTML inside flash itself, so all the source is contained in the flash, and when you open the webpage, it will be generated as stored in flash?
I have a webpage that has two sections, vertically. First the flash swf, then immediately below a comments section. The swf uses all of the screen space, so visitors do not know there is a comments section on the webpage, unless they scroll the page down.In order to call visitor's attention to the comments section, I inserted in the swf a button that would make the webpage scroll down to the comments section, in the same fashion as the HTML code:[code]
