I have feedback form in a php page. Beside basic redirection tophp page after someone submits feedback this feedback form also stores all the feedbacks in DB. Is it possible somehow to display this feedback.php form in my main.swf file (like embeding it in a flash )as i would like all my site to be in a flash.
Im trying to create a feeback (basically a fancier email form) using flash & PHP. Ive got a simple contact form which Ive always used & it works fine - but Ive never had to add radio buttons? I need this info to be sent to the client through the form,
Name Email Company: a or b (radios buttons I think) Country (they want a drop down list for this) Select: a, b, Select: a, b, c, d Message or comments.
i have a question about a simply mail form using php, i'd like to modify in this way:I wish that when you click on send message also started downloading a file, but checking that the form is filled in correctly and possibly the download links could be read from a text file to avoid having to change each time the fla.[code]
So I've been working on this website for quite a while now. It's my first website fully in flash. I finished it in the beginning of November and have been slowly fixing bugs here and there. I'm just wondering what your thoughts and comments are? [URL]
I have been requested to create a website similar to the one on this page: [URL] I'm familiar with flash and some actionscript, but would anyone be able to provide feedback on how this site would be best be done?
I have a super involved and somewhat silly site I've been working on for a long time piecing together fragments of AS2 code and modifying them to the best of my limited ability.The site is here:http:[url]....I am finally adding the last steps, a series of contact forms with a PHP script in the back end. Anyway, I implemented a form script and have it triggered by clicking the "CONTACT" button you can see on the lower bar. So, click contact and once the form opens (an external SWF loaded into an MC), type away and everything works fine unless you use the letter "f" in either upper or lowercase. It causes the screen to flash and for the form input to lose focus.It works (in that you can enter everything normally -- the form doesn't function, but that's just the PHP which I have yet to edit.)
I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I looked for a place to send general "feedback" and could not find one.I just wanted to let the management at Adobe know a couple things related to recent Public Relations blunders. Ever since the announcment that you were ending Flash Player for Mobile, I have had many conversations with people about this topic and there is SO much misinformation due to your announcement, it's going to tank Flash as a broader platform.
- Some think Flash doesn't work on Macs
- Some think the Flash player is cancelled on ALL platforms (PC included)
- Some think Flash in its entirety is coming to an end.
This perception seems to come from people of various levels of technical knowledge, from basic users where it's understandable they might be confused about the specifics of the recent news (but still not a good thing!) on up to key decision makers who don't know tech but are key to making certain spending decisions with regard to tech platforms (CEOs). This is a horrible place for Flash to be in right now and you need to quickly change the perception with a "Flash is alive and well" type of announcement.Remember, most people only retain sound bites and a few words from headlines. You may have announced "Adobe ends Flash Player for Mobile" originally, but what people retained was "Adobe ends Flash Player". You need to make a new announcement that the short attention span people will come away from with knowledge that all is well. "Flash not dead" for example.Man, whoever plans your PR needs to be fired. You could have killed off the Mobile player back before the MAX conference and then followed up with the news about Flash Player 11 and Stage 3D. That would have a perfect one-two punch, but instead you reversed it and all the excitement from FP11 @ MAX was blown away.
I have a qtwebkit browser with Mozilla NPAPI plugins from which I access a web page. This page contains flash forms and I need to be able to access and manipulate its elements. Does anyone knows if this is possible and how?
I was following 1 of the flash tutorials about creating a flash form and using .php to send the form to myself.I've followed all the instructions but upon uploading, the file just doesn't seem to work. I hope to have some kind of form in my new website.
I've developed an drag/drop interaction which works well, the issue is with the behavior of the submit reset buttons.If the "correct" drag objects are on the "correct" target - no issuesThe problem is if an "incorrect" drag/drop combination is selected, the "incorrect" feedback text displays and the reset button moves all drag object to the start position, but once the "correct" drag drop combination is submitted, the "incorrect" feedback textdisplays.id=bb539b6eff0afbf5&sc=documents&uc=1&id=BB539B6 EFF0AFBF5%21114#

I have a few multiple choice questions using ActionScript 3.0 that are not displaying the answer feedback when tested as a movie or published to a swf. The way the question is set up is that a learner clicks a radio button and then clicks a Check Answer button. A red X or green checkmark appears next to the selected answer choice.Incorrect/Correct feedback should then appear below the Check Answer button.Currently the Incorrect/Correct answer feedback is not appearing in the output box when published.
stop(); var currBtn = ""; var currSelected:Number = 0;[code].......
I have a scheduling application that allows users to save any changes. When the user clicks the save button, Flex sends all the information to a coldfusion script which picks the information apart and sends saves it to the database. That all works well and good, but I would like to be able to display some sort of text to the user saying something like "Your file was successfully saved" or "There has been an error.
I have some code running a media player and pulling multiple xml lists in depending on what button is pressed. What I would like to do is display button feedback state (to show what section is being played) based a click.I am thinking that I could create a conditional statement based on last button clicked but not 100%.
I used code that kglad suggested to add a button that copies the embed code for a SWF to the user's clipboard:
clip_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,clipcopy); function clipcopy(e:Event):void{ Clipboard.generalClipboard.setData(ClipboardFormats.TEXT_FORMAT, s);
It uses drag-n-drop interactivity. When I drag a MC and drop it in a "drop-box", feedback pops up. When the mouse leaves the drop-box area, the feedback remains. Is there a way I can have the feedback go back to blank when my mouse leaves the drop-box area?
I have some code that initializes an array (arrQAnswer) that stores what button the user clicked on (0,1,2, or 3). That option it put into arrQAnswer, then compared against arrCorrectAnswer to see if the user got the question right. The problem is that for each time the user clicks on a button, they are taken to a new screen to display feedback based on the answer of the question. If the user gets the question wrong they are returned to the original screen and try again. This is where arrQAnswer is screwing up (or more likely, where I am screwing up). On the first question where the user chooses an answer, then returns to that screen, arrQAnswer re-intializes. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Note that it only happens on the first question, I think that is because the first question is on the same frame as the code (below):
I am trying to create a simple form using Actionscript 3 that will collect data from a form, then pass that data to an asp file. I have attached the following code to the submit button,but this is not working.I'm not sure if I have to add anything else and I don't understand why this is not working. I'm trying to load all the variable info into one variable called email form.
submit_btn.onRelease = function() { var emailform:text; emailform.email_txt = email_txt.text;[code]......
I have a flash form that need to submit values to a PHP file.I am using in flash: varsToSend.send("subsrcibe.php","process","POST"); The "subsrcibe.php" contains a form that is connected directly to a database.What i want to do is, to load the variables from Flash to this PHP file, and then submit them automatically to the database (The PHP page should not open to the users).
I am having some issues with a php email form that I am using in my AS3 project. the form works perfect and all communication is good.however when the user is on the page and wants to tab to the next text field it jumps to one of my hyperlinks on the same page and not to the next text field down on the php form.
is there any way to stop this from happening.I have tried placing the php form on a seperate layer in a seperate mc and I have done the same with the hyperlinks .you can see what I mean by visiting this development site.(after entering go to contact)http:[url].....
I have only two fields Name and Email in a Order form and a PayPal button for payment at PayPal ( into my account).I can do the mail portion but have no idea about PayPal code, however on search here I found one code and after pasting this one to the PayPal button it redirects to my PayPal account.But the question is anybody can post a message and leave the site without paying me. How can I do this thing so that the user will forced to pay before posting the mail form.
I'm struggling to get the form to to go to a new frame once the form button has been submitted. [URL]Using ActionScript 2.0 The submit button is at this following path:
Scene -> txt8 (MC) -> t8.1 (MC)
The button has the following code on:
Code: on (release) { share_form.loadVariables("pay_per_click.php", "POST"); }
The onClipEvent(data) is held on the movieClip txt8, as this is the clip that holds the all the form components.
Code: onClipEvent(data){ _root.nextFrame(); }
The next from frame that i'm asking it to go to, is directly after the txt8 MovieClip. Both the the txt8 MovieClip and NextFrame have stop(); code on them.The form submits all the info into the database, I just can't get it to load the next frame.
am sending one user object from java to flex using remote object,now i want to get each item from that array to display in text boxes...how can i do this ?
userInfo=event.result as Array; <mx:FormItem label="FirstName" fontWeight="bold" width="325" required="true">[code].....
I have an HTML form that I want to upload to MySQL with PHP. That part's easy, but the thing is I want the submit button to be a Flash object. Somehow I need the Flash button to submit the form, but I think I can figure that out. The tricky part is that I need it to set another PHP variable before submitting the form. The variable will be determined by a bunch of stuff, but I can code that in actionscript later. I just need to figure out how to pass the variable back to the webpage. A $_POST variable would probably be fine.
edit: What if the flash object returned some javascript and set a variable that way? making it submit the form as well while still catching a variable?
I have always wondered this functionality but would like to know what your approach is for this task:
Lets say a project requires three forms screens:
Screen 1 is user info Screen 2 is product Survey Screen 3 is Contact info
All three forms will be generated on runtime. So the application cycles starts with Screen 1 which has the usual user info fields such: First Name, Last Name, Email and until user fills in all three fields, application will now allow the user to go on the screen 2.
I have only dealth with one screen form and have never programmed a segmented form. I usually declare a BOOLEAN and set it to false and after making sure that all the fields are filled then the BOOLEAN Value is set to true and user is able to submit the form.
Now having to deal with 3 different forms, how do you handle such situation. Does one need to set Boolean value to false for each screen when the screen is initialized or loaded first?
I have noticed two differences between spark and mx forms which are causing me some problems. It seems by default the mx forms are arranged to the label is above the form input item. In Spark they are arranged next to each other. Also the label in spark forms are bold by default.For example MX code could be
