I have two laptops. I have installed Adobe Flash CS5 in my first laptop (Windows XP). When I start the application, it shows the following message: "Adobe Flash CS5 has encountered a problem and needs to close". I have installed the Flash CS5 in my second laptop and it worked fine.Error signature:

In my machine I have installed only Adobe Flash CS5 proffesional trial version. Now this installation is not supporting adobe.utils.Extension class in this version. I have tried with all latest updates from adobe site. My doubt is does adobe.utils.Extension class is available in licensed version of Adobe Flash CS5 proffesional?

I have a bug in my Flash cs3. After I close the program, it is still running.What I mean is, if I check task manager (Ctrl, Alt, del) Flash.exe is still running. Also, I can no longer re-open Flash unless I end the process in task manager first.

In the new Flash CS5 Actionscript editor, there's a bug with the auto close bracket. If I have an existing pair of brackets, when I hit the Return key in the same line as the opening bracket, the editor automatically inserts a closing bracket even when it is not needed. However if I press Return on the line after the bracket, it will not close the bracket. I don't seem to experience this in Flash Builder. One possible way is to disable the auto close bracket option but I find the auto close bracket is useful despite the slight annoyance mentioned above. I expect the editor would be able to detect if there's already a closing bracket and not insert a new one.

Has any one experienced a crash when using "test movie" in Flash CS4 on Windows 7?For me, it started when I began working on an Actionscript 2.0 project. It happens every time I test a movie, then minimize the window.I have tried re-installing Flash, but the problem still remains. The weird thing is, it waits until I minimize the window. No other time.
Test movie --> Close it --> Minimize Flash --> Wait a second or two --> Crash

I'm wanting to create a moving object that will be exported into a tv commercial. Object has already been created in Adobe Illustrator, and now will be dropped into flash for adding movement. The destination commercial will be created in Sony Vegas, with the settings of (Australian) PAL television (25 fps, 576x720 pixels, lower field first).Thus keeping it simple, I want to set Adobe flash with the same output format, meaning that the canvas will have to be 576x720 pixels at 25 fps. So far this seems to have worked okay.Now I'm wanting to get rid of the canvas colour, just like I have here in this photoshop screen shot.
Judging by the colour palette in Flash Professional, it looks like it can't be done. I've checked "transparent palette" through yahoo and google, and had no results. The adobe documentation only details how to remove a background in Photoshop.

I need to close the popup(adobe flex), non modal window if I click on the parent page of the popup. I have to do the out of focus check and then do some validation before close the popup. So what I was thinking that is there any inbuilt focus check event or do we need to create custom event for that?

On some sites flash won't play, Adobe TV being one of them. Youtube and many others are fine.I have tried Firefox, Safari and Chrome (all latest versions) on OS X Snow Leopard. I have installed removed and reinstalled the latest Flash. I have even physically removed the Quicktime plugin (from the library/internet plugins) and the Quicktime application (from applications).

i can't export as Quicktime, it just stops at "Recording Flash Content" - Yes i could export as .avi, but for some reason, i lose some effects there, i could export as .swf as well, but Sony Vegas won't read .swf files, and i can't find a FREE (I don't want some trial with annoying Logos) ...

On the About Us and Services pages there is a link to open up a pop up box. This works fine but for some reason if I change the text in one section, for instance the "our team" pop up box text the pop up box on the Services page "read more" and "paranormal info" box has the same text displayed.I can't seem to find where to change the text for each box individually. Adobe Flash Pro to create my own Flash animation for an online class assignment.I downloaded the trial fine but I have no idea how to open it and get into the program.There's no icon for it and it's nothing in the Start Menu.I'm running Windows XP by the way.There's a folder that says adobe Flash Pro CS5, but I don't know how to open the program itself to get into the work area.I also extracted the zip files but nothing changed.Just s folder named "Flash Pro CS5" which contains "Adobe Flash Professonal" and "Goodies" folders with a Readme.pdf.

windows 7 64 bit IE and mozilla firefox , both 32 bit Says I have flash player installed. I have the latest version. My windows is up to date, 64 bit 7. Plugin is enabled, works on adobe's site. Doesn't work anywhere else to my knowledge
Attached pics are what other people have looked at while trouble shooting, I have looked many places, and have not found the correct answer[URL]..
The folder is not there. I thought that would probably be the problem. Manual installer uninstalling and all kinds of installing have been tried.

When ever I try to save a cs4 file as CS5 the adobe flash cs5 will stop responding for no reasons
also, some times and only for some files when I save the cs4 file as uncompressed cs5 and then save that uncompressed cs5 to normal cs5 the conversion works and some times not.
ofcourse any of the cs5 files cannot be saved as cs3 or cs2 for no reasons..
p/s: microsoft office can be saved to any previous versions..
