Are there websites where we can buy or download such skins for fast customization? the only website i know is activeden but i can't find any animation skins to buy. isn't there a market for such things?

I know thats not a great idea, but it is not the biggest website in the world, however it does contain seven or eight .sws that take some time to load.When I test the website via a cable connection (T1), the speed of opening the website is not bad, but on DSL pretty slow.I dot want to turn people away from my site how can I make sure my flash site doest load that slow? I have labeled frames on and off to allow for animation of pages elements. And in the root timeline the actionscript is as such:

So, if I have a presentation with 50 slides and they are named 001 to 050 and I need to insert a slide between slide 010 and 011 is there a way to have Flash renumber them or do I have to just manually rename.

After the introduction in key frame 1, the timeline stops at the next key frame.From here, one can navigate forward and backward between the 5 content key frames, using buttons.These buttons are available throughout these five key frames.

Each slide contains animation and plays well the first time but when if I want to back to a slide, it would only show the last frame of that slidI tried many things including making buttons for back and forth and managed to make buttons that fade when you pan over them (big accomplishment:) but can't get them to actually do stuff for me, like go forward and backward. I tried to assign to the button's frame "UP" thee following script but it doesn't work:

Professional :: Video In Flash Presentation Isn't Playing Ball
Feb 16, 2011I am creating a flash presentation for something that I'm doing at university on Friday, and the video is the only thing in the presentation that isn't working.The presentation I have some words, music and video and the words and music are playing fine (but the music and video are on the FLVPlayback thing so I think that's causing a problem, but I can't see how I can separate them) and the video comes into play.When I put the actionscript - stop() - at one bit of the presentation, nothing plays afterwards, and I'm wanting the whole thing to stop at the end of the music, and when a line of the presentation to come up (which is the last line) and then the video is just the one thing that is playing, along with this line which is stationary under the video.I've used Flash before, but not with sound or video as I had no call for it, but now I do its not working.

I understand that I somehow need to make use of fscommand in ActionScript, but I'm not sure how I can get Flash and PowerPoint to communicate between themselves.
I'm using Flash MX 2004 7.0 and Powerpoint 2003.
Professional :: Replacing Images In Flash Presentation But Slideshow Stays On First Image
Jan 3, 2012I have used this slideshow for few projects and all I've done in the past is import new images (about 100k) and publish. The image are bit map of type (png) not big about 100k size.
Without saving the file I do a "test movie". Instead of doing the slideshow it displays the first image but doesn't loop through the rest.
I'm at a bit at a lost here. The path to the image in bitmap properties on the origanal file in imported is relative but when I select a new image its full path.

I want the animation to play in the same timeline but I don't want to have to recreate the whole thing or recreate the portfolio. What type of file format does the animation need to be to play? Apr 12, 2011In fact, I make flash CD presentation in Adobe Flash CS5 AS2 (with minimal use of ActionScript). I need to load flash image gallery that I already have created, in new presentation file. Gallery was created in Flash Slideshow maker and as products I have. Swf,. XML and folders with thumbnails and picture (no. Fla file). The concept of the presentation (as root is concerned) should look like in uploaded picture "izgled otvorenog cd-a". In each of the folder on cd presentation (as on picture) is a Flash presentation controlled by their xml file whose name I must not change.
Exe file "Prezentacija 2011" is a presentation (Flash Projector) that I try to make. In the same presentation I create frames and for each of the frames added action:
loadMovie ("02_Kapije/kapije.swf", "kapije_ucitavanje");
kapije_ucitavanje._x = 23; kapije_ucitavanje._y = 167; stop ();
(Of course, for each item varies loadMovie root and instance name).
The problem is that presentations can't find xml file, apparently because they do not have the appropriate root. When all the files of the one gallery set in the same folder with the "Presentation 2011.exe" file, everything works normally (however, as I said, I cannot change the name of Xml file and that disturb the concept of my CD presentation). How can I drive loaded swf file from the above script to use Xml file in its folder? Here is my root foldersand link for presentation files : [URL].

What prevents Silverlight MVVM to be implemented like Flex ? Doesn't Silverlight have same capability in event system to do the same? If yes why does Silverlight do things more complicated what's the advantages then ? Is it about using Class Interfaces which are more strongly typed? What are the disadvantages also ? For example as for implementing MULTIPLE VIEWS for 1 View-Model does Flex implementation make it also more obvious?

I can't figure out how to load a game I made in flash into my porfolio so that it loads after clicking on a button, becomes playable, then have a button to leave the game and go back to my portfolio. Flash Website Stops Loading
Jul 29, 2009I've built a flash website for my client. I created the website, and it worked just fine. The client then came back with a few minor changes and additions. The only major addition was an intro animation, which I created in 3D / After effects.
Now, the website works when it's on my hard drive, but the minute I upload it, it suddenly stops at 3%. The loader dissapears, and nothing happens after that. I have tried deleting the additions, including the animation, and the updated menu. Same problem, only the point at where it stops loading becomes 5% instead of 3%. I have tried removing the preloader, and creating a shell.swf, which loads the file in using an external preloader. Same problem occurs. If I link directly to the file ie [url]... then nothing happens either (that link is for example purposes only). I have tried copying frames and pasting into a new flash file (main2.swf) and same problem occurs. Lastly, I tried removing the preloader, instead creating a simple test animation that loops until the file is loaded. Also just sits there and stops loading.

Nov 5, 2009I want to create a piece that allows a box to open that would hold say [URL]. The goal is to keep the user on the flash page but allow them to do a quick search without needing to leave the page. From what I can find though, flash can only render basic HTML. So far I have only found responses using As2 which gives me a slim hope but not much. I'm guessing this might be better achieved with javascript.
