Mar 5, 2008I have a photo gallery that uses a XML file to hold captions for each photo.The captions are displayed in the slide show under each photo.I want to go into the XML file and edit the tag that holds the captions and put a Hyperlink or a <a href> tag in there.I dont know if the caption output area in the SWF file has HTML enabled, does any one know of different ways around this.

Jan 14, 2011I understand that the code below should work but it doesn't, I have to take the underline before self out, for the hyperlink to work at all, and then it creates another window for the file. There may some sort of glitch that I am not aware of. But the code below does not work as is in my app.

Sep 1, 2009I'm creating a swf that will go on a web page. It involves a circle which is divided into several portions, each of which must link to a different site. I've created the circle and a simple animation that will serve as the hover state for each of the segments, now all I need to do is get the appropriate links implemented. I know how to add a link to text in Flash, but is there an easy way to add one to another element such as a movie clip?

Flash :: Professional - Infocaster Wants 5 (can't Make Video Work)
Jun 28, 2010I run a small digital signage business and need to be able to use Client provided Flash files. Problem is Harris Infocaster's built in video player is version 5 (yes, it is 2010 already). I made a 15 second clip with three photos and some text, looks okay BUT I want to include video an endless error messages when attempting to Export to Flash. Any takers on a solution.

Feb 17, 2010I am trying to make an index page with buttons for a photography site.the entire page is built in flash so far. I have created a drop down menu that is a Movieclip with 5 buttons.I can not seem to assign an external web page to each buttons that are under the movie clip drop down menu. Is this a possible? The Movie clip is run by mouse-over the word "studio Gallery" button. This drops down the 5 gallerbuttons (Portrait, children, wedding, Artistic Babies, etc...). In Flash 8 Pro I know I can assign an external web page named children on the main page but how do I assign these to the buttons in the drop down once the movieclip is made. Is this where I need to use folders with extra layers in the folder to make it work?

Feb 20, 2012I ve got a drag and drop code working, but what I really want to do is have a check answers button that tells the user, you have none correct, or two correct or all wrong... I have one target area, and 3 correct answers (out of 7) so I would like to let the user put as many ansers on the target as they want and then check if they have any correct, also a reset code would be nice to put everything back where it started... So far, I have found the object in the library and it's called a "sprite" and has something in the "linkage" field next to it. I've right clicked on it and tried both the Edit and Properties options and can't find what I am looking for anywhere.

However, I have a "Main" movie that I am trying to import the 4 swf files into.
