I have a PDF that I want to display embedded into a web page and the user can flip through the pages (just the forward and back buttons). I don't want all the extra toolbars that PDF would embed.
How do I convert a PDF into flash so I can embedded the pages and then flip through them?
I am in the process of building a membership website to sell streaming video. After paying people would have access to a video gallery of 70 or more videos. On the home page there would be a free preview. The videos were created in iMovie on a Mac.My question is should I convert this to flash? The reason to convert would be to make the website more accessible to most users on Mac and Pc.But. I don't want to lose quality in the conversion.
And. Would I be turning away customers by leaving it in Quicktime format? Although they would have to leave the site, essentially people could simply download the free Quicktime player for Windows right? With Quicktime Player can individuals watch the video in Full screen?
I've read lately that you can't use Flash on iPad and iPhone . On our website I'm using some Flash animations. As I understand it doesn't display on iPad and iPhone.HTML 5 does display. What's the best approach?Should I convert Flash to HTML 5? And how can I do that? Or are there other (even better) ways to make this work?
I downloaded some videos from youtube and vimeo , and when I doubble click on the file, its just an empty container, I do have Flash 8 and my friend helped me a bit to play the file by using Flash 8 , but whenever I wanna play the file, I have to have that Flash plyer in the same folder, can some1 be kind and help me a bit to convert my Flee or Flea , whatever is that called to a AVI or any other types of file , which Premiere can load !
I am creating a flash animation which has to be converted into Html 5. The reason for the conversion is the i-pad, so that my animation can run on i-pad or i-phone. I have tried using the WALLABY tool from adobe but haven't get the accurate animations. Though I have saw some adobe videos in which these people are perfectly running their flash animations through this WALLABY tool.
My boss needs me to create flash button 125px x 125px. And when they click on the button it will open up to the company web page. Here is footage the would like to use for the button:

I have only done static banners using Flash. There is a difference between a Flash banner or button? I am still a novice and need to get this done by Friday.
I'm a virgin to CS4, and a historian wanting to copy some documents that are in SWF files into JPG format. Is there a simple, "dummies method" for me to copy the SWF file, and then what are the basic steps for conversion. The website of interest is the Mexican national archives:[url].....When moving through the site it is possible to select images (Ver imagen/s).This is where I'd really like to be able to copy the image to JPG.
Is there seriously no way to convert a vector graphic into a motion guide for Flash? Are the Pen and Pencil tools really the only way to define the path for a motion tween? I have CS3 (Flash, Illustrator, PhotoShop). I just got the trial version of CS5. I have a subscription to[url]... I have searched these forums and the internet in general for hours.
All I want to do is move a symbol around in a circle, but my pen/pencil skills are not sufficient to create a circle. Editing the CS5 motion path has proved exceedingly tedious and not round. There's a perfectly good circle tool in all four applications...
Can I convert a Flash file to Quicktime or Windows Media Player? If so....how? (Also, is swf the only file format on Flash?) I've been reading I need to download some converter to do this.
I have created a booklet in InDesign cs4 that includes page turn transitions. I have saved it as a SWF file and it works perfectly on my PC with the ability to sweep through the page turns. My issue is now, what type of file can I export the SWF file to so that I can view it on an iPad and am still able to have the page curls?
I've made a gallery slideshow before but wasn't as intuitive looking back at it now and I want to start fresh on this new project. I would like to convert a jQuery lightbox style gallery into a flash XML based AS3 image gallery with categories. I don't want to code the FLA, I want separate AS files.
This is a school project for my website. I would use jQuery and I have more experience with it but this project needs a flash component. I'm just not sure where to start and looking for some advice on how and where I could find resources. I want it to be minimal as I can make it;
- 8 thumbnails to a "page/section" with more flowed into page 2 or 3 etc. (or a srcoller)
- a few buttons for categories
- images fading in full size with a description when hovered over and a close button
- preloader (simple bar)
Esentially something like this > http:[url].........works which is using http:[url].... for the thumbnails. That might be ambitious but I'd suffice with a simple fade effect.I've downloaded some galleries out there but most of the code is messy or outdated.http:[url]... this is alright, but all the code is done in the FLA. I might break it into AS files but it depends.
I have a swf video with sound and I would like to convert it to a mov file. When I inport the swf file into After Effects, the sound does not inport. How can I convert this file to a mov file along with the sound? I have Master Collection CS3.
I have a swf file that I need to convert to Quicktime mov file. I have looked on the internet and found many programs but they are all trial and you must purchase to fully complete the conversion.
I am working on a project where we want to parameterize certain variables of a flash file. The idea is: we create a script which replaces the parameters in the .fla file. The question is: How can I convert that file to a .swf using a script or batch file.
(I know how to do it with CS4 Flash etc., but I do not want to open it at all, the entire process should be executed programatically).
I have found many software to convert swf to fla, but not the other way around.
I have several FLV's that play fine in the old player using HTTP progressive download. I've recently created a new player that uses the Flash Media server to stream the files via RTMP.
Everything works great... mostly. I had to tweak my MP4 conversion settings several times before I got an MP4 that would play through the player on all formats and browsers. So that now works great.
But only about half of my old FLV's work. The other half just hangs, like nothing is happening. I've tried converting those FLVs to MP4s, F4V, even AVI and MOV's... but everytime the old FLV's lose their audio track. One video will play the first 3 seconds of the audio, but none of the others have their audio.
why would some FLV's work, but not others? And also, why can't I get the FLV's to convert to MP4s with their audio in tact?
I have a .PSD file that is a significant part of the website I am working on and I can only edit it properly with Adobe Flash Professional CS5 (out of the programs I have, GIMP doesn't work how I need it to). The problem is, I can easily open a .PSD file with Adobe Flash CS5 but I cannot SAVE it as a .PSD, it only allows me to save it as a .fla or something else that is an uncompressed .fla but I forget it's name. Neither of these work for what I need so how can I SAVE it as a .PSD or CONVERT it into a .PSD?
I accidently deleted my FLA file while cleaning up my computer. But I have the SWF version. Is there a way to convert my SWF to a FLA?I tried renaming but it didn't work.
