Sep 29, 2010I would like to build a quiz in which the trainee can choose and then drag and drop a graphic object onto one of a number of locations and submit their choice. Sort of like a hotspot, only instead of clicking on the right spot, you choose object A,B, or C and drop it onto location 1, 2 or 3. Ideally, I would like to use graphics (or SolidWorks drawings) of the actual objects and locations. The training is for assembling mechanical devices and each assembler needs to be certified before being let loose on the assembly line. What tools and techniques to use to accomplish this? I would like to incorporate the quiz in Captivate or as a standalone.

Sep 1, 2011I'm working on an Adobe Flash Builder 4.5 iPad application. I have only a humble 13" MacBook to work with. I am being aggravated by the problem of debugging my application in the Flashbuilder's iPad simulator. The FB simulator screen is almost the same physical size as a real iPad, which is too big to fit on a 13" MacBook. Is there some setting in Flash Builder 4.5 that would scale the iPad simulator to fit the available screen real estate?

Oct 4, 2011i have build a small test app in Flash Pro 5.5 overlayed with the AIR 3 sdk.is has just 2 buttons to record and playback audio from the microphone. when i test this on my iPhone 3g - i record myself saying "1-2-3-4-5". but when i playback a half a second or so is missing from the beginning : "3-4-5-".
when i test this on the desktop all is fine is this a result of the iPhone 3g's cpu power or is it a bug or is it my code?

Jul 9, 2010I am in the process of building a membership website to sell streaming video. After paying people would have access to a video gallery of 70 or more videos. On the home page there would be a free preview. The videos were created in iMovie on a Mac.My question is should I convert this to flash? The reason to convert would be to make the website more accessible to most users on Mac and Pc.But. I don't want to lose quality in the conversion.
And. Would I be turning away customers by leaving it in Quicktime format? Although they would have to leave the site, essentially people could simply download the free Quicktime player for Windows right? With Quicktime Player can individuals watch the video in Full screen?
ActionScript 3.0 :: Flight Simulator Type Of Animation
Aug 5, 2010The scenerio: I am trying to make a very simple flight simulator type of animation. When the user presses and holds an arrow key, things move/rotate. The problem: If you alternate moving/rotating things in different directions, the location/rotation of these things becomes skewed. They seem to rotate or move more in one direction than another. For instance, if you play around with the animation for a while, the background is moved or rotated so far in one direction that you can eventually see the edge of the background movieclip. I have tried to tween these things back to the propper location but it just does not look good at all.

I have CS3 (Flash, Illustrator, PhotoShop). I just got the trial version of CS5. I have a subscription to[url]... I have searched these forums and the internet in general for hours.
All I want to do is move a symbol around in a circle, but my pen/pencil skills are not sufficient to create a circle. Editing the CS5 motion path has proved exceedingly tedious and not round. There's a perfectly good circle tool in all four applications...

Here, there are two buttons, one starts recording and the other stops recording. The resulting .swf file is only 2kb in size and it doesn't do what it is supposed to do.What am I doing wrong here? Other players similar to this have sizes in the range of 80-100 kb.

I would like to be able to use multiple video inputs and use text and graphics. To create a video mixer, picture in picture, key in graphics, etc. I'm able to do this on the display but would like to be able to record and stream it as well. I would also like to retain HD resolution. Recording the window maybe a dirty method. Is there another way?
