I'm developing a web project and it need access client's web cam and capture images then store them on the server. And i found silverlight 4 can do this,,but the problem is my project runs on the .net 3.5 server machine (i can't change it) , so i cant use silverlight 4. Any one has idea about how to do this in asp.net? (It's ok with me flash plugings or anything)
I am using Asp.net/C# to build an application , i have a requirement wherein i need to access webcam from my page and capture images of users.So i am trying to achieve this by creating flash file .
Is there a way to know the max resolution of a webcam ? I need to capture images from webcam and send its on another notebook throught internet.
So I want to capture images at max resolution indipendently from webcam automatically without setting the resolution every time ( if I have a webcam with 1.3 MPixel, I want to capture images at 1.3 MPixel; If I have a webcam with 640x480 Pixel, I want to capture images at 640x480 Pixel; and so on... ).
I am developing video conference application in flash with FMS4.5 and integrating StageVideo API for rendering video on hardware and it's working very nice but, I am not able to capture picture from StageVideo.
I'm trying to prevent screen capture of some copyrighted images displayed in a Flash Web site. I've tried using onKeypress "prt scr", and jumping to a frame in the timeline where the image isn't displayed, as the Print Screen key is the most commonly used for capturing from image editing programs. But that key option doesn't seem to be available.
Part of a web application I am developing requires the ability to capture still images from a Flash or HTML5 video playing with in a browser. Actually, users of this web app will also have to have the ability to:
Draw a crop box on top of the Flash/HTML5 video player Be able to resize that box if necessary Capture the image with in the crop box frame Have that image be saves and sent to the server
Also, this video image crop/capture tool will also have to be restricted to the perimeter of the video frame. I don't want users getting confused and potentially capturing an image outside of the video frame because all we are concerned about is the content of the video.
I just don't know how to access this type of xml code.And I can't change it to something else because I have a component that reads only this type of code.
I've got a job for a client that includes creating a flash movie that will contain a number of thumbnails that represents links to avi movies, powerpoint presentation etc. The thumbnails need to be updated and added to on a regular basis. Is it best to call the thumbnails from an xml doc so the client can update easily?In the flash movie the thumbnails will be presented as a horizontal slideshow that needs to scroll horizintally on mouseover, and the thumbnails will also display a caption on mouseover. Is this all possible if the images are coming from an external source such as an XML doc.
I've written a content management system that writes(creates) xml files and uploads images to a directory outside of the webroot. I need to load these xml files into a flash application that resides within the webroot. The xml files contain tags that point to images that are used by the flash application.Having tested this successfully locally, I am using this directory structure:
I have a very specific problem. I need to load certain images that my php script creates, and acts as proxy to some apis, into a Flash client (application) however I cannot use direct calls to HTTP server because I'm not allowed to use allowscriptaccess=true. So I've been using FMS for some aspects of my application such as live video and audio and SharedObjects.
I know I can write scripts to load and parse XML files on the server side so that shouldn't be a problem to get, however I'm stuck on loading in images going through FMIS.
When I test my video recording and chatting application using SharedObjects, everything works fine even if allowscriptaccess=false, but none of my images will load (naturally since the script access is limited). I know that some sites disallow scriptaccess parameter in Flash embed code so I would want everything to go through FMIS.
I have read some suggestions that I could try to load files directly from server-side on FMIS as binary and try to pass that to the client and let Flash generate the image with ByteArray but I wouldn't try to lose time if it's not possible or will stumble upon problems.
Does anyone have any ideas whether or not FMIS can serve images direclty through RTMP (which would save me some headache) beacuse I could load XML info from server-side and when I get the link to image use RTMP to load the image, but I'm unsure if this is possible at all.
I'm working on a project (using flash builder 4.5) where a user can click on one of a number of pictures to perform an action. The images are all loaded into an array of UIComponents through actionscript. I have a private variable as follows: private var _selectedChild:UIComponent;
Which keeps track of which UIComponent is currently "selected" (was the last item clicked). I just want to show an Alert when the picture is clicked displaying it's id and the source filename. Alert.show("Current id: " + _selectedChild.id + " -- filename: " + _selectedChild.source);
The id comes out easy with _selectedChild.id, but there is no such thing as .source - I looked throughout the entire list of possible variables eclipse gives me and I can't figure out which one would display the url or the source. I feel like I might be missing something easy - does anyone know how to get this information from a UIComponent?
This is the relevant mxml: <dp:Test id="test" width="100%" height="100%" > <mx:Image id="i1" source="images/i1.jpg"/> <mx:Image id="i2" source="images/i2.jpg"/> </dp:Test>
I am working on a Flex 4.5 app tageting Android. In different views the app needs to load and display images which I have deployed as part of the app. Where do I put these images? And how do I load them? I am familiar with @Embed for images, but this doesn't seem to be the correct approach in this case. I also know how to load from the file system, but I really don't know how to include my images as part of the app for distribution.
I am currently developing an application with a Flashlite frontend which communicates with a C# server. The C# server access a database to retrieve images (stored as byte[]) and feed them to the frontend. The thing is, im using XMLSockets so I tried to convert the byte array into a string which left me with something like "23659256239786107089710981890776178910976". I then send it over to the Flash lite, but how to turn this into an image. I am currently using Flash Lite 3.0 /AS 2.1
I have a MovieClip in my library called WindowHider. The timeline for WindowHider contains a frame-by-frame animation that is made up of individual PNG images that I imported. Each of the 10 or so PNG images sits on it's own frame within WindowHider.I can successfully create an instance of WindowHider within my Document class and add it to the display list.
Question: Is it possible to access the smoothing property of the PNG images within WindowHider's timeline, from the Document class? The WindowHider class is animated and rotates, thus the pixels show and the image is jagged. I know if I could access the smoothing property it would solve the issue.
I created a for loop to assign properties to my buttons all at once. The thing I can't figure out how to do is capture what button was clicked in the past. Basically, [code]...
My dilema is setting up my code so it remembers what the previous button was so I can add code to do something to that.
How do I capture events of an obj behind another?I have a button(btn1) which I am applying a tween to. This tween is responsible for fading the btn out using the alpha prop (to 0). Behind that btn is another (btn2). I am having trouble leaving btn1 in place (same x and y) and being able to press on btn2. I have removed the eventHandler for btn1 but it's still blocking the other button. Other than creating another var and checking in the tween on complete handler is there any way to leave btn1 in place but be able to click through it??
I'm building a website application in PHP that requires a signature from the end user. For this part of the website it will be exclusively viewed on Windows based tablets. So, my question is this: What's the best way to capture a signature online? I've looked at flash or HTML5 canvas/excanvas, but I am seeking a more experienced answer.
what I'm looking for is a tutorial on how to save a MC directly to my server. So let me explain this. The user will click on a button inside my flash application and it will save the MC straight into a folder on my server (as a jpeg), so it can be accessed later on.Is this even possible?
I'm looking for any information anyone may have on ActionScript 3.0 and capturing the area of the stage. I'm not interested in taking a picture of someones desktop, just the stage.
I have a problem with the sound capture of my Microphone in Actionscript 3.0.Particularly I would like to capture the "power" of sound, better if in decibel.Does a method / attribut of class Microphone exist.
Ideally what I was initially looking for is an implementation of the HTML5 Media Capture API with a polyfill rolling back to Flash, however, my research has concluded that the API is in its infancy and is yet to be taken up by any of the major vendors, and in addition to that, Flash means for doing what I need seem scarce.I need to be able to take webcam input from a camera, show a live preview, record, and play back that recording, nothing more, no upload to server necessary, all local
I've been developing in flash for a while now and now I have a job developing flash and actionscript 3.0. I have come across a project with a simple concept but I have found it difficult to implement.
What I want to do is allow the user to click a button and record their voice and then I want them to click another button and play it back. I don't need to save or store it and I don't have access to a flash media server or any alternative.
