Actionscript 3 :: Sending Data From Flash To PHP Using POST Method?

I have a developed a application that allows users to draw simple images on a canvas. The name of the movieclip(canvas) is canvas_mc.
I need to save this drawing on the server using php. I have to convert the movieclip (canvas_mc) into png and jpeg and save it. I have successfully save it on local drive using some classes available in

How can I save it on server using PHP. I have been asked to use the post method. If possible give me the code also as I just moved into programming from design :-)
There seems to be a problem with Firefox 2.x sending variables to PHP scripts with the LoadVars.send/POST method.

I was just wondering if it is important to include POST as a method of sending loadVars to the php file. i was using POST before and i still ecountered some problems of receiving empty mails. Since i found an example which do not use POST or REQUEST method i dont have anymore prob. I just wanted to get another opinion about that as i wanna start using server side script with flash and i know that ill be using the POST method.
I really need to send a variable via POST method to an URL and the navigate to it. navigateToURL sends variables using GET method, although I specified POST. URLLoader sends variables using POST method, but does not navigate to the URL.

I have form in flash with input text fields with Var field set to t2_2 t3_2 t4_2... what i want to do when user enter values and press buton it should post data(values) to aspx page - how can i do that ? i saw what i did

i created xml in flex after that creation i post to php via http service but when i add like xml in http service flex throws error msg like Error #1096: XML parser failure: Unterminated element." What did i worng ? How to send xml data flex to php ?

I am sure I am missing a simple thing. I have done some research but it seems that I am missing the link between requesting a URL and POSTing a value. I have been trying to figure this out for some time.
I will be creating a program to use for data entry. I'll be studying zebras in kenya and I won't have the internet there as I'm recording the data. Im building a reservation form, using actionscript and php. I use sendAndLoad to send variables to php via POST, which returns a different HTTP POST response in case of success or not. Is there anyway to "read" HTTP POST responses with actionscript?

I have an interactive Flash simulation that I have imported into SABA Publisher. I need for the Flash file to communicate with SABA, basically returning that the user has successfully completed the simulation. SABA is supposed to be able to receive data from Flash.

I'm building an AIR application. Basically, what I'm looking to do is using navigateToUrl() to open a browser window, assign it a "name" and then, send variables to that newly opened window using the POST method.
EDIT : I need the window to be visible, this is why I absolutely need to use the navigateToUrl() function

I have a page, written in php that recives and ID value for Album information stored in an XML file. The XML File contains a links to "Samples": I'm trying to get my flash file to "retrive" the data (the ID value) from the php page (the flash file will be embedded), and make a list of samples that can be played. I have a web page with a button that does a redirect to another web page with a flash movie in it. The button on the first page sends http post data as part of it's functionality.
I'm basically interacting with a third party API flash file to send HTTP POST requests to my server. know I'm on somewhat the right path because it requires a crossdomain.xml file, and before I added that part nothing in the POST variables was showing up, however since I added that file there are 4 variables that are set, these POST variables are sent by the application to give me basic information about the file.. but I actually need to read the RAW POST data to actually save the image being sent by the Flash.I'm aware there are 3 ways...$GLOBALS['HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA'] $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA which is probably the same as the firstfile_get_contents('php://input')For whatever reason, neither of these "work". By "work" I mean they're not being set, when I var dump them I get nothing.
Could it be that there's a setting in php.ini that I need to set, or perhaps the Flash application is truly not sending the actual image? I think it's doing the right thing, because it's a semi popular API and it's used by a couple other sites so I'm pretty sure it's right on their end.
