How could I split styles, code and layout for every panel to several files?

Jul 10, 2009I have an accordion component on my stage and I really do not even know where to start to do .I found this code on the Adobe help pages and it causes the movement of the accordion to bounce... which is great... but my problem is populating the accordion with the data.

My accordion is called "top_acc".I have three(3) labels... (FIRST,SECOND, and THIRD) Within there i would like arrays to be displayed for the select label.My arrays are defined and when i trace them i get exactly what i am looking for... the format of the code to add an array to my accordion...then upon selecting the item in the array displayed i would to be able to display that same array value in a text box called "my_selection" ....also the amount of items in the array are not static and change day to day..

Sep 27, 2011My problem is i am trying to make a panel. My button in in Main.mxml whereas the panel functions are defined in panel_Create.mxml. the code works fine. In panel_Create their are functions to create panels at runtime. The problem i am facing is when i run the program it wont show the panels but it does increase the value of n and after 8 clicks it gives alert message. The code works fine when i put all the code in Main.mxml

Nov 22, 2010I have an application in flash, I build in ActionScript 3.0 Flash IDE, my application loads some external swfs which mentioned via XML file. Its working fine at the moment. But I need to compile all these external SWFs and xml file into single exe file. How can I compile like this. or how can I code like this?

You can see an example, the application is build in .net and it import pdf and publish it as flash projector or web based(swf). How is it compiling all the external SWF files.
Flex :: Flash - Uploading Multiple Files Simultaneously?
Feb 3, 2010I have been working on a flex uploader, where the user can select multiple files.It works fine when the files are uploaded in a queue (one at a time), however as soon as I try to have it upload 2 files at once I run into issues.
It seems that files will often lock up, and either stay at 1% until every other file is uploaded, or just not complete at all. There is never more than one file uploading at a time.Is there some issue with calling .upload on multiple files at once in Flex?

Flex :: Use Flash Builder To Run Multiple Mxml Files In One Project?
Mar 1, 2012I imported an .fxp project into a Flash Builder and then observed there are 5 .mxml files in the src/(default package) directory. Silly question -- how to run each of these five files?
Since I've named the project differently than any of the .mxml files, whenever I try to run something it uses the default (empty) .mxml file named after the project. Deleting that empty mxml file didn't help anything. I also tried to clean the project, but nothing changes (although I see the directories refresh with the same contents). There are no html files in the bin-debug directory.
There must be some simple way to run those .mxml files that I'm missing.

Mar 10, 2011I have an accordian which contains a repeater. That repeater takes an array as a dataprovider. The array in turn gets data from an XML file, on server, via HTTPService.
Now, data in the XML file gets modified after sometime frequently so I send the HTTPService after every 5 secs by using a Timer.
Problem: When the timer timesout after 5 secs, HttpService is sent, data is retrieved and showed in accordian but each time this happens, the accordian flickers. Thus, the flickering happens every 5 sec which is quite irritating.
Can I somehow remove the flickering to make the accordian update seemlessly? If it's the problem with accodian, will it persist if I use a DataGrid in place of accordian?

I've developed an Image Slider using Flash Builder 4.5 The problem is that when I included that in HTML page when someone performs ZOOM with CTRL+ Mouse wheel in a browser, the DIV that holds my SWF file and SWF file itself increases in size but the image itself that is inside my slider still remains of the same size.. How to fix it?
