Actionscript 3 :: Post Dynamic Information To Facebook From Flash?

I am building a Flash site and I want to be able to allow the user to post dynamically produced information to their Facebook wall, but I can't find out any information within the Facebook developers documentation.
Its simple enough in Javascript/HTML:

As you can see I don't want to create sessions or login or anything complicated, just post to info to their wall.

I have a facebook application where the user choose 4 of his friends and then it creates a video (swf) with the pictures of your friends in it (loaded via xml). So I need to share this video on the user timeline. Everything works fine but the video is not embedded in the post on his timeline, there is only a post with the link to the page in it.The weird thing is, if I post the url directly on my timeline, the video is embedded, but not if the same link is posted via the application.here is my code called by the share button in js :

I'm asking this question because I can only find examples and answers for the PHP version. I need the Flash version. I'm trying to get my friends information, but I think I'm doing it wrong because if I trace it, it'll give me either [object Object] or undefined.

I published 2 days ago a Facebook app, it's a flash game, after the game over, the flash file POST score to my php file, Publish your score to wall if you beat your highscore, Facebook disabled the application because bad reviews from users.
How to POST from Falsh to PHP without redirecting the user, i want after the game over POST score, insert it in DB, and show the user Stream Publish popup if he want to publish to wall the score or not.

In the comments of this question, users have commented that it's possible to insert a Flash applet into a Facebook wall post. I was under the impression this isn't possible without making a FB app.
I'm aware that FB will convert links to various media types - e.g. a link to a MP3 becomes automagically a SWF MP3 player, but the Flash applet used is chosen by FB's internal logic, not by the content of the post. Is it possible to embed a SWF applet of your own choosing?
As I haven't been able to find any documentation on this, has anyone else? Or, do you have some PoC code that does this?

After I upload a photo on a desktop facebook application i need to store it's post id in a database. I am creating a game that needs to be integrated with Facebook. The game is done and once the user complets that game it adds the button that send score to the Facebook wall of the user.
I have downloaded the Facebook api for flash and is able to connect to the user and get its id. But I don't know what command to use to post the score or message on users wall via swf.[code]...

My solution is just posting a wall into an html page and getting the source of page in Flash and parsing it.

Anyone know if you can connect, login, post an image to a Facebook account directly from inside of Flash? I grabbed the Facebook API for AS3 and have it installed, created an application definition on Facebook but am having no look connecting to it? I have seen some refereneces to it only working inside of Flex and am wondering it that's the case. I am looking to do a kiosk application where a camera image will be uploaded directly to the persons FB page.

Is there a way to post to a users Facebook wall via fbConnect? (php/as3) I can authenticate and pull info but not post anything. I have searched extensively and not found a working example or docs on how to post directly via AS3. My current work around is to external link to an Ajax page.

Is it possible to post a slideshow in your facebook newsfeed only using HTML/Javascript/CSS ?I think it is possible to post a slideshow using flash. But I'm hearing that FB is in the process of depreciating FBML, will this affect flash content too?

I am trying to figure out why this is not working. I have a Flash .swf that is attempting to POST some variables to a .php file in the same location as my .swf. My facebook app is in FBML Canvas. Here is the function I am calling. The .php file is never receiving anything

WHen I was learning AS2, it seemed incredibly easy to double it with PHP, but I am having a pretty hard time with AS3.Basically, all I need to do is do the same kind of thing that loadVars could in AS2. Just need to send a few pieces of POST information, and then load up the output of the script.I found this piece of code on the internet:

I'm using the FB API and it's working fine. I can post a photo just fine, and I can post to the users wall with me/feed but I need the post to include a link to another FB page. I learned yesterday that you can't post a link within a wall post - ie the users feed, so I'm trying to post a like, but not having any luck.

I would like to use Flash to send a ByteArray (of a PNG image) to a php file, in a facebook application. Is there a way to do this by sending the ByteArray as just one POST variable instead of as the entirety of the POST data?
There was a nearly identical question here: How can I send a ByteArray (from Flash) and some form data to php? but the problem is different; instead of smuggling other variables in other parts of the request, the image itself has to be sent as just a variable because Facebook commandeers the post data and puts in its own junk.
If not, can I send the image in some form other than a byteArray?

I'm currently building an application using the Adobe Facebook API and I've run into an issue where for the login method the Facebook login popup displays but when doing a Facebook share/post the popup is blocked.
This code works fine and displays me a Facebook login popup without question (Firefox):

However, the following code running in the same application throws up a popup blocker (again Firefox):
Facebook.ui( "stream.publish", "popup", params );
Does anyone know of a work around this issue to make the share popup come up just like the login popup?

I have dynamic flash content embedded into a Facebook fanpage. The flash file consists of an interactive environment where the mouse icon is substituted with a "flashlight" (i.e.spot of light), and the user "looks" around the dark room, lighting up the different areas with the light. When the light passes over certain areas (invisible buttons), specific "effects" are triggered and an animation ensues, along with an accompanying sound effect.It works great on the original webpage! But the Facebook page has some issues:1) The embedded flash file loads relatively slowly. I can deal with this, but the next issue is what is frustrating;
2) Everything works initially. The "flashlight" works. The background audio works. When the effects are triggered, the accompanying SOUND EFFECT works, but not the animation. After this, none of the effects will trigger. If I refresh the page, and let it load again, then everything will work.This is very frustrating, I can provide a link, if need be (I've had a somewhat similar problem on a website I designed with certain things loading a times, but not at others.

I've had an issue with using Facebook's Share feature.
The user experience on the shared content below is just completely unclear (even when I tested some clarified language: e.g. "click here"). Users simply don't know what to do: they often either click "Like," or they comment with something along the lines of "I support you."
According to the documentation, it is possible to share Flash content in these posts. I'm hoping I can create a "Support" button as an SWF button.
Is it possible to dynamically create such an SWF with a custom *href? Will my use case work on Facebook?

I'm trying to determine the practical difference between using the com.facebook.session.WebSession and com.facebook.session.JSSession. The documentation ([URL]) has more around WebSession - but the example I have which is closest to what solution I'm trying to implement uses JSSession and it looks like I could avoid all of the JavaScript pass-through & ExternalInterface calls I'm making. It appears that the benefit of using this new ActionScript Facebook API is to avoid having to make all of the Facebook calls via JavaScript.

I've recently used the 'Static HTML' application to add autoplaying flash content to a Facebook Page.Nothing too fancy, no sound, and only a few secs long. Now, Facebook say:-"Apps on Pages must not host media that plays automatically without a user's interaction."
What do they mean by 'Media' exactly? I can understand a ban on autoplaying audio content but does the ban extend to something as harmless as an animated GIF? Or more to the point, does an autoplaying .swf file fall under this?
Lastly, what course of action would Facebook take if I did violate this rule? Would they issue a warning (giving me an opportunity to remove the 'offending' item) or would they just shut down my page without any consultation?

I'm wanting the top 10 scores to display for a game I'm working on. I'm having trouble getting the information to display in a dynamic text box. I've been working on this for 2 days looking at examples and haven't had any luck. I don't know how to get more than one result to show in a dynamic text fields variable. Right now I am getting it to display the very last name in my database. It seems like I'm close, but there needs to be some minor adjustments or something. Could someone give me a suggestion on how to fix this?
