Flash :: Getting Friend's Information From Facebook Graph API

I'm asking this question because I can only find examples and answers for the PHP version. I need the Flash version. I'm trying to get my friends information, but I think I'm doing it wrong because if I trace it, it'll give me either [object Object] or undefined.

ExternalInterface.call("doAlert", success) returns me [object Object], [object Object]. I also did ExternalInterface.call("doAlert", success.name), it returns me undefined.
There are some question on the StackOverflow about facebook & email, but after reading them I still have a problem with retrieving users emails.
Our app implemented on Flex and uses REST API. And previously it used notifications.sendEmail. App has publish_stream and email permissions (checked with users.hasAppPermission).

I have a button that the user clicks for the purpose of inviting a friend to the app.I understand that this can be done via the js sdk: http[url].....However I am already using the facebook_as3_api, and I would prefer to avoid using multiple facebook api's. Does the facebook_as3_api have a way of doing this, and if not, why not?
I'm wondering. Is it possible to create an external class just to initialize the API then use functions to call the different items? Like a shortcut to using the API without all the nitty gritty stuff.

Both doesn't work, which puzzles me. The first one worked without encoding it in any way, so I don't get why it doesn't work when I try to just call it like that.
I'm trying to display some Facebook video thumbnails in a Flash application, all of the video thumbnails I try to load seem to be hosted at [URL]. However [URL] cannot be loaded (Access Denied). Is there some way around this? (other than loading the images through a proxy). Maybe an alternative url which can be used?

how to get the user status, but the app I currently working on need to get user's friends statuses. Can I do this without needing user's friends to approve the app? I still can't find how to to this in the graph API.

im building a little flash website for a friend, struggling my way through. Its quite a steep learning curve as this is my first bit of flash work.Heres the problem, i built the part below, added buttons that should scroll through a series of pictures when clicked (which will be replaced with pages later).
The buttons work, and when pressed for the first time they select the right page. However pressing the buttons in a certain order seems to mess things up.
If i press page 1, page 2, page 3 then press page 2 again, page 1 is displayed

I wasn't quite sure where to put this. I created a banner for a friend in flash using actionscript 2 and the getURL command. When I go to embed it in HTML, the movie shows up and when you hover over it, it appears to link but when clicked it does not link. When I go directly to the .swf file it links, but not when I embed it. Is there anything special I have to add to my HTML to make the link work?
I'm trying to determine the practical difference between using the com.facebook.session.WebSession and com.facebook.session.JSSession. The documentation ([URL]) has more around WebSession - but the example I have which is closest to what solution I'm trying to implement uses JSSession and it looks like I could avoid all of the JavaScript pass-through & ExternalInterface calls I'm making. I have a facebook application where the user choose 4 of his friends and then it creates a video (swf) with the pictures of your friends in it (loaded via xml). So I need to share this video on the user timeline. Everything works fine but the video is not embedded in the post on his timeline, there is only a post with the link to the page in it.The weird thing is, if I post the url directly on my timeline, the video is embedded, but not if the same link is posted via the application.here is my code called by the share button in js :

I've recently used the 'Static HTML' application to add autoplaying flash content to a Facebook Page.Nothing too fancy, no sound, and only a few secs long. Now, Facebook say:-"Apps on Pages must not host media that plays automatically without a user's interaction."
What do they mean by 'Media' exactly? I can understand a ban on autoplaying audio content but does the ban extend to something as harmless as an animated GIF? Or more to the point, does an autoplaying .swf file fall under this?
Lastly, what course of action would Facebook take if I did violate this rule? Would they issue a warning (giving me an opportunity to remove the 'offending' item) or would they just shut down my page without any consultation?

[URL] I have everything in the text inputs being passed correctly, but I would also like the email sent to contain a small amount of text, that the user does not input, to explain why the recipient has just received the email. I'm doing a FB app with the Graph API in Flash. I've got everything working which consists in uploading some images created by the user in the app. The only part that I'm missing is how to tag these photos as with the Graph API it is not possible.
So I was wondering if it's possible to call a method of the REST API even though I'm using the Graph API.
