Eclipse :: Loading 32 Bit IE From SWT Browser Widget On 64 Bit Machine?

We developed an Eclipse plugin and tested & delivered on Win 32bit os. One of our view uses Broswer widget to load a Flash content. It works well on windows 32 bit.
Now planning to support Windows 64 bit. Unfortunately flash support for 64 bit is still in preview mode. SWT browser widget loads 64 bit IE though both version of IE (32 and 64 bit) available.
How can we try to enforce 32 bit IE in SWT browser widget?

I've got a strange situation; when I run a Flex app from Eclipse (i.e. click run as web app), my remote calls always hang. In Firefox, they return as failed. But when I open up a browser and browse to my .html file in the bin-debug folder, the remote calls work.

I've an interactive map to locate some places. Eveything is working fine in pc. but it's not working in safari (Macintosh Machine). While clicking the buttons at the bottom of map, the map is not scrolling to locate the position. As far as I know the browser acts as like a tool to display the flash content. Eclipse has a built in functionality to find unused variables (and methods too I guess). Flash Builder 4 is built on top of Eclipse but it doens't have that functionality. Do you know any plugin to achieve that functionality? Also, if you know any other kind of plugin besides SourceMate to improve Flash Builder let me know.

I am new to Flash/ActionScript, and I am having a lot of fun creating a project in Flash. am working on a character tracker (yes I am totaly geeking out) an I was wondering how to save the data I have entered into the project (hit points etc...) and load it back next time I opened it. The data would be saved on my local machine. How can I get Flash/ActionScript to do this?

i am using flash 8 professional and making my portfolio site using xml with flash. when you click the red buttons on the right, thumbnails appear on the left (and when you click those, more thumbnails appear, and then you click those and the image appears.) on my machine it works properly, BUT when i upload it, the thumbnails appear and then erase themselves (all except the first two). it's inconsistent and totally weird. i changed some of the code, tried messing with the publishing settings, and re-uploaded and nothing changed. a friend who works at an actionscript company said it doenst make sense that it works differently on my machine than online. she also confirmed that the way i embedded the swf in the html is correct

We have a quiet big flex application compiled with flex 3.4 SDK.We also have several modules to load after some requirements (some at startup, some later).Everything is compiled with the same version.At some point i got this exception on my machine and don't know how to fix it.
VerifyError: Error #1014: Class mx.modules::ModuleBase could not be found.
at flash.display::MovieClip/nextFrame()
at mx.core::FlexModuleFactory/deferredNextFrame()[code]....
I removed and installed already several flashplayer versions, but always the same error.When we copy the artifacts that are compiled on my machine somewhere and somebody else opens it on his machine it works.

I've migrated to FDT from flashdevelop and kind of have a hard time getting things to work the way I'm used to. In Flashdevelop, you could easily choose if the compiled swf was a release or debug version. In FDT however, it seems like there is no way to compile a version that has debugging information without it automatically opening up the debug perspective with a ton of debug windows, a profiler and actually entering debug mode.
As an extra plus, I keep getting a message saying "This feature is only available in FDT Max", although from what I know the debugger is included in the free version. Is there a way to do what I'm trying to do or should I just get used to this new way of working?

I am looking into using FDT (I currently use FB4), downloaded the free eclipse plugin, version 5.0, and configured it. I was trying to figure out how to compile a css to a swf file with it. This is super simple in Flash Builder, e.g. right click the css file and choose Compile CSS to SWF. I looked around and there is info on doing it via command line etc. Is there a way to do this in FDT eclipse plugin?

I have a flash movie that reads an xml file in the same directory as the .swf. This works perfectly when I just try running the .swf file, but when I add it to my website it cant seem to load the xml file. The swf and xml are in the same directory on the site and I have also tried loading the xml from a url like this: test.load('http:url....'); But this wouldnt work either :

I have an embedable widget. For each impression, I would like to track the referrer (the page where the widget is embedded onto). Right now I am using ExternalInterface to use javascript to check window.location.href when its available, however, I am finding that most of the time I am unable to set the referrer.

I need to load an SWF(child) which is embedded in a PHP page without loading the PHP page in the browser. I call this PHP page from another SWF(parent) using URLRequest. I do not want to load the SWF(child) directly in the SWF(parent), instead call the PHP page from SWF(parent). Is it possible?

The idea being that flash should load an image in IMG folder and place it more or less centered with a specified size. 5 seconds later, the animation should go to the next frame. My Problem is that, when played in an internet browser, none of these happens (it does when I play the swf standalone).

i have a preloader swf called 'load.swf' which loads another swf called 'banner.swf' into it. Evthng is ok when i runs load.swf individually. But when i embed the load.swf init to an HTML page, things go wrong. The swf doesnt plays, all that comes is a blwnk white scren.
