how to create a List components for Nokia mobile. For your information, i have visited the Nokia website about that.[URL] That website also can download the source code and documentation. What the problem is, that documentation doesn't show the tutorial how to add item, scroll the list and so on. Below is the feature of my mobile phone for clarify.
Mobile Phone: Nokia 5800
Flash : Flash Lite 3.0
Feature: Mobile Phone Touch screen
how to use a List components from Nokia. Just to know how to use the code for add the item, delete the item and scroll list.

im trying to create a mobile phone in flash, so the user clicks the buttons and the numbers come up on screen. Im having trouble making it display the numbers i want, for referance ive used the code:

on the button, and replaced the 1 where needed. It works so far, except for the 0, * and # buttons

Any experience of creating a keypad that acts like a mobile phone in text messsage mode eg to get the letter C you click the ABC button three times and everytime you click it the text field scrolls through each of the relevant letters.

I am attempting to simulate a mobile phone within a movie symbol. What I want to do is create a movieclip where teh user will be able to create a message in a SMS format.
I dont need to SMS to actually be sent but I would like the user to be able to "Simulate" sending a text message.
I have created a simple movieclip with 9 (1-9) buttons and a dynamic text (For the display). What code will go into each button?

I'm looking to build a banner advert for a client that allows users to input their details in order to receive a free guide sent through to their email address / have the option to enter their phone number for a call about the promotion. I've cracked the email validation (i think), however I'm having a few problems validating phone numbers before they are approved and sent for data collection. I have found the following tutorial online (url.../) which provides you with the following code;However, this is for US phone numbers I think and I'm looking to either have it UK based or preferably allow all telephone numbers to be validated (is this possible?). Currently the form on the tutorial page does not allow for standard UK landline and mobile phone numbers.[code]

I have a flash heavy website. I also have a PDF version of the information on the website. I want to add determine the browser (or platform) requesting the site and if it is a mobile device (or flash unsupported devide, i.e. iPhone or iPad) redirect the user to the PDF.

I have a very simple "HelloWorld" action script mobile app which simply adds a text field to the display list. Running the app on the desktop using the HTC Desire simulator works just fine, however testing on the device is throwing that error.
On the phone I have installed the Adobe Air available on the Market, the device is connected and the version of android running is 2.3.3.
I can't seem to get away from this error. I've tried creating flex mobile projects and imported one of iBrent's tutorial projects [URL].. to see if they work but alas I get the equivalent fail error.

I am building an Android application using Flex Hero. When I run the application I can package it fine on my mobile and run it on the device, however, as soon as I want to run in debug mode on the device, the device gives me a message like: "Can't connect to debugger (192.168.1.12). Enter IP-address or hostname". The device is connected with a USB to the PC and USB debugging is enabled on the device. I have tried to shut down the computer's firewall, but no result.

I'm trying to compile a decent .zwl file for squiggly spell checking in Flex; using British words, not American as supplied by default.
Ive managed to create a decent British list of words and ran them through the AdobeSpellingGen app to get a .zwl; great stuff.
However i need to add into this list a list of names, so they wont be flagged.
Does anyone know of a good source of either free, or paid for list of English Fore and surnames? Im trying BT as i type :)

I'm trying to create a loop of a phone that rings every 5 seconds using the Timer Class. The problem I have is when it gets to function stopRing and noRingTimer.start(); it goes backs to function onTimerComplete not the start.

the thing I mean cannot be probably done with the component, but I don't know how is the component I want called. I would like to achieve a list but with sort of "icon look". You could say some sort of springboard navigation.

I have built simple scrollable list menu for my mobile app - this is just a simple table with 1 column and there is a small jpg and description text in every row. This is built using the ScrollPane component (with scrollDrag enabled) - and within scrollPane every table row is simply a button object. This all scrolls and works just fine.
When you scroll the list - and when you let go your finger to scroll further it thinks that you've clicked and it opens the link. I am using onClick event at the moment (but also tried TapHandler) and they all do the same thing, they work but you can accidentally open unwanted menu item. How to separate swipe from just tap event in the code, so user doesn't accidentally opens the link?

I'm trying to make my own component that behaves like a list and supports infinite scrolling (in 1-dimension : vertical or horizontal) - both directions. For eg, a vertically laid out list which the user can scroll up or down forever - without ever hitting the 'last' or 'first' item. A good use for this: a calendar that displays each month as a list item.
Anyway, there are a bunch of things to overcome. The first of which, I think, is to disable the scrollbar's bounce effects (introduced in the latest Flex 4.5 (mobile) SDK). If I can disable the bounce effects, I'm guessing I can then add/remove items as needed to the list and it would scroll infinitely.

I'm desperately trying to fix a strange behavior in my custom iconitemrenderer list: When I change the view to the view with the list inside and start scrolling, the list gets white for the fraction of a second (apperently completely redrawn), but only once when scrolling the first time after the view change.

I think the problem is in the myList.dataProvider.itemUpdated(oldItem), apperently the renderer thinks it has to redraw everthing, but I have no idea why.. and why only after the view is shown again.if it's a bug or something? how can I get rid of this bahavior or how can I debug this this properly?

Just switched over to CS3, still adjusting to the many many changes. How on earth do you change the text color styles of a List component in AS3? I know it was easier to directly access the .color, .rollOverColor properties in AS2, but I can't find *ANY* comparable feature in AS3. I can see how everything else is skinned, by navigating the layers of symbols within the component.

I'm making a game and I an in-game editor that is able to create entities on the fly (rather than hard coding them). I'm using a component-aggregation model, so my entities are nothing but a list of components.
What would be the best way to obtain or generate a list of components? I really don't want to have to manually add entries for all possible components in some giant registerAllComponents() method or something.
I was thinking maybe somehow with reflection via either the knowledge that all components inherit from the base Component class, or possibly via custom metatags but I haven't been able to find ways to get a list of all classes that derive from a class or all classes that have custom metatags.
