View 1 RepliesI'm running into an issue where, if the dynamic text field I create wraps and autoSizes to 2 lines or more, the last disappears (sometimes partially). However, this only happens when I apply a DropShadowFilter to it. If I don't apply the drop shadow filter, it renders correctly. Note that whether or not the text renders correctly, flash seems to know that the text has wrapped and autosized, as this is how i assign the Y position of the second text field below it. I've spend hours searching for a way to put one paragraph of text in one tree node in Adobe flex. How can I do it? I created a simple tree view but the text is cut after the right border.
So I tried to create a tree renderer. In the renderer I specified width=100 and the text wrapped. But the height of the nodes was not being calculated properly, so the text over consecutive nodes overlapped and got messed.
So how do i do wrapped text in a tree node?

The circle display time and the hide time should be input in a input text box in the beginning. Also this has to blink for "x" number of user defined cycles. I literally saved the file as a swf etc and when I viewed it, there were massive random red shapes all over the dynamic areas completely ruining it.how these were formed as I changed nothing in the movie.

I'm having some problems getting a dynamic text box to only return two decimal places. I have a time line scrubber tied to a dynamic text box that outputs what frame it is on - but I need it divided by 20, then subtract 0.05

This works great most of the time...but other times returns something like 20.9999999. What can I do to ensure there are ever only two decimal places returned? See the attached FLA.
i am creating 10 Circle movie clips dynamically and giving each of them a width and height random from 1 to 50, I am creating these CELLS to react to eachother in an environment that I create, well anyway everything is going good but this, SPEED
i would like the smallest cells to have a speed of .05 and from then on the larger the cell the smaller the speed, Every ... property i guess you could say... of the cell is proportional to it's width.
