I am trying to accomplish a scrolling pic reel exactly like the one on this website [URL]. I want it in a bottom, scrolling continuously without any pause or break in between and so far I have came up with this code only

I'm using the following code to continuously scroll an image. I want to keep the mouseover but I need a way to make it scroll at an idle speed when the mouse isn't over the image.

I also noticed the image jumps to the left when the mouse is over it.
Do you ever have a question that has been asked all over the Internet...with nothing but shitty answers? This seems to be one of those questions: What's the best way to continuously scroll text while a user holds the mouse button down? (By the way, I'm not using the timeline, so don't waste your time telling me to use EVENT.ENTER_FRAME.)

what I want to do is have several external movies, say movie01.swf, movie02.swf and movie3.swf and then have a main movie that pulls in all of those swf's and plays them, sounds simple but I haven't been able to find anyone trying to do the same thing

but this'll just play the last movie over and over, I want a way to say something like loadMovie("movie01.swf", this); then when finished loadMovie("movie02.swf", this); etc etc ..

I located the following Actionscript 3.0 Class which performs the task of horizontally scrolling a picture in a continuous loop. Once it reaches the end of the picture, it then immediately starts over from the beginning of the picture. I am interested in making it so the picture fades in, scroll horizontally and then when it reachs the end of the picture, it fades out... It would then fade back in after a period of time and begin the process again of scrolling horizontally... Continuous loop. adding those features to this Actionscript 3.0 Class?

I recently used the loadMovie action to load a .swf file to a target in the movie which it was being called from. Then I tried calling a picture to another target in the movie, but it did not load the picture as intended. I read about it on my book, but it didn't seem to work. Is there anyways on calling a picture into a target in the movie without placing the picture inside an swf file?

When i click the the green button i want the green image to fade in.. i fugured out a way to do this on the timeline, but then i have to have a black box first fading in to remove the old picture and then start fading in the new picture..

I am loading a different external SWF into each one using Load External SWF behavior.Although each SWF is a different file, they are exact copies of each other (have exact same functionality); all 3 are text boxes with both scrollbar scrolling and mousewheel scrolling.Problem is, when on the stage at the same time, they all three respond to mousewheel scroll at the same time. I need them each to respond to users' mousewheel scroll only if the mouse is over the respective area (so that way they don't all scroll at the same time).The file was developed for me and the developer is not available at this time.

I wrote a short AS program to create a tileList and it functions fine, but I need to be able to scroll the list of pics according to the position of the mouse with out actually moving the scroll bar.... example of what I mean: the farther to the right mouseX is on stage, the faster my tileList scrolls to the right, if mouseX moves to the left of the stage, so does the scroll bar...Here`s my code so far:
