ActionScript 2.0 :: Template Monster 25325 X Add More Album - Pictures - Button

Dear friends, I am a newcomer in action script and I'm in big trouble with a template (Monster 25,325) This product comes with a library in xml, but by default program, only 4 albums can be opened, I tried to add xml and other albums by I made the call button by the FLA, but No change occurred, and those that I number beyond 4 it does not open the larger images, they are miniature. What do I do? Sending down the Action Script Template. In all timelines.
Jesus Christ - I thought I was really good in flash.Got this template and I can't see S***. WTH - is it supposed to be this difficult to manipulate a template or am I stupid??? Go into project explorer and can't see much AS so how the hwll are they getting the images and text into the flash swf. By the html??? I don't think so.

While I'm just a beginner right now it/I'm an experienced computer user and I have really enjoyed/but when I'm looking at it now I'm trying to use flash to edit a website template, for example monster templates. I bought a template from the site and nine trying to edit it now and well it just seems like it's a very very long process to do something kind of where I just want to look at the page and I want to edit the text and only I go to bed doesn't seem to be the case. So I'll show you what I mean.
When I'm using the program and I'm in Adobe flash I'm looking now at the screen inside the program and there's no text I see the graphics images and there's no text and also is that some type of way where it's easy to navigate link to link where I can just edit the text what supposed to be in there rather than search for the funeral push page up and down until I come across just a white background with tax and then have to edited which is pretty confusing because I don't know where that's located but I the general idea that if you change it but surely there must be an easier way.
So basically I'm including a screenshot that shows you exactly what I'm talking about. Basically once again I'm in fashion items Sandy text so it's kinda hard to see what was going on or whatever so you can see the snow text located in the thing but however when I publish the file yeah you can see the text and everything I'm kinda looking for some type of you well be able to see this and just edited really. I know there are other programs out there like SWF edited her or quick note to some like that. But I really wanted to use flash, unexperienced Photoshop user and I really love all Adobe products and I really think that this is the master program to use however I'm really don't want it as of right now it's been about 40 days and nine still a bit lost navigating through the program will I'm just really just China entities tax bills and just go through the site. Now I realize I should have the respect for beautiful program like this and it's not been a be set up to the way that I'm hoping it Siskind be a point-and-click editor I understand that. I'm just wondering if anybody has any type suggestions or perhaps of I'm missing something which is fantastic.
I am trying to use the media playback advanced photo album template and I am having an error. I have changed the directory for the photo's like the template says to do but the error I keep getting is:
ERROR #1088 : the markup in the document following the root element must be well form-ed. at myfilename_fla: : MainTimeline/frame1 ()
I am trying to use the "simple photo album" template that comes with Flash Prof. CS5. I have it working except I want it to play by default. The actionscript that came with the template is below (in blue), but if I set var autoStart:Boolean = true; I get the following error and the controls do not work:

The app sends an FQL query to get the user's albums, generates thumbnails based on cover_object_id. This part works fine. After clicking on an album the app loads photo thumbnails in the same fashion. We've just discovered that although it usually works, for some people and some photos instead of a thumbnail facebook returns the following error:

The photo thumbnail request URL:[url]....The query used to generate the list of photos in an album:

Essentially some photos return an error. The object_id of the photo is valid as it's pulled right from the FQL result - here is an example of an actual request that returns the error, complete with token https:/[url].......
Edit2: The above approach didn't work, for some reason. Some pictures would still result in an error. Fortunately the FQL tables had properties like "src_small" and "src_large" which return the direct link to the photos. Even though graph supposedly allows to retrieve any image using it's API I had to fall back to the src results from the query - I guess that was a patch of sorts for situations like this.
If you make multiple flash files from the same template and then edit that template, will all those files have those same changes? If not, is there a way to make the same change on multiple files at once? Basically the same idea as linking HTML files to a single CSS file...
i've got problem with adding a button to a template, so by default there are 4 buttons.i've localized in source move clip with buttons and animation, i've copied one of them and pasted, then i've changed the name from item for to item5. the data for buttons and web pages displayed by them are from the xml file, which code i attach. the problem is that even if i added 5 section [with the number 5 in systemOrder) the webpage doesn't display this content correctly, sometimes taking the value of previous button and sometimes showing just main frame, and instead of elements and texts from xml it shows "Undefined". I've search all the source using movie explorer and i havent found anywhere else connections with item4 / item5.

As flash professional does not have support of flash player 11 while testing project with ctrl+Enter, I can only test flash projects in browser so I cann't use trace to check things working, and I can't event integrate monster debugger in starling object, it does not trace anything. Does someone have solution for this, I mean how can I test flash project in browser?
Let's say I have some monsters in my game and they need to be generated randomly. They need to have some graphics and I am not sure what's the best way to do so. I have read a book where the writer used the time line to hold different images for cards for instance. The card class would then set it's content from the time line. In my opinion this really sounds like hard coding. Aren't there any better solutions to this like holding the images in an array or so.
I'm having two problems. First of all, the gallery loads all pictures at once. The more pictures in the XML file, the slower they all load. Secondly, I wanted the pictures to scroll in its _y coordinate, similar to Sugar Rhyme's website portfolio (see url]...).
I'm looking to add a Paypal button to my Template. It's an XML driven site, with actionscript as the code.
I went to a developer to generate the code for the actionscript for the paypal button and I don't know where to put it, and or how to add it to the already written template and make it show up on the various XML pages.
I've got a Loader that imports picture files from the .fla's directory...buttons open the pictures up.I need to know a quick and easy way to unload the pictures with another button...the only requirement is that the 'close' button cannot be visable when no pictures are being shown.url...

It works with a movieholder and the loadMovie command. It has 9 buttons, one for each picture, and they work. There's also a previous and next button to navigate through the pictures, there the loadMovie command gives problems. Here are 2 lines that are used in the previous button:
I've recently looked at the loading pictures dynamically video tutorial and wanted to further expand from it. So I got the picture to load once the button is pressed and my question is...Is there a way to click on the loaded picture to make it close? I basically have the loaded picture cover up my thumbnails so it's pretty hard to navigate to the other thumbnails once the picture gets loaded.

I have created a gallery that loads pictures from the server into a movie clip within Flash MX. This works fine. Now I have been asked to take those pictures that load dynamically and allow them to be a static image so that they can be clicked on enabling the user to view them at an enlarged state.Can I create a button that talks to the movie clip allowing the pictures being loaded to pull a pop up window enlarging it?

I created a photo album using XML and actionscript 2. When I test it out on my computer it works great. Just how I thought it would. But when I publish it and put on the server it decides to get a mind of its own. When the page loads the images will go in a random order but the title attributes I created stay just as it should.So basically image 3 will come up first and title 1 will be with it. I changed the the title to print the url that is being called and it will say the correct thing but show the wrong image.
I created a program that sends images to a server, use the browse function of a FileReference object to check the files when you click a button "send pictures. But I would like to open the program he ask for the files but do not know how.
I'm new at action scripting and found the outline of a script to use for creating a photo album. I was able to do most of what I wanted but unable to complete the final step and cannot figure out how to do it.
There should be 21thumbnails and corresponding full-size images available for viewing on the page below. Trace code confirms that 21 images in the xml file are called but the display in the scroll pane shows only the first 6, which is good, but there are no advancing buttons in the scroll pane to allow the viewer to go to the next image. How do I make this happen?
I'm designing my own website where I want to quickly organize photos into categories. Any recommendation on flash-based photo album (better free) that I can effortlessly insert into my website?
i do have another little snag, i am creating a basic MP3 player in flash so i can learn a little more of it. my sound is call currentMusic and i have been able to use the following to get the title, album, artist, ect ect. the code i was using was for that was

anyway it worked fine and all i want to know if there is a way to extract the album art i have stored in the mp3 and display it much like i could pull the title from the id3.
