Go into project explorer and can't see much AS so how the hwll are they getting the images and text into the flash swf. By the html??? I don't think so.

Apr 21, 2010Dear friends, I am a newcomer in action script and I'm in big trouble with a template (Monster 25,325) This product comes with a library in xml, but by default program, only 4 albums can be opened, I tried to add xml and other albums by I made the call button by the FLA, but No change occurred, and those that I number beyond 4 it does not open the larger images, they are miniature. What do I do? Sending down the Action Script Template. In all timelines.

Professional :: Text Fields Don't Show Up In Preview Hard To Edit Webpage Template (monster)?
Jan 9, 2012While I'm just a beginner right now it/I'm an experienced computer user and I have really enjoyed/but when I'm looking at it now I'm trying to use flash to edit a website template, for example monster templates. I bought a template from the site and nine trying to edit it now and well it just seems like it's a very very long process to do something kind of where I just want to look at the page and I want to edit the text and only I go to bed doesn't seem to be the case. So I'll show you what I mean.
When I'm using the program and I'm in Adobe flash I'm looking now at the screen inside the program and there's no text I see the graphics images and there's no text and also is that some type of way where it's easy to navigate link to link where I can just edit the text what supposed to be in there rather than search for the funeral push page up and down until I come across just a white background with tax and then have to edited which is pretty confusing because I don't know where that's located but I the general idea that if you change it but surely there must be an easier way.
So basically I'm including a screenshot that shows you exactly what I'm talking about. Basically once again I'm in fashion items Sandy text so it's kinda hard to see what was going on or whatever so you can see the snow text located in the thing but however when I publish the file yeah you can see the text and everything I'm kinda looking for some type of you well be able to see this and just edited really. I know there are other programs out there like SWF edited her or quick note to some like that. But I really wanted to use flash, unexperienced Photoshop user and I really love all Adobe products and I really think that this is the master program to use however I'm really don't want it as of right now it's been about 40 days and nine still a bit lost navigating through the program will I'm just really just China entities tax bills and just go through the site. Now I realize I should have the respect for beautiful program like this and it's not been a be set up to the way that I'm hoping it Siskind be a point-and-click editor I understand that. I'm just wondering if anybody has any type suggestions or perhaps of I'm missing something which is fantastic.
Editing Flash Website Template?
May 13, 2010So I have basic flash knowledge but not to much. I'm editing the majority of the template perfectly. When I want to test out how the changes are I export the it into a flash movie, than click on the index.html (which is linked to the flash movie) everything works fine.
Here is where the problem comes in, on one of the pages the template had a bunch of link that I do not want so I delete the links layer. When I do that and export the movie agian, everything gets screwed up it like flips out when I open the file and runs everything double speed than shuts down.

Editing Flash Website Template As A Novice?
Jan 17, 2010Completely new to Flash CS3, Photoshop CS4, Adobe Dreamweaver, but looking forward to learning about them.My question is this. I'm putting together a horse website and was going to use this templateQuestion 1.All I want to do is change the images to horse photos and change the layout of one of the pages. Considering that I'm a complete novice, is it straight-forward enough to be able to do basic editing of these type of templates and change the images?? Question 2:It states on some of this templates that the requirements for flash are Flash MX2004. Is this the same as Flash CS3. Can I use Flash CS3 for this

Apr 28, 2010I'm very new to flash and as3 design patterns. But I can read and write as3 quite ok, i've created small widgets with that. I've developed several web sites using php and also python.
Now for a educational cd-rom project i'm working on, i've basically designed all templates (A home page, a generic page with navigation and a sidebar - kind of like a wordpress blog). I have all the data for the cdrom on word files, which i intend to place on xml files.
My question is what is the best way to start a project like this? Can anyone guide me to a template or something that can be used for kickstarting this? kind of like a wordpress (without the admin)? Or am i on this all wrong?

With this template there was few fonts included in separate folder (I had to install them to view swf and edit fla correctly) after all my mods done I published it to swf file and opened local file with browser, everything was working perfectly at this moment. Then I asked my friend if it could upload it on his server to check if this website looks the same on the web. Oct 27, 2009I am using flash website template and editing with Flash CS4 and Dreamweaver. There are subwindows that open when clicking on menu buttons that have dynamic text elements. I am trying to change the text in these windows.I changed the names of the menu items that open these windows but the dynamic text is still displaying the old menu names as well as a numbering system(I.E. Services #1, Services#2, etc..) . I've looked through the content.xml, index.html, and of course the main.fla, How do I change the text displayed in these dynamic text elements?

The 5 menu names are inside the same movie clip called Menu01. however its the same movie clip in each place of each menu so when i go to edit in place each menu comes up with home. This works fine, but now I'm at the point where I want to also create a cookie for another ColdFusion template (called from fileReference.upload()) to be able to access later. I have tried several different methods for creating the cookie -- cfcookie, creating a cookie with JavaScript inside the ColdFusion function, and creating the cookie with JavaScript with an external interface once the coldfusion function returns to the flex result handler. All of these have been tried with a plethora of options regarding expiration, path, and domain tags.

Changing Website Template Text Buttons?
Jun 20, 2009I just started using Adobe Flash CS4. I am a newbie and do not have flash experience other than teaching myself how to do it. Problem. I have a website template that allows full customization and has 4 flashing text buttons on the header. Everything has been working flawlessly until this....When I go to change the text for any one of the text buttons it changes the text in all of the other text buttons regardless of what I do.

I have read a book where the writer used the time line to hold different images for cards for instance. The card class would then set it's content from the time line. In my opinion this really sounds like hard coding. Aren't there any better solutions to this like holding the images in an array or so.

ActionScript 3.0 :: Create Website With Flash?
Jan 21, 2009There are twelve buttons that onclick go to a certain page labled in the movie clip "pages." I am trying to figure out how to get buttons 9-12 to be on the pages movie so when people click button 2 the pages will display page2 but with button 9 on it and button 9 has an onclick that goes to page9. I have everything working for the 12 buttons on the first page but when i drag the button to the stage of the movie clip "pages" it does go to that page directed to. I had the correct label names down and everything. The buttons work find if they are on the main scene but don't work in the movie clip. To solve this problem i just kept them on the main page, I may try to put them in the mouse over on the main page to solve this problem. Ok first frame is has this code.
