Jan 8, 2012I am kind of new to the whole flash sceen and am getting a little bit frustrated with the snapping (I am used to Photoshop Snapping). I have a bunch of objects the exact same size as the stage and I would like to snap them to the stage (I am making a slideshow-rotating image). I always find myself having to zoom in extreamly to make sure the edge of my image is lined up with the edge of the stage... is there a way to snap my images to the stage.

Sep 16, 2010Im having multiple movieclips moving randomly and bouncing of the stage border, however, my problem is, first of all that the movieclips get half their body into the border on the right and top, and on the left and bottom the movieclip stops before the border. My other problem is that the movieclips have a tendency to get stuck in the border and just bounce rapidly along the border side. Im gonna asume that i only need to show you the code which the bounce back at border is created not to make the code to long (so hopefully im right):

CS3 :: Visible Text Box Border?
Jul 27, 2007I've been doing some simple text fades by keyframing the alpha values. Everything is fine on the stage, but when I publish it I can see a slightly translucent bounding box around the text. It's even visible on text I haven't animated. Focus Border Around Flash Movie?
Dec 14, 2009I have a very simple player which connects to a shoutcast stream. All it has is a play/stop button, and a volume control, which control a mp3 Playback Component.However, everytime I click anything within the flash movie, a little focus border appears around my flash movie. You know how when you press tab on the keyboard to switch between different elements in a program, such as different buttons, and that little dotted border appears on the button you are on? Well, that happens to me, and I am not sure why or how to get rid of it.

Imported PSD File Has Unwanted Border
Jun 22, 2010When I import a psd layered file I get an unwanted (red) border appearing around the art and as a box around the art. This doesn't exist in the psd file, but appears in the flash file. Should I convert and import it as something else? Is it a resolution setting in flash?

Sep 10, 2009I was working on a frame by frame scene when all of a sudden (I don't exactly remember what I did) borders show up around each brush stroke I draw like the figure shown here:
I tried turning off highlights (Ctrl + H), but the borders keep re appearing. Basically, I just want to revert back to the original selection mode as well as get rid of the borders after I draw my brushes like this figure shown below:
How do I turn off highlights / object borders permanently as well as enable regular brush selection?
Professional :: Border Around Embedded Swf Object In IE 8?
Jan 7, 2010I'm well aware of the Eleos/Microsoft issues that came before IE 8. However this isn't my problem. My company's website is able to display the swf file fine in FF but in IE, as soon as somebody clicks on the swf file, it does its thing without having to double-click (as in the ActiveX issue previously discussed) but also has what looks like a pink border around it. I'm testing in IE and created the Flash component in Flash CS4 using AS 3.0.Like I said before, the SWF object is activated on the first click, and doesn't have to do with the previously mentioned ActiveX control issue.

Aug 29, 2010I have a MainPage, on initialize I am calling a method which would create a SWFLoader object (aka LoginPage) and loads it in the MainPage. When we run the MainPage in 800x500 window, the LoginPage loads in that window size, however when we maximize the window the content of the LoginPage gets resized to 1027X660, but the border remains 800x500, and the remainig area of the window stays blank.
