So everytime variable "i" would change different background images would change their visibility at the same time.
1. I'm wondering if there is a way to use the loader to load in a series of pictures from disk rather than URL. If so what is the code for this?2. Is there a way to combine variables to create one single variable. Again if so how can I do this?I have included the code I am working on to give some clarity on what I'm trying to do.

I have an embedded image and the class name to be userd in source tag is a combination of 2 variables, how to do this, below is an iadea of what i am trying to do:

above is just a small simplified example of what i am trying to do, actually the variables are getting populated from list.Basically i want to combine variable names to form the embedded image class name to be used in source of spark image.
I have completely hit a wall. Here's what I'm after. I have two sets of radio buttons, each of which controls what loaded swf appears on stage. Then, depending on which button is clicked in group one and which button is clicked in group two, a third swf appears. I can access the value of each radio button, and I'm passing it into a variable (I think - the trace command works) but when I drop it all together into an if/else statement, no data is passed.

I have a XML banner slide show component that displays images and can also display .swf files. Each image displays for 3 seconds. It works like a charm with the images. But if I put a .swf file in the XML the .swf file will only display for 3 seconds as well. Which I understand why. The problem is if I want my .swf file to have a .flv that plays for 30 seconds it will only show for 3 seconds.
QUESTION:how to pull the length from a .swf file that contains a flv file so I can use that duration time to replace the 3 seconds variable? I just need the duration time of the .swf file. I know what else to do to replace the variables.
I want to embed some video into my HTML page. As background I want to use big picture. And above it I want to insert loop video with (i.e.) walking man.So, can I embed video (without flash and any player controls) in page?Can I decode video with transparent background? Is there any codecs which support transparent background (alpha-channel)?

I have come quite a long way and i have made a site in flash but i just have a question.I have been using an image as my background and i am happy with the way flash automatically scales all the objects in my file but the background image does not scale. Is there a way to do this? I have found out things online which show me how to add auto-resizing to the background but this knocks off the flash auto scaling/resizing for everything else.

The Die Antwoord site does pretty much what I'm trying to accomplish. I'd also like to know how they can use such high resolution images. If I try to use a high res image, the file size is enormous.I also want to do is to be able to change the background image when a button is clicked. What is the best way to do that with large images? Otherwise it is working all good, but I'd like it to stay put at the start. Right now it immidiately starts scrolling to right unless I move the mouse on top to stop it. So ye, i need to have it sitting still and only scroll when the mouse is at the edges of the document.

It seems that this should be a simple thing but I can't figure it out. I would just like my visitors to see a beautiful, still, jpg image in the space where my flash movie is loading...until it is fully loaded. I tried putting a background image in the cell (using Dreamweaver MX) but once I import the swf file, I can no longer see what's in the background.
When I select the flash movie in MX it only allows me to select a background color, not an image. I know that I can use a preloader of some sort to let people know there is flash content loading but I would rather use the opportunity to show a professional photo. Do I have to set this up the same way a preloader is set up but with a single frame maybe or is there an easier way.
