Why does the following display "first: undefined"?
ActionScript Code:

I created a same script of calling my flashvars in actionscript 3. But when I tried to display my flashvar in actionscript 2, its not working. I did the same thing in calling and embedding the swf. But it's displaying undefined..

I was just trying to display the value of the flashvar. I tested it in the browser but it's still not working.
I need to copy a 2 dimensional Array or Vector (8x8), the only success i have had so far is using 2x For loops actually assigning the primatives from one Array/Vector to another (works for 1 or 2, but on the scale i need to run this it is unsuitable).
After a bit of digging on the internet i saw that .concat() is the fastest and most code-efficient way to copy, but i can't seem to get it to work?

I already post this question in late December but didn't get a positive reply.How can I get rid of displaying "undefined" in fields and get instead blank fields?Is it possible to build a global function which could be applied to the entire .swf file?

I'm trying to make a flash animation but I'm getting these two errors: 1119: Access of possibly undefined property enabled through a reference with static type Class. (line 4) 1061: Call to a possibly undefined method addEventListener through a reference with static type Class. (line 5) This is the code I'm using:

My animation is a initial photo that turns around and becomes a black backgroud (were I'll add some text), now what I want is that the photo won't animate until I do a click in it. I used a Layer with a transparent image and converted it to a button and the export name is buti. The other to layers were converted to movie clips named preto and foto.
Does anyone knows why the output is "undefined"?:

i am using flash, .Net, and MySQL and have elements (text fields) posting in flash.Question is, if the table in the data base is not holding the var char how can I set the text field in flash to not show undefined and just be blank?

The part of "getValue" aint working and is giving me "undefined"
The combobox has a instance name: "myComboBox"

The ad on the bottom right of the screen (the one with lightning flashing) has an invisible button in its Flash file (CS5) linking to [URL]. This file is imported as SWF in Dreamweaver CS5.
The hyperlink works in Firefox, but not in Safari. Maybe it is just my computer.
I have developed a player in AS3. It is working if i provide the IP of the website. But, it is not working when i provide the full domain name. Even, i provide the crossdomain.xml for global access.

I am creating a website that has links to flash animations. i have created a folder called flash in the root folder and copied the relevant .fla, .swf and the .mp3 files into that folder. the animations are working fine but the audio isnt.it all works fine in flash itself.

am using bitmapdata to make me a nice lil' background image, and it works great...until it's resized. Whats happening is it's creating a new bgHolder clip on the resize, NOT resizing the current empty clip "bgHolder"Here's the code(taken from various posts)

View 2 RepliesI have started to put together a flash piece. When I preview it, it displays as it should, however if I export the movie and then view the swf it doesn't display the animations from within one of the folders. I have made sure that the layers aren't hidden.
View 10 RepliesMy SWF works well in all three browsers when tested on my local system: Firefox, IE and Safari.However,when tested from the server FireFox and Safari both do not complete a portion of the SWF motion.I have a number of dots that move in from different directions then line up followed by moving text and objects. in both Firefox and Safari the dots only begin to move then the SWF move on to display the other objects correctly.Am I looking at a timing issue or a loading issue?The site is [url].... view the top banner.
