Say for example the flash swf is on slide 30. When you get to that slide the flash plays and when it's done. Within the flash there is a button to advance to the next slide.Is this possible?

Mar 30, 2010I have a borderless video that is going to be on a website I'm designing. I can add the play, pause, stop buttons but I need to add an exit video button. The video is going to auto play when a user goes to the website. The video is placed directly over a form, so I need the user to be able to click the exit video and have the video disappear allowing users to use the text fields in the form. I have tried many methods, but to no avail.

Jan 26, 2012I'm creating a Flash Application that will be exported in exe format and it's not going to run in browser. I want to add an exit button inside stage but I don't know how to do that with ActionScript 3.
I remember that it was possible with fscommand in ActionScript 2 but it's not working in AS3.
I've searched everywhere but everyone is trying to close a popup or tab or window all in browser environment not a Flash app.

Sep 14, 2004I am using the video component player and it is working fine using this code:

The problem is, if someone is playing the video and goes to another part of the flash movie, the video keeps playing or loading in the background. The video image doesn't show, but i can hear the audio or see in the browser that it is still loading.
How can i kill the video from loading once the playhead moves from the frame that the video player is on (it is sitting on a single frame)?

Jun 20, 2006Here is what I would like to do: I have some buttons, then 2 movie clips named container and container2. When I click on a button, an external SWF is loaded into container. I have it working so that when another button is clicked, it plays the exit animation of the current SWF, then loads the new one. Here is the code that I used for that: on a button:

What I would like to do, is have a button in who.swf, that will load another external swf into container2, while leaving who.swf in place. Then, when one of the main buttons is clicked, I would like it to play the exit animation of the swf that is currently in container2, then play the exit animation of the swf that is currently in container, then load the new swf into container.

But always get the error:
SecurityError: Error #2018: System.exit is only available in the standalone Flash Player. at flash.system::System$/exit() at menu_fla::MainTimeline/sair_fc()
How should I do this?

Im trying to move from scene2 to scene3 when this "button" or movie-clip is clicked.I know that they are not entirely broken as they work when used to link to web-pages.I have also tried using frame labels and this variation on my attempt above:

The thing is: In the main page I have a manu you can choose to which movie clip to go. (The first frame on the main stage has a stop(); action in order to be able to choose). Flash CS3 Will Not Exit (Windows XP SP3)
Jun 2, 2009I have installed the CS3 on a Dell workstation with Windows XP SP3 and when I try to exit when finished, Flash will not exit. It seems like it is trying but will not close. There is no error, the program just sits there. You have to right click on the program and click close to get it to close. Then the program wants to send a error.

I know that with a traditional desktop, ESC of the keyboard and double click with left button of the mouse allow to exit from fullscreen (like youtube).

I am using player version 10,0,2,54.
I have also gone to sites where the fullscreen mode is demo'd and I cannot exit out of fullscreen mode with the escape key there as well.
Is this a known bug in player 10?
