What I am trying to do is create a window within the flash movie.Example I have three images on a products page. When you click on one of the photos I want a window to pop up within the MC.Also I would like a exit button on the page so when you exit out of the window you're still in the products page.

View 1 RepliesI have a borderless video that is going to be on a website I'm designing. I can add the play, pause, stop buttons but I need to add an exit video button. The video is going to auto play when a user goes to the website. The video is placed directly over a form, so I need the user to be able to click the exit video and have the video disappear allowing users to use the text fields in the form. I have tried many methods, but to no avail.

But always get the error:
SecurityError: Error #2018: System.exit is only available in the standalone Flash Player. at flash.system::System$/exit() at menu_fla::MainTimeline/sair_fc()
How should I do this?

im using movie clips as buttons, with the following code on them:

Im trying to move from scene2 to scene3 when this "button" or movie-clip is clicked.I know that they are not entirely broken as they work when used to link to web-pages.I have also tried using frame labels and this variation on my attempt above:

Lastly, my exit button is not working either, here is what I have tried:

I have a Flash GUI...I need to produce a product for delivery on CD/DVD and one of the requirements is for the application to "resume" from the spot where the user quit the application.The fact is, I found a way to do it and it was working perfectly...but once I edited the FLA and republished, the SO only resumed up to a certain point...and the only thing I added to the file was AS to disable the primary navigation buttons at certain locations.[code]

The movie starts with an intro and when that ends a "continue" button should appear and take you to the next part. My idea was to place a screenshot of the last frame in the next keyframe with a stop() function after the intro and add the button to that but it would be less work to make the button appear the end of the movie using some code I have no idea about

The thing is: In the main page I have a manu you can choose to which movie clip to go. (The first frame on the main stage has a stop(); action in order to be able to choose). And the code bring me back to the main page but start the specific movie clip I exit from all over again. How can I stop this loop?

The video located on its labeled section which has an "X" button which closes this section and brings a user back to the page with all the video sections. However once the labeled section with the video is closed the sound is still playing.Does any one know how to make it stop if the section with the video has been exited?Then go to HOW TO section and click on the link "here" for "The Arrangement" show it will bring you to the section with the video loaded as an "external video with play back component" in my Flash site.

I have been using code I recently found on Kirupa called Displaying a Centered Pop-Up Window.I have this feature attached to 6 buttons that pop up windows to different URL's. The window gets stuck on one size and completely ignores my attemps to change to a different size... like it's locked into my first code of 600 x 300. I have created buttons in banner part.The client has some big images related to his projects. He said that if a user clicks on the button named as enlarge view etc. The related image should get opened in new window(eg. like when we click on any thumnail image, the related image gets open in new window).So, i need a clear code to display the image in new window without any fuss.
