I designed a flash website for realestate client. I have saved my work & the related images in folder named as realestate. I have created buttons in banner part.The client has some big images related to his projects. He said that if a user clicks on the button named as enlarge view etc. The related image should get opened in new window(eg. like when we click on any thumnail image, the related image gets open in new window).So, i need a clear code to display the image in new window without any fuss. So please understand my problem & do reply me as soon as possible.

i want to rotate 3D an Image called img1 in Flex. I want to rotate it around y axis 180 degree. I can do this by using 3D effect already built in Flex but i want to do a bit more different. I want during rotating, there's another image called img2 appear on back of img1 (in default case, the image appear on the back is img1) and when rotating finish, the image will be img2.

I have been using code I recently found on Kirupa called Displaying a Centered Pop-Up Window.I have this feature attached to 6 buttons that pop up windows to different URL's. The window gets stuck on one size and completely ignores my attemps to change to a different size... like it's locked into my first code of 600 x 300. What I am trying to do is create a window within the flash movie.Example I have three images on a products page. When you click on one of the photos I want a window to pop up within the MC.Also I would like a exit button on the page so when you exit out of the window you're still in the products page.

Looking for getURL syntax /parameters that will let me open/display a specific page of a PDF in a new browser window.
Tried this, but it's not working:
pdf_btn.onRelease = function() {
getURL("pdfs/sample_file.pdf#page=605", "_blank")
}
The pdf file opens in a browser window, but not to page 605. It opens to page 1 of the pdf.

I have been created Flash Presentation for my client. I woun this presentation. But It will show only when user close the presentation. And it will appear for 20sec. and then disappear. I have did this in Macromedia Director few years back through lingo scripting. But I'm don't have much experiec in Flash. So I don't know whether it's possible OR not?

How can I display the vertical scrollbar in an .fla that is taller than the browser window?'ve created a file that loads thumbs from an .XML file and displays them in rows. You guys taught me how to do that and it works greatThe stage will be larger than a typical browser window and extends below the botom of the users' screen. When I test the file (in the environment) and when I publish it to HTML, no vertical scroll buttons are visible. The thumbs seem to be displayed properly except for the fact that the rows of thumbs go beyond the bottom of the screen and there is no way to scroll down to see all of them.When I publish just the .fla and manually embed it into an HTML page in Dreamweaver, the vertical scrollbar appears and works as expected.

I tried, but when i click on the button it showed-u r trying to connect with internet. Go for the settings.

I am kind of new to flash and used a template to build a flash website. One of my pages has links on it that when you click them open a pop-up text box. I've looked at the actions of the link to try to figure out how to add an image but can't seem to figure it out. The actions of the link also reference a text file. i got have a bunch of thumbnail sized movie clips that i can drag and drop. reason for this is its a shopping cart.i really would like to have a big preview available without having to link outside of the page not extremely large but larger for better viewing.i have no current code that works at all for me at this time other then the one that loads in a new window/URL which is not what i want maybe bring in image or image url to inside window would work.

I have this document in flash where I want an image to pan with mouse movement. When I test the movie it runs ok with any problem. But when I resize the window the position of the big image, it goes all wrong. I'm going crazy with this. Any help? I'll leave the link here so you can see the .fla document.

Above is the AS2 code that is being used per a set of 9 images that load as the main page of my flash site. Each image uses the same script and is being referenced from an xml file which tells flash what image to load.
My problem here is that when I hover over the images when they are loaded, they are clickable, and when clicked on, open a new window displaying the full image.
I do not want that. I just want it to pull the images up and stay like that.

I have a white stage and my background is non-solid/non-uniform. My flash project will be my whole website, therefore when a browser window is larger than my stage, the stage color (white) shows in the background. Its basically a white border on the left and right. I wish I could continue my background image to cover the whole browser window. What I want to do is: if needed (if the browser window is larger than my stage) continue my background on both sides by taking a copy of my background image, flipping it horizontally, and placing it on both sides of my background. If you can imagine it, this will give a more uniform continuation of the background. I'm guessing actionscript would be the best bet?

I have dynamic text in my movie that when clicked opens different image jpgs in _blank window. I would like to be able to have the blank window open at a set size so that when the link is clicked it doesn't open the image in a full window.Code:<a href='http://" + currAttribs.link + "' target='_blank'>Keep in mind that I'm not calling actual html pages but rather jpg files to open in _blank pages.

As you resize your browser window the background image resize proportionally. The content on the page does not resize however, it stays fixed. Also when you reach a certian size the background stops adjusting and the browser give you scroll bars.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around XML, in particular using XML to place an image on the stage.
I've got some code which I've appropriated from a tutorial, which creates a nice XML driven menu - And I would like to adapt it so that when I click on a menu item it displays a JPG (it currently calls up defined labels on my timeline, which is not really what I'm looking for)
I was looking for (lots of XML galleries tutorials, but I couldn't find an easy tutorial to display 1 image)
