I just made a class that fits a video to the fullscreen of the browser. I need some input on functionality of the class. What would you like to see added to the class. Though keep in mind that this is meant to be a backdrop to a site and not a video player. Link to class. [URL]

So the problem is that the stage's width isn't the full size of the browser. I'm using Flash Builder 4.6 is there a way to set the stage's parameters to allow for true full-screen?
In the projector I have links that open websites in a web browser window. When I play the projector on Mac, the browser window opens in front of the Projector's window, but on Windows, the browser is hidden by the projector's window

( clicking on an link that take's you to an external page gets blocked in FireFox3 )
I have an EXE flash project that has a menu with several videos in a little player. The player has a fullscreen button that makes the video go fullscreen. When the video is over, the widescreen video is frozen on the last frame and stays there. I need the player to automatically leave widescreen mode at the end of the video and go back to the regular menu player.
I'm using AS3 to call up the videos from the menu clicks, so I'm not scared to get into code using actionscript. I just don't know what to do.

It works perfectly as written. It scale the movie on resize perfectly and retains the proportions of the video. It doesn't fill the browser completely though when the proportions arent correct(leaving bars or the background color on the sides or top and bottom). I want it to scale proportionately, but fill the browser, so effectively some of the movie will be cut off.

I'm trying to get my main class to resize to the browser window size. I'm listening on the stage to Event.RESIZE, updating my width/height to match the stageWidth/stageHeight, and drawing a rectangle to show me how big it is. When I resize, it flashes between a small and big size every other time the event fires. The width and height are correct in both cases, but in the "small" case, everything is in a small box.

Go to [URL]. Click on "The Photos". It will pop up in a fullscreen window. Try resizing the window and you'll notice that the background is vector and it looks like the scale mode is set to "showAll". BUT, the photos look like they have a separate scale mode set to "noScale". They don't resize.

However, I�d like there to be a Fullscreen button on the playback component, which will allow the user to toggle the video fullscreen.I cant, for the life of me, figure out how to do this with various settings�it should be easy! I'm making a flash site, and i want it to load full browser with a "fullscreen"-button to go fullscreen. The problem, however, if i resize, the site will keep the same width-to-height ratio...But if i'm testing it using the flash debugger, everything resizes just correct...My html:

to open the page on default browser. Only problem is the browser window is opening at the size it was last used. I like to see it opens full screen.

View 5 RepliesI am building a flash video player with a custom UI, and admittedly I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing. I tried altering a skin, but that always comes out wonky due to whatever coding they use. So I'm altering single video components and putting them in the mc what I want them. It looks great, but the problem is that when video goes to full screen, all of the controls dissappear and I can't figure out how to make them show up. How do I get a movie clip to display on top of the video when it goes to full screen in flash AS3?

So DVD interface will contain three elements; user manual, a flash exe file and video.. Flash video window will be short-time video, playing like 5-10 seconds then repeats itself... I have a fullscreen flash .exe file. I want to be able to use the fscommand "execute" to launch an application "in front of" the fullscreen without escaping from the fullscreen. So it's like fullscreen with popups. I don't think it can be done, and some extensive research backs up my hunch, but I thought I'd run it by here and see if anyone has accomplished this.

have some ppsx files that I'm opening from a button on a fullscreen window. The first window opens fine, but if I go to open another ppsx file, it opens behind my fullscreen interface. Is there anything I can to do force it to open in front? I have a flash panorama that has hotspot links to pop-up windows that contain more information about the object. Right now if you are in fullscreen mode and click a hotspot you are automatically kicked out of fullscreen mode and the pop-up then opens. Is it possible to have the pop-up open and have focus while in the background the panorama is still in fullscreen mode?
