When I used hadleResponse function to handle Event butI only loaded a part of page source. Now I want to load all page source such as when we click right-mouse to firefox and select view page source.

I want to make it so that this pictures loads a different picture each time the page refreshes. View 4 RepliesI was build a ComboBox, and it's working ok. Im choose an option, and movie is loading to stage, but its load with full workspace that was previously exported. How i can hide everthing about my animation ? I have several animations in different size.
And second question, how make position of the animation on the stage ?

Each page has buttons that need linking so that when pressed it loads the next page or page that i want. View 2 RepliesI have a an unobtrusive flash video looping in the background of a website, it is not essential to navigation - it is purely cosmetic.The flash video loops every 30 seconds.As this video is on all pages, it jumps back to the start when a new page is loaded.Is there an actionscript / javascript way to get it to remember the position it got to on the old page so it can start there on the new page?I do know that this can be accomplished by loading the flash movie in a frame as well as by having the subsequent pages load the contents in AJAX but I was hoping not to go down this route.I have seen other people ask the question and allude to the solution but they only posted that they got it to work without saying how.

Im working on a website for school, and im doing it through flash. The server ive been given is being taken up by thousands of pages, so its slow. Instead of loading each page through HTML, ive decided i could do a seperate frame for each page. However, to reach the menu at the bottom, you have to scroll down. Is there any way to make it so that when you click a button to load a different page for the flash player to scroll up all the way to the top of the page itself?

I have a preloader but its taking too long to load, so is there a way where i can pick how much i want it to be loaded before it starts so the viewer doesnt sit there forever? I have a very Simple Flash Player built in AS2. FlashCS3 I want it to load one external movie from root folder. BUT! i don't want to load a specific file name. I need the player to load whatever the file names. for example: if my file name is: Video.swf i want the player load it. and if i change the file name to video2007.swf it will still be able to load it.

Read a local file (JSON format) into the AIR app. Parse through the file. Display some selected contents in a grid.
That's it.
I've found an example that does some simple JSON parsing in Flex, but the problem is that it loads the JSON source from a remote web site.
So do I need to load any file-specific libraries to make this work in AIR? Or can I simply refer to the file by using the Mac file-path? I just want the local file to be the JSON source. The parsing is already taken care of.

I want to be able to set it up and run it in flex builder and play with it for learning purpose.
I tried to use the import project option by pointing to the flexlib directory but it did not work - I think thats because the source by default does not have any .project or properties files.

View 1 RepliesI'd attached one preloader.zip file in that there is FLA and SWF file is there now when you run the source file after completing the preloader to 100% it load test.swf file, now you export the file to preloader.swf and when you will run the preloader.swf file it will run properly but when you put this preloader.swf file into html file and after that you open this html file what will happen that after loading 100% preloader it will not to load test.swf file from html file.
View 3 RepliesWhen i insert the flash menu it basically dosent fit into the alloted space i gave for my horizontal navigation bar, when inserted it blows apart. the only thing i could think of was resizing the flash document but then i cant see the menu expand it gets cut off,

I'm currently trying to use the FLVPlayback component and pass a source FLV that's living on a cloudfront webserver. The problem is that the cloudfront requires authentication in the form of query strings in the source FLV. For example:[code]It adds on "&FLVPlaybackVersion= 2.1" to the end.I saw a different article that said I should add a dummy variable at the end like "&dummy=.flv" because I was told that Flash is basically looking for an .flv extension at the end and you can trick it, but it doesn't work because they add on additional code.
View 9 Repliesi have a Air Project in which i have added three extenal source folders. but when i reopen project or strat flash builder again i get icon on those folder like this but when i open the configuration for that project and try to validate the path and adding it again i get message like this but the path is valid. proof is this pic what could be possible error,,, is there any way that i when ever re-open project i get no warning and able to navigate through the linked source code. now i am doing it
1- deleting on of the linked folder
2- again adding that folder.
So inside my src folder I have my app.mxml file. I have a source directory pointed to my actionscript library.It appears that Flex does not look inside that source directory including an .as file within the master mxml file.

i sort of asked this before but never got a clear responce to it. this is sort of a two part question. one i have a dynamic gallery of images with a small picture that you click on that loads a bigger picture. I would love to be able to just have one photo that loads into the bigger mc and also the small mc. right now what i am doing is making two size photos a small 47x47 and a large141x141. does anyone know how i can use the same photo for both mc's second question. if that works will it make the small photos take forever to load since their sorce is a large photo?
