ActionScript 2.0 :: Run The Source File After Completing The Preloader To 100% It Load Test?

I'd attached one preloader.zip file in that there is FLA and SWF file is there now when you run the source file after completing the preloader to 100% it load test.swf file, now you export the file to preloader.swf and when you will run the preloader.swf file it will run properly but when you put this preloader.swf file into html file and after that you open this html file what will happen that after loading 100% preloader it will not to load test.swf file from html file.

So i have a drag and drop game that has five answers that you drag to each approriate question. What I'm trying to do is, after they successfully dragged all of the answers to their questions, a button appears which allows the users to proceed onto the next part of the module.
In a very simple first AIR application (I'm using Flash Builder 4.5), I am trying to accomplish the following on my MacBook:
Read a local file (JSON format) into the AIR app. Parse through the file. Display some selected contents in a grid.
That's it.
I've found an example that does some simple JSON parsing in Flex, but the problem is that it loads the JSON source from a remote web site.
So do I need to load any file-specific libraries to make this work in AIR? Or can I simply refer to the file by using the Mac file-path? I just want the local file to be the JSON source. The parsing is already taken care of.
I would like a button to create a preloader and load a swf file.this is what i wrote in AS.it tells me that script is ok so I'm not sure what is the problem.
I am currently working with Flex 4. I successfully use custom preloader by s:application ... preloader="path"..., but i want the preloader to load external file as well, can it do that? How can i call the variables in the preloader?
I'm constructing a website in flash, and on each page of the website I have a dymanic text field pulling data from a .txt file for that page, (the news page has a dymanic text field called "newsText" which pulls data from "news.txt" for example) The website im working on is here: [URL] If you have a slower internet connection, whenever you click on the link to a new page, a small white square will appear in the corner before the content has fully loaded, this white square is a result of the scrollbar being disabled due to the content not being loaded yet (and thus having nothing to define wether or not it should need to scroll)
as the website grows in content this will become more and more of a problem. My actionscript ability is really limited. So whats the simplest way I can add a preloader to the page to load the content of the .txt file before displaying it?

Everything is working fine, except for the preloader, which only seems to load after the entire file is 100% loaded, which leaves people who visit the site staring at a black screen for quite some time... The code on the preloader frames is as follows:

Also, if you want to check out the actual program just click when you get to the main screen and click to create new shape (mouse x and y change opacity and speed respectivly) I'm using actionscript 2
I have created a preloader, and I want to tell the action script of the preloader once the file is done loading, put it away and load a new movie, or even a new flash file if i have to.here is the action script i have on the loader right now. Its just numbers counting from 1-100% and a .gif clip that plays but they are not connected in any way.
I have an as3 preloader on the main timeline of my project1.swf It works ok if I test the swf by itself, but when I try to load it into my portfolio file through component loader, the preloader doesn't do anything, it acts as if everything is loaded. What do I need to change to get it to work inside another movie?
how to test my preloader in CS5. When I look under Control - Test Movie, it doesn't have an option for Simulate Download, and when I just do a regular test, I see nothing.
how a download is simulated to be able to test the preloader. I tried view>Download settings as stated in the help file, but I couldn't find download settings under view. My Flash version is "flash CS3 provessional, version 9"
i created another site, and when i test it it works fine, but when I try to test the preloader, the preloader works, and then it goes to frame 5 and some of the buttons are missing!?
I tryed to do this several times, and it didn't worked. The main problem is that if I test simulate the movie (56Kb) the preloader doesn't work. First it loads the entire file, then it loads the preloader which is not needed then, and the 2nd scene after that.

I have a very Simple Flash Player built in AS2. FlashCS3 I want it to load one external movie from root folder. BUT! i don't want to load a specific file name. I need the player to load whatever the file names. for example: if my file name is: Video.swf i want the player load it. and if i change the file name to video2007.swf it will still be able to load it.

Now, the progress handler is tracing out that the file is being loaded, but it never triggers the the Event.COMPLETE event. Tracing out the Loader.loaderInfo returns null in functions.
I want to be able to set it up and run it in flex builder and play with it for learning purpose.
I tried to use the import project option by pointing to the flexlib directory but it did not work - I think thats because the source by default does not have any .project or properties files.

I am a programmer who is working with a client's flash designers. Most of my client's personnel have CS3. I recently upgraded to CS5 due to another contract that I am working on for a different client. Will I be able to modify my CS3 designer's .fla file, save and hand back to them to finish designing?? Will they be able to open up my modified document?

Have recently made a few educational activities which are experiencing performance problems on older machines. Basically, tweens are not completing and causing things to behave strangely.I don't think it's the well-known garbage collection problem with tweens not completing as I use TweenMax for all the tweens. Also, on any half-decent machine, everything works correctly but if tested on an old laptop it all goes a bit wrong.
EDIT: I've not got around to adding a pre-loader yet so things might take a while to download..
I'm currently trying to use the FLVPlayback component and pass a source FLV that's living on a cloudfront webserver. The problem is that the cloudfront requires authentication in the form of query strings in the source FLV. For example:[code]It adds on "&FLVPlaybackVersion= 2.1" to the end.I saw a different article that said I should add a dummy variable at the end like "&dummy=.flv" because I was told that Flash is basically looking for an .flv extension at the end and you can trick it, but it doesn't work because they add on additional code.
I am a Java programmer and I can read and edit most anything I get my hands on. I don't work much with flash and when I do there is no reason to look at any sort of source.I received a file from someone to add to a project and the instructions were to open the .fla in CS5 and edit certain lines to pioint to directories . The file is and interactive app type.I have tried doing this but I am at a loss. I had thought that I would just be able to view some source in the file and edit those lines and export the ,swf, but I can see nothing like that.
