Mar 3, 2011I'm trying to prevent a default chart item roll over highlight in a Spark column chart.If you look at any of the chart examples on this page , when you roll over any of the chart series items, they turn a darkened shade of their original colour. This is what I want to prevent.
So far I have had no luck with using the itemRollOverColor property, as this only allows you to set it to one specific colour for the whole chart (my app has several different coloured series on the chart at once). Also, trying to leverage the itemRollOver event (with preventDefault() etc) hasn't worked either.

Jan 10, 2011I'm trying to make chart which is combination of bar and line chart using Flex Charting API . Here x axis would be common and y axis would be different. note that y axis got different range of value one is % and other is amount. Any one got idea how to make this chart. Here line chart would be staked on top of bar chart . The line chart and never over laid or drawn on top of bar chart.

I have used tools from swftools (specifically the swfextract program) but it doesn't suit my use case as it extracts individual elements (shapes, movieclips, frames etc) which is not too useful.

Flash :: CFChart Not Displaying All Chart Data Items?
Feb 25, 2010I am having an issue with ColdFusion's CFChart tag. I have a couple graphs that do not display properly. For a horizontal bar chart, when attempting to display 50 or more chart data items, the graph's bar labels stop plotting, but keeps plotting the bars themselves once it gets to bar number 50. I noticed making the chart height larger makes the issue worse as well. If i go from 1000px pixels to 2000px, it stopped plotting labels even sooner. The query that populates the chart items do not return blank label names either. See the screen below, the labels should keep plotting after "7 to 1".
I am running on ColdFusion 8 Developer Edition. Is this a possible limitation for ColdFusion's native charting capabilities? Or should I consider checking out Flex Charting instead?

Everything is dynamic. chart is generated using Open flash chart and are dynamic using php Mysql
All working fine. Problem here is that is takes some time to generate flash chart. So it's creating a blank image or image in middle form flash file exporting it to PDF.

Nov 24, 2010I want to draw stock price in real time as a candle graph. I get open flash chart from someone and it looks good at drawing. I don't know how to update the candle graph in real time (using Ajax?), and is it a good way? I use Python a lot. But I cannot find tools as easily to use as OFC.
