You can even press ctrl+enter to play. My searches just come up with solutions to the right-click menu, and I have a client who wants me to get rid of this menu for a game I've already made.

Aug 15, 2005I'm trying to disable the right-click menu for an application I created for the PocketPC(PPC). A projector file was not recognized by the PPC, so I cant use the functions within it. Would someone please educate me on disabling it. By the way - the right-click menu pops up on the PPC when a user touches the screen for an extended amount of time (~1 sec), rather than just a quick tap.

Mar 14, 2009the attached menu has functions for onRollover, and onRollout, however I was wondering if it was possible to create a function for onRelease that would mean that once the menu item was selected, the onRollout would not set the menu back to original color and would leave it highlighted so users could see that this was the page were on via the menu.It is saved in CS3 as I work with CS4 and it does not seem to let me save it back for 8 or earlier versions.

Jun 20, 2010Basically, I have a button and on click it displays a menu. I want to click that menu a second time and the menu closes. Currently, every time you click the button, the menu reopens. I pasted the Flex livedoc example below. If you click the button, the menu keeps reopening.Now, I rigged it up by setting a var to open and closed, so when clicking the button it does a check. However, if you click away from the screen, the HIDE event gets dispatched, and the menu closes. This messed up the open close var being set.
How could I make this Flex example below show the menu on button click, and then on a second button click, it closes the menu? Take into affect that if you click away from the menu, it closes it.Also, I played around with the MOUSE_DOWN_OUTSIDE event for the button and set the preventDefault, and the FlexMouseEvent event.cancelable is set to false.Changing to a PopUpMenuButton is not an option. I have to much skinning involved.Here is the Flex example:

how to change this back? It's a little difficult to work with images when all you see is an outline of the image's dimensions.
Swf Shows Online As A Blank Box (CS4, .xml)?
Mar 15, 2010I'm trying to make a simple Flash application to be placed on a web site. It is intended to take data from an .xml file and display it in the Flash movie. There are a number of buttons that display different nodes of the .xml file when clicked. (Not all the buttons are functional yet in this code; I know that.)It runs just fine in Flash. It even runs fine when I publish it and then run it by clicking on the html file on my computer.When I upload the html and swf files to my server, the html file works fine (gives me a solid colored background) but the swf is just a white box, nothing in it and no functionality.Something needs to be declared, imported or linked, I think, but I do not know what or how to do it. (Most irritating is the fact that the code is substantially taken from an online tutorial, with nary a word about this issue.)
