ActionScript 3.0 :: Make Multi Ple Textfield At Runtime On Mouse Click?

My problem is i have to make multi ple textfield at runtime on mouse click. when mouse is clicked a text field is created. i have done this part. but when add any listner to change the property color, size by combo box( i have make).It change only last one textfield property .
I want to do if i make three textbox at run time . then if i select second on only secone one is selected and all property apply on that
I have a question regarding the use of mouse clicks events in a multi-dimensional array (or a "2D" array as we refer to them in Java and C++).
Background
I have an array of objects each with a corresponding mouse click event. Each object is stored at a location ranging from [0][0] to [5][8] (hence a 9 x 6 grid) and has the specific column and row number associated with it as well (i.e. tile [2][4] has a row number of 2 and a column number of 4, even though it is on the third row, fifth column). Upon each mouse click, the tile that is selected is stored in a temporary array. The array is cleared if a tile is clicked that does not share a column or row value equal to, minus or plus 1 with the currently targeted tile (i.e. clicking tile [1][1] will clear the array if there aren't any tiles stored that have the row/column number
or any contiguous column/row with another tile stored in the array, meaning that the newly clicked tile only needs to be sharing a border with one of the tiles in the temp array but not necessarily with the last tile stored).
Question
What is a clean, tidy way of programming this in AS3? Here are a couple portions of my code (although the mouse click event isn't finished/working correctly):
I just started playing around with as3 and I have a function for mouse clicks that draws a shape on each click. However the mouse click event does not appear to work unless I click a movieClip object I placed in the middle of the screen. Is there a way to make the mouse click event recognize when I click anywhere on the screen?
I'm trying to figure out how to make an object move vertically or horizontally a set distance once the object has been mouse clicked and then stop. Sounds relatively simple, but I'm pretty clueless at it.
I'm doing some application on the multitouch, everything is working fine, everything can be rotate, expand (pinch) but only one problem...all my text field disappear when I rotate it... but somehow the textfield will reappear when I rotate it back to its original angle (180 degree)...
can anyone tell me what to do so that my textfield will not disappear when I rotate it?

i am trying to make a drawing board(like colouring book) where when i click and MOVE THE MOUSE it colours the object(more like a brush and not as a paint bucket)i would like to know how to colour objects individually(without coloring background) and the most IMPORTANT is there any way to detect what percentage of object had been colored(like if 100% of object coloured something happens!)
I am sending a dynamic multi-line textField text to a database. Upon receiving it back, it doesn't display it in multi-line format properly. I am also using htmlText, so it stores it all the font / size /etc in the database perfectly.This code shows you the textField attibutes, both the text I create and send to MYSQL, and the text I get back also calls upon these exact attributes
when I called upon the text from the database. It at least made it multi-line, but it messed it up a bunch also. My text is only 3 lines, but with wordWrap, it made it 8 and made it look off.Anyway, the text / font / color and everything comes in perfectly, except for the multi-line part.

I am trying to make an object tween from its starting location to the location of a mouse click. I have a script, but it has a very annoying ease to it.I would LIKE the object to mantain a certain speed during while traveling from its starting location to the mouse click location.
I'm trying to find out how to make a simple image gallery which changes image upon a mouse click on a button, when a button is pressed I want the image to slide in from the left into the viewable area and then when another image is selected I want the previous image that was viewed to remain in the screen and then the new image slide across over the top to replace the image.
I can get the images to slide across from the left upon a mouse click however I can't change the layer order so if image 6 is viewed and then I click to see image 1, the image will slide into place however it will be below image 6 so therefore not viewable.
I don't have an example of what I'm after but I hope my explanation was good enough, I've seen this been done in javascript but I have to use flash and am unable to replicate the effect I'm after
change the font of a Textfield at runtime. I know how to embed fonts into an SWF and I know a little bit about the TextFormat() Class, but I can't seem to be able to change fonts when there is text already in a dynamic or input TextField
I can't get my text to show in a text field created at runtime within a movieclip on _root. I use a trace statement and it loads into the Output box but is not visible in the textField area. there are no masks in the movieClip.

I have AIR application that i have created. One of my customers wants me to give him a CD that will automatically install the application with computer that has no AIR runtime installed.
How can i create an automatic installer that can install the AIR runtime and my AIR application easily?
I have made a jigsaw puzzle game, that can be scaled up to have lots of pieces. Now I want to implement it so it can be played by more than one person at a time on a large multi-touch screen. I'm not sure how is best to proceed.
Ive had a look at some development kits and some tutorials and they seem to go into too many gestures etc. I literally only need the capability to move more than one piece at a time. So is it possible for flash to simply deal with this as multiple mouse down events rather than going into multi-touch gestures etc. Or do I need to do it another way?
how can i make a movieclip and a textfield to resize to the content of the text in the textfield? I mean, if I have a textfield with 3 letters font name XXX and then the content of the field change, how can i resize te textfield so the text dont autoadjust to the 3 letter space?

The main problem is that every type of sweeping on the screen also fires the taphandler().. how to identify the correct event? I tried to to my taphandler only if(!event.buttondown) but no success.
I'm trying to embed fonts at runtime in actionscript and it somewhat works. I can embed fonts by either using the embed tag or by loading a font library asset with a linkage name and use it with a new TextField. However, a textfield that exists on a movie clip already does not have the embedded font and is missing characters.

I want to embed the font at runtime and I'm loading multiple SWFs and I don't want to embed the font in each SWF.
I am looking for a way to simulate a mouse hover/mouse click. What's happening is a bar is autoscrolling and checking to see if there is an active button 'below' it. Sort of like a bar rolling along a music staff and checking for notes.
