I need help making a few of my buttons open images, I need the images to basically pop-up full size, and with a click on the image, it goes away. I require some sort of framework script for this

for example-image 1- no button but image 2 has the button, image 3-no button, image 4 no button.... and so on.

I ma having trouble making a button inactive once a particular image is loaded.I have a portfolio section that has images loading in succession with each click of a button (the forward button)i have another button (a backward button that scrolls through the images in reverse in succession wit each click of the backward button, Problem is the button is active even when it scrolls through the images to the first image. I get the following message in the output panel:[code]I want the button to be disabled hen it gets to the first image thus stopping at the first image Or to the able to scroll through the images in reverse indefinitely just like the forward button - able to scroll through the images forward indefinitely.[code]

I just started out using autoscript 3.0. What I want is that when I click a button (with an image inside) it opens a new window with an enlargement of that image. I've already done the following:
1. Create new button
2. Set it's instance nam to appinvent_btn
3. Created new action layer.
4. Set up the following script in actionscript 3.0

I have created one static movieclip and in that movieclip i have created "i" dynamic movieclips.On the dynamically created movieclip i am loading swf(Swf consists of a Preloader and then image appears).All these swf values and link(url) values i get by parsing an xml string in the FLA itself...Now the problem starts here...There are links on these dynamically loaded swf's....And I have given static rollover effect on the swf by making image as a button..Now what happens is that i have written onRelease Function in code and in that i m getting link on images(SWF) using getURL in on EnterFrame function and i am not gettin the rollover effects that i have created in static.
View 2 RepliesI would like to make a flash movie with a picture, where when the user holds down the mouse button, part of another picture will emerge in that general area (like a magnifying glass looking into another dimension).
Technically, my idea was to make a flash file with two images, and then code the mouse to be able to make the top picture transparent in a circle-like area around the cursor, while the mouse button is down.
But how to do that? I am using Flash CS4, but I don't really care if the solution is in AS2, or AS3, as long as it works

This works fine in Firefox but in IE it doesnt work, I then change the /v/ in the youtube link with /p.swf?video_id= and now I have the window open showing the small youtube thumbnail of my video but once a click play, nothing happens, I check it and is not loading anything.

View 6 RepliesHave had a flash site created for a disc that works perfectly. Every component of the site works just as it is expected to.
But when I upload the site to a server on the Internet, one component does not work. When you click on the link an image should open in a popup window. The popup window opens but the image does not appear.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to figure out why it works on the disc and not on the server.

I'm trying to set up a button that will open a dialog box, let me browse to an image on my hard drive and display it in my swf. Has anyone seen an example of this before? I've been having a look at fileReference but don't think it's what I need.

Above is the AS2 code that is being used per a set of 9 images that load as the main page of my flash site. Each image uses the same script and is being referenced from an xml file which tells flash what image to load.
My problem here is that when I hover over the images when they are loaded, they are clickable, and when clicked on, open a new window displaying the full image.
I do not want that. I just want it to pull the images up and stay like that.
I have an image contained within a slideshow with a rollover attached to it, when you click the image a larger image within the same movie clip appears. This layer is below my navigation layers for my website so when I click on the image it is below some of the navigation layers and logo. Is there a way to make this appear on top of all of the other layers without actually moving the layer up. I'm using Flash CS3 and Actionscript 3.0.
