I'm having a conundrum. I am trying to duplicate the link effect: http:[url]....The thing about that is that I am trying to create this for an HTML site as link transitions for a client. My issue is that the swf has to maintain size on ALL browsers and sizes. I've tried setting the html object sizes to 100%, but the video is smaller. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

to open the page on default browser. Only problem is the browser window is opening at the size it was last used. I like to see it opens full screen.
i have exported my swf's with fetch, however my index file isappearing to be encapsulated in a white boarder inside the browser screen. How can I change this soit fitts the whole screen.?

The videofile (video1a.swf) uses the Flash FLV Playback component 2.5 (size 320 x 240) and the source movie is external (video1a.flv). The videoloads and runs fine but enters in full screen despite I have configure the component to exactFit. Any way to make it stay to 320x240?
My task is to show a video player in a full screen mode. Ihave no problem doing that but I need it to perform in a such a waythat only video scales to the full screen while other objects(player controls) remain unscaled. If I just go to the fullscreenmode - everything on the stage is scaled up naturally.Playing with the full screen features I could come up withthe only solution which is to calculate a scaling factor (based on,say, stage.width and stageWidth) and adjust player controlsdimensions and position accordingly.Is it the best way to preserve objects sizes or there is abetter technique?I hoped that because each display object has it's own stageand I could show full screen only video by doing something like:
_video.stage.fullScreenSourceRect = screenRectangle;
_video.stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;
but it still expands all the objects.

View 1 RepliesSo ive been asked to build a page for a real state company and the guy told me it should be similar to these [URL] Ive been trying a couple of weeks so far, but i dont seem to find a way to do somthing similar, i mean, i want to have the welcome screen as those two:
- the gradient background
- flash occupies whole screen no matter what size it is
- gradient expands sideways infinately
- no matter what height my explorer window is, gradient is always in the same position relative to top, and if i keep expanding downwards the background keeps last colour of the gradient.
- the brand logo looks as if it had top, left and right anchors, and it also limitates the minimum width of the explorer window
i though of addind a 3000 x 3000px square with the gradient and centering it, but i know there has to be a professional way of achieving that.
I am developing an AS3 application (not a Flex one) using Flash Builder 4.5. My application can set its graphical components automatically according to stageWidth/stageHeight. My problem is with the actual application size. If I do not specify width/height in the SWF meta tag, my application is compiled according to the default (550x400?). If I do specify (for example 800x480), I won't be able to support other resolutions correctly.
Is there a way to tell the compiler to see the application size according to the device's/stage's sizes?

I'm trying to print a movieclip from flash. I'm using the PrintJob pageWidth and pageHeight properties to scale the clip to be as large as possible. Also, I'm trying to center the movieclip on the page.Now, in the standalone player, this works. Recently i have visited so many video enriched flash site like this one [URL] Most of them shows video in full size. I downloaded the video using FF plugin. Video framesize is very small compared to the stage size. When i tried to add video and resize the video acoording to the page size , it slows the browser. I tried to embed the flv inside an swf and loaded the swf using normal loader and plyed it.. but the quallity and performance comapred to these site is very low..

I just can't figure out how to make the video as well) And obviously an external video so the flash file wont take forever to load.The point is this is to be able to have the Video be the background. The size of the video is 1080 (width) x 1500 (height) pixels.I've exported the video in After Effects with the standard settings for flash (File>Export>Adobe Flash Player(SWF)). Now when I import the video in Flash and preview the file, the video plays in a slower speed and it's not playing smooth at all...Is the video too big? Is there a maximum video-size to keep the video running correct in Flash? Is it something else that causes this problem..?

I'm tweaking the video code found here [URL] His progress bar starts at the edge of the stage. My progress bar starts at x=40 into the stage. My problem is that even though all my mcs related to the progress bar are positioned properly the scrubber mc hops to the edge of the screen when the video starts. It also acts as if the progress bar you scrub though is at the edge of the screen too. I can't figure out why it's doing this. There's nothing in the code to tell it to do as such.

I created simple swf. It contain more than one video (for example 4). FLVPlayback component used to play the video.It works fine. When i enter full screen of the first video it shows the fourth video. If i did continuously means the component size changed automatically.

We've just implemented thickbox/lightbox system on it now so when you click on the video it enlarges into that new frame. Problem is, when that's done the video/audio is still playing while the video in the thichbox is playing too. This leading to ineffective listening. Does anyone know a code that would trigger the video to pause when clicked anywhere on the video screen?
