May 21, 2010When the page for thsi site [URL] loads the background behind the flash document is white. Is there a way to change this so that it matches the page background?

Jun 10, 2011I am facing some problems with publishing of flash file. After publishing at HTMl; it shows white border at all sides of document. My document size is Width :- 1280 Height : 650. It is adding border on all sides border at top and bottom are greater than that of Left and Right. I have tried it many ways, altered my flash setting as well but no use. I am really stumped due to this. To my surprise at SWF file it showing perfect match and fit exactly into window (not showing any borders like HTML) I dont know exactly from where it is getting white borders. Professional :: All Of A Sudden The Flash Item Has A White Background?
Sep 18, 2007I've changed nothing that I know of in making flash slideshows using swish and exporting to .swf format for inclusion in Dreamweaver except that now all of a sudden the flash item has a white background -- but only on my computer it seems when testing online; locally, it doesn't do that when testing and when using a different computer it doesn't do that. Any idea why a flash item would have a white background in some cases and not in others like that?
Like I said, I've changed nothing and have never had to put any parameters in place or do anything else of the kind; the swish program itself specifies the background as red, not transparent (not that the page the flash item is on has a white page anyway). I don't know if this is a swish, flash, dreamweaver problem or some bug on my particular computer that I can't figure out.
Professional :: Separated Symbol From White Background But Now It Has Bits Left - How To Clean Up
Feb 21, 2012I have a photo turned symbol on a white background. I'm not sure how I did it but I separated the symbol from the white background. but now I have all these bits around the edges left over that are white and I don't know how to clean it up. I tried the eraser, I tried painting over it, I tried selecting it to cut or delete. not one of these things worked.

Mar 8, 2010I am colorblind.I need to change either the color of the background or the color of the text on the layers section on the Timeline.I simply cannot read/see what is currently showing.It is a very light blue background with white text and white dots for seeing, locking, or setting the outline color.I need to either change the text color and dots to black so I can see them, or try to change the background color to a dark blue so I can read the white text.Changing the text color would really be my preference. Adobe hasn't been very concerned about colorblindness when developing these products. I can barely make out all the light grey/grey/dark grey/grey stuff.

Jan 25, 2010I have tried changing background colour to Black #000 in all fields but the white background is still there before Flash shows up on the page.
I am embedding the Flash in a html page using CSS to have it align center middle. I think that's where the problem is.

Flex :: Image Object White Background Showing?
Aug 3, 2011I have an Image object that gets resized to the containers size when the image loads.The images that it will load are dynamic in size so after resize I end up with a sliver of the image object's white background showing.How can I make the Image object not have a white background and be transparent.Parts of the PNG's have transparent parts but show up as white due to the white background of the object is it loaded into.

It seems that when i remove the FileStream code the flash swf file works on the HTML page but when i revert back to add the FileStream libraries and code the flash flickers in IE 8 and Mozilla displays a Blank screen. Nov 19, 2010I have converted a large background image (much larger than the stage) into a Movie Clip. I did this so I can make it scroll as the player traverses to the edge of the scene.This appears to make the player free to roam the entire background image.I have a tree symbol with a class attached to it that blocks player movement.Here is my problem:
When I drag and drop instances of the tree symbol onto the background, the trees are stationary and do not scroll with the background.I do not want to have to implement code to make the trees scroll when the background does.I was wondering if there was a way to simply attach the trees to the background so that if the background moves, the trees move with it and appear to be part of the background as if they were drawn into it.It is convenient for me to be able to drag and drop as many trees as i need to block certain routes on the background from the player.I tried writing code to make the trees move but it was only working for the very last tree that I added to the scene.
Professional :: Slideshow Shows Up On One Page, But Not Another
Jul 10, 2010I am working on a site, and I have an issue that I cannot resolve.

If you click on the "Issues" link, you will see a slideshow comes up.
If you click on the "Campaign" link, you will a page come up with links on the side, and a bare space to the left.
In the blank space, there is supposed to be a slideshow to come up. When I test the site on my computer, it comes up perfectly fine. But, when I load it to the server, it does not show up.
The ONLY difference in these pages is that the "Campaign" page is a scrollable page, where as the "Issues" page is not. I have tried to resize the scrollable page, and move it to the right side of the page, but it makes the text unreadable- even after resizing the box, and such. I have tried to change the slideshow into a symbol. I've tried a couple of other things, but to no avail.

Feb 21, 2010URL...The problem is with the flash banner at the top. It was created with a utility for creating banners and displays in firefox without any problems. In IE 8 there is white space to the right and I cannot get rid of it anyhow.

Apr 29, 2010I was at a friend's house and wanted to show him our website. When I navigated to it, about 10% of the area outside of the stage was visible. It was almost as if the swf had been shrunk by 10%, but still within the stage area (750px x 600px). I'm not sure what's causing it, but I've seen it happen once before with a computer here at our office.
It always seems to happen with Internet Explorer. When we right-clicked on the swf and choose "show all" it filled the area and looked normal. I've never encoutered the problem using Firefox and only some of the time when using Internet Explorer. Not sure if it just happens with a certain version of IE or what.[URL]..
Professional :: Export Progress Bar Shows, But No SWF Appears?
Sep 21, 2011I'm using windows Vista 64 bit (work machine, not personal) with Adobe CS5 production premium. I have this training I created in flash and it used to export just fine.I was able to test and everything, but lately, it stopped doing that. I hit CTRL+enter, and it won't give me a SWF file. I hit debug it says it can't find the swf. I looked in the folder where everything is for the training, and sure enough, there is no SWF file there. I tried hitting CTRL + enter and watching the folder. The SWF file appears while the export progress bar is going, but the second the bar is done, the file vanishes. For a while, if I went into File and hit Export Movie, it worked, but even that's stopped working.

Oct 21, 2010I have a Flash website with 5 sections (Featured Work, News, About Me, Services, Contact). All the sections works fine, both in Flash and on the server, if the content isn't loaded from XML. But in the News section i use XML for loading the news.If i test my movie in flash, the whole site works fine, and the XML News works perfect. But if i test the movie in a virtual server (like MAMP) or if i test it on my own server, the news section doesn't show.
