Professional :: Formmail Redirect - Pass The Data Through To Email

I have a AS3 fla and I have 3 simple contact fields. I am using formmail.pl to pass the data through to email. I published the swf and uploaded to my server and the data passes fine. My problem however is instead of having the default open up from the formmail.pl file is there a way with AS3 to tell flash once the data has been submitted to gotoAndStop on a specified frame and show the user my own page in the same swf file? Here is the code I have for my form. Everything resides in the first frame.

I created a Contact Form with Flash 4 on a website: [URL]. When I fill out the form in the "Contatti" TAB (contacts) and click on "invia" (submit) the email browser opens correctly (Entourage) but the text in the site form does not appear in it.

I followed to tutorial to make the website and form but it just leaves you hanging at the end after ou made the form, i doesnt tell you how to make the .php file that sends the information to a email address. here is the Action Script 3.0 code for the form:

I don't know if this is too much to ask but could someone give me a quick overview on how to create an email form that actually sends the information to my email? I have the form created, and I'll post the .fla file (I allow a laugh at my elementary flash movie. This is just a final project for an intro to flash class), and I understand I'll need the .asp file from GoDaddy setup on my hosted space.

I have a SWF embedded in an HTML file. After the movie has finished playing, I want a new URL to load. I currently have the following code in the final keyframe of my actions layer: navigateToURL(new URLRequest ([URL]) ); ...which works, but the problem is that it opens up a new window for the new URL instead of redirecting within the same window, which is what I'd prefer. Is there a different command that I can use to force the new link to open in the same window? I guess I could use a Javascript redirect within the web page's HTML, but it seems safer to me to use Actionscript within the Flash movie.

Have flash installed works great except I want it to resolve to different URL when finished. A second option is to see the window go away and the HTML appear underneath.I have already used the transparent and this does not work.For some reason, it makes its own window and pushes the HTML down and after it runs, one must scroll down to read the index page.

I was wondering if there was any 'easy' way for me to use this same script from flash for this feature.

I created a form for my website for customers to post information and I want this information to be sent to my email. The server does not support PHP, nor my own .pl or cgi scripts to send email. The server is Windows IIS based, so SendMail is a bust. The server says I have to use their FormMail script which is located on a separate link.

I'm creating a website for a friend which it's being made using Dynamic Texts (he wants different switchable languages). Problems come when submitting the Form... I've used the same Form model (formmail) for other websites which did not use any Dynamic Text and they worked without problems. The exact problem is that the submitted Form is not received (don't think it's even sent) to the specified email address. However, if the same website does not contain any dynamic text, then the form works properly and the query is received at my mailbox. Has anybody experienced a similar situation?? I'm completely lost because I can't understand the reason for this behaviour, the only thing I know for sure is that the problem is variable related.

I have looked all over the Internet for help with this.I have tried numerous video tutorials and for some reason I can't get it to work. I have created a form in flash cs4 AS2. It is a contact information form where the user fills out their information and sends it.I have created a the form in a movie clip (I have also tried it not in a movie clip) with the form components inside that movie clip.I have given each component on the form an instance name.The form has:
Full name (with instance name=name)
Company (with IN =company)

We have an interactive with about 30 buttons. The reader is asked to choose among the buttons, each of which change a chart that shows the California Budget Deficit. In other words the reader is reducing the said deficit by clicking a button which then "defunds a program" and changes the main chart. When the reader clicks a button we have a dynamic text field (for each button) that registers that that button has been clicked. At the end the reader is invited to submit his choices, that is, which buttons have been clicked.What we would like to do is have each submission emailed to us so we could do a breakdown of how the readers chose to reduce the budget.Is there ANY WAY to take the contents of a series of dynamic text fields and have them automatically appear in an email that the reader could send to us? Or are we doomed to construct a database?

I am trying to send data filled out in a form in my flash movie to send mail using CFMAIL. In my form that is in Flash I have variables set. Then when the button is pressed loadVariables("sendMail.cfm", "POST");
Then on my CF page I have this:

I can't find a tutorial on this. Everything is PHP. And I don't want to use "Flash Forms in MX7"
This is all embedded in my Flash web site.

I have created a form in Flash MX using components shown in the example provided by Kirupa. It does not however tell me how to take the compiled information I imputed, send it to an asp scripting page which sends that information to a database and at the same time send the seller of the product an email stating that someone has registered for their product.
Can I do all this with a simple submit button?

I am using multi line text input in flash. Predefined text it sends as it is. I application when i edit text and send there are no new line. All text comes in single line.

TO SIMPLIFY THINGS: It seems that whenever I use a couple of AS instructions to load some Dynamic text from a text file, Forms which are based in formmail, stop working (no matter if these forms are made of dynamic or static text). Why??
INTO MORE DETAILS: In the attached fla example file here, I've simplified things very much by just leaving 2 Forms (one made with Dynamic text and another one without any dynamic text on it). Very peculiar, if in frame 1 I call the variables from the text file:
[AS]webcontent= "File.txt" loadVariablesNum (webcontent, 0);[/AS] the 2 Forms stop working properly: The static one doesn't even seem to submit data and the dynamic one, it seems data has been sent but data is never received. I am trying to create a simple form using Actionscript 3 that will collect data from a form, then pass that data to an asp file. I have attached the following code to the submit button,but this is not working.I'm not sure if I have to add anything else and I don't understand why this is not working. I need to send an email from flash alongwith the Subject and Body data.When i do the testing in Flash by pressing "Cntrl + Enter" and click on the email button it works properly i.e. it opens an outlook new mail window and the To, subject and BOdy fields are filled with the data that I am sending from flash.
Now when an close the Flash application and open the folder in which the swf is published and run the swf then mailto funcionality does not work properly. i.e. it just fills the To field and reamaining fileds like subject and body are empty!I finally need to embed this swf in html file so the feature should work embedded in html also.

The Context of the Problem.I'm working on a rotator banner in flash. I use an external xml file to pass the banners info (like info-text, link, image-path, priority, etc). Everything is going well so far. I'm loading the xml something like this:
var bannersXML:XML = new XML();
bannersXML.ignoreWhite = true;
bannersXML.load("myBanners.xml");
The Problem itself.Now I need to construct this xml on-the-fly in php and somehow pass it to my flash object. So instead of read the external file I want my flash script receive an xml parameter it can work with.
