I have made an application that is coded only in ActionScript 3.0, and uses HTML and JavaScript for the display.I would like to have the same result, but using Adobe AIR. I do not know Adobe AIR at all, so I was wondering if you could direct to some good tutorials that will teach me how I can move my .html/.js/.as files to Adobe AIR please. I am using Adobe Flash Builder 4.

I would like to be able to operate a scanner from my AIR application. Since there's no support for this natively, I'm trying to use the NativeProcess class to start a jar file that can run the scanner. The Java code is using the JTwain library to operate the scanner. The Java application runs fine by itself, and the AIR application can start and communicate with the Java application. The problem seems to be that any time I attempt to use a function from JTwain (which relies on the JTwain.dll), the application dies IF AIR STARTED IT.[code]

I am receiving an error telling me that the file could not be imported.I have QuickTime installed on my PC. The media encoder recognizes the file but is having problems importing the file. Error code is : g:PRIVATEJVCCQAVCLIP68_01.MOV could not be imported
Been planning on making a reader that can read in acrobat files but wasn't sure if it's possible.

That I do not really remember or look for a solution, so I tell myself that it is perhaps a forum that I did find .. I work on a project with Adobe Flash CS4, consist of several sequences with animation, script, sound ect. Yesterday I try to Launch the movie and I got around to indicate a message saying: That I was unable to load all the sequences,'' then'' that my file had been damaged'' Following this I was worried and I was getting a check in my paper to see if my file was still there, and although it's not as if he estab delete it, it does not appear anywhere in my pc, put in my flash off is to remain open and on which I can still modify items so that is not blocked. Now he tells me to reinstall Flash

[URL] I've placed both picture close of each other and if you look closely, you'll notice that one of them is losing some resolution. Both picture come from the same file, a png. The picture imported to the stage is sharper than the one imported to the library. is there a way to import that picture to the library without losing any resolution?

I have created a flash program and I would like to run a second flash program from inside the first. To explain, say I am running a program that draws a circle and fills it with a color. Then, I have designed a second program that will divide a circle into sectors by entering percentages, to turn that circle into a pie chart. Is there a way to be running the "draw a circle" program and have a button that opens the "divide the circle into sectors" program in a new window and then passes information from that program to the first program. I am sure I will have to send the information from the second program to an XML file and then have the first program recieve it from the XML file (which I can do), but I don't know if I can run the second program from inside the first program.

For example I have downloaded the photo viewer from actionscript.org V2/Page1.html but when I run this program, it shows just blank screen nothing else. Even SWF file is showing the same. And it shows the error, "A definition for the document class could not be found in the classpath, so one will be automatically generated in the swf file upon export." While classpath is the same as of .FLA file.
