i am looking for some kind of library which does CRUD easily using PHP and MYSQL.My goal is to make some app in flash AS3.0 , where i will be receiving some data from user and storing in data base , and perform CRUD opertaions. I dont want to be so much involved in writing php and sl query.My scenario is:
Data types : [ like user_profile data, etc]
add under data types 1 to many fields with various types..
Database tables and realtions etc should be done by my DREAM library, then user when select a Dtat Type, he is presented with related fields to fill up data.
I will be using Flash AS3.0 ( Builder or IDE ) to perform .If only i can find some php library i think AMFPHP can connect flash with php

It is only a "proof of concept" piece of code and it "lives" in the first frame of the timeline of the Flash IDE. What happens? When I compile my SWF (AIR for iPhone), I get this error:
SQLError: 'Error #3115: SQL Error.', details:'no such table: 'background'', operation:'execute', detailID:'2013'

We are trying to create a sqlite db file using java on the server, and encrypt it.Then we send the encrypted db file to a client's pc, which has an Adobe Air desktop app running.The air app then needs to be able to open/read-from the encrypted db file (client is read-only).We are using java 1.6, flex/actionscript 4.5, and Air 3.1.We can create the sqlite db file on the server and send it to the client, and it can be read by the client without issues, when we do not encrypt it.But we are having trouble with the encryption part. We've read quite a lot of documentation about Actionscript's ability to open encrypted sqlite files using AES + CCM (URL...).And we're trying to use java's crypto package to encrypt the sqlite db file.The encryption is important because we don't want the client to be able to open the sqlite db file with any sqlite browser, only with our Air application.

I have an sqlite db in an application and am stuck on how to pass the data that is retrieved from the db into multiple textboxes. I can get the first selection passed into the components just fine, but my problem comes in when I try to pass a second data selection into a different textbox while keeping the data from the previous selection the same in the first textbox.Basically, the user selects a recipe and that recipe is passed into textbox 1 Then another recipe is selected and that recipe is passed into textbox 2. *The recipes are selected from a different view, if that adds anything to the problem. After being selected, the view is returned to where the textboxes are.I'm not looking for someone to code this for me, but rather on how I would do it. I'm trying to bring data from an sqlite database into a custom made menu. I have the menu working using an array with the code shown. But, now I would like the data to come from an sqlite database.
The code shown for the database, I have used for a previous job that pulled the data into a dataGrid. I now want that same data to put into my custom menu instead of a dataGrid. How would I change the second code to do this?
I think my main question is about the "watername_dg.addItem" in the second code below and how to change that to bring the data into my buttons.

User visits my web page A token is generated on the server and stored in the database Token is then saved in LSO User leaves the site (maybe shuts down his computer) and comes back later Token is read, located in the database and the user is recognized (lets say that token is a foreign key that links to other user data stored in the db)
I researched this for quite a while and all I find is that flash can use LSO to store read data for flash movie... Does this mean that the data can not be accessed by the server?

I've done some quick research on this and I understand there are different ways to query SharePoint. I must say it's been a long process for me to try to piece different bits of information to achieve what I'm asked to do.
So here it is. Develop a site using SharePoint 2007 with Flash content.User input in the Flash objects will be stored.Previous user input will be retrieved and displayed in the Flash objects for reviewing purpose.User input will later be processed/manipulated for reporting purposes.Embed FLV videos on certain pages. I understand data can be saved as lists in SharePoint and you can create custom ASPX to get the lists and parse it as XML input for a Flash object. Can I reverse this process when it comes to saving data?
What would be the best approach to implement the above requirements in SharePoint 2007 environment?
Or, should I consider saving data in an external DB, say MSSQL, and having custom ASPX query that DB and generate XML for Flash objects? Or maybe any APIs that can make this process easier?
I need to read data from a file after a user has selected a file using a file browser, for a Flex web app (NOT AIR). I know this is possible in Flash 10 using the FileReference class load and data methods. But using Flash 10 is not an option for me. So does anyone know of anyway I can do this in Flash 9?

I'm trying to read some data in from a sql source, some of which contains double quotes embedded in the text. I know I can strip the doublequotes, but don't want to go that route if I can avoid it. I've tried replacing to double quotes with hex codes before passing the text via parameter to my flash file, but the text string always cuts off at the hex code, the same as if the double quote were present in the string. In my project I would like to be able to draw a shape and then read all the points in that shape into my script. The reason for that is that I need go generate lines from those points that I later can use to check if my characters velocity intersects with any of them.

I have a method that converts an int to a base60 string (using 0-9, a-z, and A-Z chars), but can't work out how to convert it back again. Here is my method for converting base10 to base60:

Its been a while since i touched flash, which is funny considering i started my web/development career here.Anyway, in PHP there is a nice little function called base_convert (http:url....) which will take any number in any base (e.g. base 10, decimal) and convert it to any base (e.g. base 16, hex).So base_convert (15, 10, 16) will output F, which is convenient.I am wondering, as i cannot seem to find, if there is any similar function in actionscript. I am trying to convert from base 10 to 16 and then base 16 to 36.
