The component I'm using is spark.components.Panel. I just can't find the property of this 'Panel' component to change the feature.

Mar 24, 2011I discovered this while doing some programmatic panel resizing:Components in a spark Panel will still be visible when their location is outside the physical Panel boundaries. This does not happen with the mx Panel.unning Flex 4.1 on Windows 7I tried putting mx and spark controls in the spark Panel, and they both appear outside of the boundaries. Note this doesn't happen with the mx Panel. What am I missing to make the spark behave like the mxSample Code:

Unfortunately, the image that I add as the handle doesn't show up when the control is drawn. I can trigger a redraw by changing the source of the image, so apparently it's there, but it's somehow hidden. With this configuration, and once I have set the compiler properties in Eclipse for the compiler to use the Flash text engine for MX components, I can see the two labels of the Panel in the correct font and style ; but the Panel's title will not show up. Even if I add the "embedAsCff: false" line to my style .titleAssumed, the title refuses to show up.

Sep 4, 2008I've been using Jumpeye Accordion Panel V3 at some projects and this time a client asked me to make one where he will add a list of projects and as time goes on he will add pictures for all or most of them. So, I need to know if there's a way (in the component itself or with a code snippet) to make the panel open only the titles that have a corresponding image entered in the external .xml file. Those that have no image shouldn't be clickable and shouldn't open a blank gap. Tried using a transparent 1x1 gif but it looks real bad as it opens a lot more than 1 pixel height

The ScrollPanel loads fine, the 6 instances of the empty movieclip holders load. The function that traces the instance of the movieClip names is working. My trouble is accessing the instances of the movies to load the loaders in order to view the jpgs called from the folder. I receive an "access of undefined property" message if I type thumbLoad0.addChild(pic1ldr); etc, which you will see at the very bottom.

ActionScript 3.0 :: Spark Scroller, Switch Focus To Spark View But It Still Scrolls
Jan 26, 2012I am working on a drag and drop feature for the sparkScroller. This is sort of how my layout looks:

<s:View id="touchView" visible="false" />
</mx:Canvas>
So when you hold your finger over a row in the items Scroller for more than a 30 seconds, the touchView becomes visible so does the dummyRow. The dummyRow gets populated to look like the row which you held your finger over.
So the touchView has the event handlers for moving your fingers and places the dummyRow where your finger is. The problem I am having is even though the touchView is reacting to my move events, the scroller still keeps reacting to my move events as well even though it's a sub layer. Because I started on the scroller it still keeps track!
How can I remove focus / tracking from the scroller?

Nov 8, 2010I started building a gallery in flash before i realised that it was a bit out of my reach at the moment so I downloaded one and set to work altering it for my purposes ( and learning some action script at the same time ) but I've hit a problem. The title in the .fla file can be changed font size etc however after the first frame it's then replaced by another which i can edit but only by editing the .xml file does anyone know where / What I need to look for to alter the size positioning etc.
