I have a checkbox that does not render as a checkbox and would be displayed as something similar to a button. However, it behaves like a checkbox where I can select it and the handler works with the firing event. Here is my checkbox. I also tried it outside the or , but it has the same behavior. There is no CSS related to checkbox or the part that I am working on. I am using Flex 4.5 though.
1- Has anybody encounter such a problem?
2- Is there any way to enforce the layout inside a container and item renderer?
This PHP contact form works well and is very simple. I have one checkbox in the fla file. However, it keeps displaying 'No' in the email message field, whether the checkbox is selected or not. The problem that I'm having is that the images don't shrink the image into their quadrants, but rather, zooms in on the top left corner of the image.
Can anyone tell me what I have to change in the following code to make the images display at a set width (so that they fit in the quadrants proportionally).
Here is what the SWF looks like now. As you can see the images become distorted because they are being stretched. What should happen is that the images be displayed at a fixed width and variable height. [URL]

I have a main movie that contains some combo boxes. Some of them may be disabled.By pressing a button I load another movie using loadMovie. The loaded movie also contains combo boxes.When the button is pressed, the clip that shows the combo boxes is removed from the stage and the loaded movie is displayed. By pressing another button, the loaded movie is unloaded and the clip with the combo boxes is displayed again.Well, once the other movie has been loaded, when I go back to the clip with combo boxes, the disabled combo boxes have a small gray button covering the black down arrow.I have determined that so long as the loaded movie contains combo box in the library, the problem occurrs, even if there is no actual instance of it.The combo boxes that are not disabled are not affected. The combo boxes are disabled by setting "cb_name.enabled=false".If the combo box is enabled, it displays correctly, but if disabled again, it goes wrong again.My project is targeting Flash 8, so it uses AS2.I'm using Flash CS4.
I am using datagrid and added 3 columns to it in flex project. Data is provided to each column by using itemrenderer. Itemrenderer is checkbox for each column. Name of columns are col1,col2,col3. What i would like to do further to this is add the watched items to one XMLList and add the not watched episodes to a different XMLList and have the checkbox on click= move from one to the other list as per watched or not.

Context: I have a data grid where the following has been implemented. tabbing through each column in a single row and creating a new row when tabbing from the last column. The last column in my datagrid is now a checkbox. I set the 'editable' to false as shown below (since we don't want editable text to be shown when user clicks on/tabs to checkbox.
Problem: When I tab through the columns of a given row, I cannot tab to the checkbox column and therefore cannot use the space bar to toggle between checked/unchecked. The user is forced to use the mouse to toggle the check box. Question: How do I let user tab to the checkbox column, and press spacebar to toggle between checked and unchecked?
