Feb 20, 2012I've got a flash player (using JWPlayer) that plays an audio file. The file plays fine. How do I provide the embed code for end-users to copy, so they can post the player and play the audio file on their own site directly? Should I be using HTML <pre> tags somewhere? Or JavaScript to generate the embed code / link?

Jul 20, 2011I am using Flash Builder 4.5 to build an iPhone app.In order to display ads I plan to use StageWebView and load a webpage containing the ad code.Lets say the ad will be 320x50 pixels.So the Actionscript code would look similar to this:

In the application I have set the applicationDPI="160" so the application is displayed properly when run on iPhone3 and iPhone4.However the content of the StageWebView looks tiny on iPhone4.If I do adView.drawViewPortToBitmapData() the bitmap's size is OK.how to make the StageWebView content to scale accordingly, so it looks OK regardless of the screen DPI?

Aug 27, 2009So as to make things less confusing (I had a lot of different layers), I made each scene in my animation in its own file. Now I want to put them in the same file, so I thought I could make everything in one file into a movie clip and put it into another file that way.
However, it doesn't seem to work! I can highlight everything, convert it, and paste it into the other file... but when I paste it, it only pastes the first frame of my highlighted selection! How can I convert the whole thing into a movie clip instead of just one frame?

But because of vector>bitmap conversion when 3d roationing, the scroller fails to works. I know the stratDrag method fails to work in a 3d environment. other than using PV3D or so ? cause I don't know how to work with PV3D, it's just tooooo complicated to get it for me.

Nov 9, 2011I was wondering if there is a way to make the actual stage dynamic to the content loaded in the flash file.
Firstly the method I am using is importing a external swf to the stage into a container called container. The main stage, lets call it index, is still on default size, and I want this to expand dynamically as content is loaded in. page1 may be 900px width, page2 may be 500px width, and as I load the content the index stage should expand the width to that of the page loaded. Some steps I have tried but did not work.

May 26, 2009I am going to embed a Flex app on an html page. The html page is already going to have a scroll bar to scroll up and down. The contents of the flex app are very dynamic, and I don't want to have an extra scroll bar when there is already one. So is there a way to make the height of the swf match the height of the contents of the swf?

The zoom just works fine by changing the value from 1 up to 3 with a slider. Midpoint of the zoom is the center of the container (map).My problem: when i zoom, the scroller cuts a part of the groups. it zooms out of the window?!

Flex :: Flash Builder4.5 - Printing HTML Content ?
Dec 10, 2011need to print html generated invoices from a distant server, using the print class, event if bitmap is set as false, will render the invoice a bitmap. at least the text is blurry and not usable. alivepdf could be a solution but i need to print straight, not save the pdf locally. i don't even understand, giving the fact this print class sucks badly, flex won't allow a simple javascript print function from the remote page.

Aug 15, 2009I'm have made some buttons (movie clip) and when I click on it, I want a file (home.swf) to load in a loader (mx.contents.loader) and I want the other buttons to do the same, all load into the same loader. I have no Idea how to do that. The way I have it set up now, the home.swf will load over the entire screen and that is not what I want. I just want the content to load into the loader and have its content change once I click on the other buttons. Here is a copy and past of that I have at the moment, I'm using Flash 8 to do it all.

Jun 25, 2009I have a flex Air program that loads external content with the HTMLLoader.Now for some reason whenever I load a page that has any flash content a blank system window pops up outside of my program. It's completely blank, all white with min, max and close buttons.If I close it any flash content I loaded stops working. For the life of my I can't figure out what's happening and there's no messages in the console and no title for the window.
