Javascript :: Compiled SWF / HTML Does Not Work In IE9

I have the most weirdest problem with Flash Player and FlashDevelop (to be honest, dont know which one causes it), so let me explain. I have recently downloaded FlashDevelop and created an AS3 Project. When I compile the project, the files are generated in the bin folder. Now, when I navigate to the bin folder and open the index.html in Firefox and IE9, everything works fine. However, when I copy the bin folder somewhere else and then try to do the same, i can see the flash movie in Firefox but not IE9.

I compiled a simple AS3 project using Flex 3.5 (also tried Flex 4.1) to create a small swf which draws a simple red square on screen. Nothing too complex that requires special flashplayer support (see code below)

and tried to load it into a AS2 swf I have compiled using Flash CS4. But that just didn't work. I don't get any errors when loading and the AS2 swf can load any swf, either compiled in AS2 or AS3 by Flash.

I need to execute some javascript string code from flash swf file using actionscript 3.
I read that it could be done by passing the javascript code to the parent html document , using externalinterface.call function. Then I assume it will be faster if I can declare functions in the javascript code in the HTML document in the first use of externalinterface.call funtion ; if flash code calls the javascript code repeatedly. So let me ask you how to do that. For details , any javascript to be loaded is unknown in design time and I can not prepare a javascript file to be loaded.

I am working on a feature for an application that requires Flex 4 functionality. Due to some migration issues of the application from Flex 3.5 to 4.0, I have decided to implement this feature as a module that is compiled with Flex 4.0. The theory is that the application would remain compiled in Flex 3.5 and load the module when it needs it.[code]

We're currently building a Flex application using the PureMVC framework with a shell.swf which loads/unloads modules dynamically. We're experiencing issues with memory and we're looking to replace the shell.swf with a JavaScript-based loader.Two questions:What would be a good framework to dynamically load the Flex components and allow the modules to communicate between each other?Would dynamically loading/unloading the modules via JavaScript take care of the typical memory problems associated with Flex/Flash applications?

I want to make div into my intex.htm file (already built site) to place in a .swf file that will cover the whole screen, and a few seconds later the animated page will disapear and the htm page will appear. I don't want to make different htm file, neither put a button on flash(ie on click...). I just want after a few seconds and after the flash has ended, the flash will go away and the page will appear.

UPDATE 2010-05-14: If I'm not mistaken HD.se uses Flowplayer and all those flasvars are for that. Perhaps someone here is good with Flowplayer? I've never used it myself.

I have an <mx:HTML/> component in my flex air app that shows a web page. The problem is, if the web page has a link on it and they click it, it does not take them to that page. Is there a way to allow this, or a work around? is there a way for the loaded webpage to send Flex info about events that occur in it?Here is my code:

Now which is this HTML file ? Is it the index.template.html file per project or the HTML file created per MXML application ?

I want the other file to open in same window bellow the first one.But the problem here is when i run this in IE8 the other frame opens in a different window but in Firefox im not getting any respose.
Note:- Javascript is enabled in both browsers and popup are not blocked

I'm trying to get Flex 3 and OpenX to work together. Everything works great in Safari and Firefox. But, I get an XML parser error in Internet Explorer, which makes me want to rip my hair out and drink turpentine.
I've tried to simplify the problem as best I can. Basically, I take the adReturn and then turn it into xml.
adReturn = '<adXMLReturn>' + adReturn + '</adXMLReturn>';
xmlReturn = new XML(adReturn);
I don't think that IE likes adReturn, which is below:

Am I using the code improperly or is there a flaw in SWFObject? If you go to the URL below you can see that it the flash file (an MP3 player) shows up perfectly fine in Chrome. However, in both Firefox and IE8 it loads a blank white box. If you mouse over the box the pointer changes to a hand as if its registering the buttons, just not actually displaying them. I thought to use two gif files. When the user hover the specific div then the second gif replace the first and gives the effect. The text will be positioned with css. I am not sure if this a proper way to do it, or there is a better way.

I've got a demo page up here; you can view source to see what I'm trying to do. As you can see, everything about it seems to be working except for colors. I'm trying to set the color to blue (#0000ff), but it stays as black. I created a custom SWF file for my font, embedding four different variations of a single font in order to accommodate for different styles per these instructions (because this particular font family stores regular, bold, italic, and bold italic as four disjoint font names).

I'm trying to call a method inside a flash movie from js, every time the mouse leaves the "div". It works on Internet Explorer, but not in firefox. Here is the html script:

Here is example of the problem, there is an alert for the js and the flash should be able to remove the swf (see a gray background? it works! see a image, flash didn't receive the call): [URL]. This should work with internet explorer / safari / chrome (pc/mac) only firefox seams to reject this.

Whenever I use ExternalInterface to call a Javascript function in Firefox, the Javascript successfully returns a value to Flash. However, in IE, I always get 'null' for the return.
I know Flash is successfully calling the JS because i have an alert in the JS function that is firing. It's just the return that is null.
