Javascript :: How To Make Sure That Image Returned From The Server Side Cannot Be Intercepted

In our application,we have a web service which wll return images to the client according to the parameter.Now,we want to make sure that the image can not be used by no-permissioned user and can not be intercepted through the network.So we want to encrypt the image in the server side,when the client get the image,it should be decrypted accordingly. However our application is browser based. It seems that in the browser we can not use javascript to decrpte the image stream.
Assume that each client which call the service is absolute safe.We try to use a hidden flash in the page,which may decrpte the image and save them to local,then show them in the page, this will use the communications between the js and flash.But we have to decrype the image use the flash language other than c# or java.

THen we meet two problem:
1)how about other people know this key,even we bind the key with the ip or mac addresss.
2)How about the user grap the http package directly? Then he do not need know any parameter,he can intercept the whole image steam.

I want to download files from the server side to client side without prompting a window to the user to download when any updates happen at server side.Right now I am using urlstream class but first file is downloading completely rest of the files contents downloading partially.

We want a web app that allows a user to edit images on the browser and we're trying to decide which technology to use. We want to support simple image customization, such as high-quality resizing, cropping, image merging, and color transformations, as well as the addition of text elements with different fonts and colors.
The current options are: Flash: no worries about cross-browser compatibility; could use same image library on client and server; no iPhone/iPad support. Java (compiled to javascript with GWT): need to find a good image library in pure Java so it can be compiled to JS. Plain old javascript + HTML5: may be a mess due to multiple browsers; may need to write image editing code from scratch. Here's what's most important to us / criteria for choosing:
Image consistency: the image that the client edits on the browser must be exactly the same as the one we'll eventually use on the backend. We can achieve this by (a) having the same library both on the client and server to process images, (b) having the client generate the image and upload it to the server, or (c) use two different image processing libraries on the client/server and hope for the best in terms of consistency.
Option (a) seems best, but it would only be possible if we use Flash or Java/GWT. We don't like option (b) because the images are large; we'd rather save a sequence of operations to perform on a raw image than saving multiple transformed images. And we don't really know if option (c) is safe or not. Scalability: We prefer the client to do as much work as possible to decrease server load. Image quality must be kept high
Cross-platform: We'd like to support as many platforms as possible without rewriting everything (big negative for Flash due to iPhone/iPads).

Is there anyway to export JSON data to CSV/Excel without any interaction with the server side? Using Javascript only? or Flash? I'm currently using ZeroClipboard to copy the value into the clipboard but I'd like to open directly the generated value into Excel from the browser (FF, Chrome, IE, etc...).

I have an upload form for an image. The user clicks browse and selects a file. How can I get the image dimensions the moment the user selects the file (before the file is even uploaded to the server). It obviously has to be something client-side with maybe javascript/jquery or flash/flex (prefer js//jquery though), but can either of them do this? This is the code I'm using to tie into zozo's getImgSize() function, but it gives me 0*0 as size.

I'm capturing an image from an swf and transmitting it as a byteArray to a php file. Everything seems OK in capturing and sending the data but the final image doesn't display and says it is corrupt.
I'm not sure if i need to do something to the byteArray or if there is something wrong on the php side that is causing the error?
I'm using stuff I've found on other posts and haven't tried JPGEncoder yet which is mentioned in some of those posts and examples. I thought it would be simple enough if it was just a getPixels() and wouldn't need JPGEncoder.

Below is the code. When the swf is connected to FMS(the connection is successful) I use this application.user_so.send("enterContestGroup"); to call the client side mothed. You can see that in the client side I have defined the "enterContestGroup" mothed. However the fact is it doesn't call that mothed. Can anybody tell me what the error is

The company I work for installed FMS on a server running Centos for a customer who needed streaming media capabilities. It worked fine for 3 months until today the customer called us and informed us that their client program can no longer connect to the streaming media server. No one has done anything to the server to cause this to happen. When attempting to access the admin console to diagnose the program, the streaming server returned a 500 Internal Server Error. So I tried another page. Same result. Reboots of both the hardware server and the FMS have changed nothing.

I'm using Agile Uploader in my project to resize image before upload on client side.And it works fine except one thing: if image name contains cyrillic letters it fails with server error 500.
How to avoid this or if needed how to rename file with english letters "on fly" (possibly with javascript).

Ok I'm trying to make a small thing on a website that will allow the user to update the news themselves.... after reading up on it i found that to export a textfile in this way I would have to have a serverside script to execute it for me (PHP in my case)... I did it, but it isnt working..

Is there any way to make a flash object where users can interact but has no server side support. All users are in the same network, the swf file would be on a shared drive. Nothing complicated, just one frame where everyone (about 10 user) can make modification. No login, no password.

I am posting a thread regarding passing a javascript returned value into Flash. It is slightly complex due to the solution I am looking for must target Flash Player 6.
I have looked at various solutions including the Flash / JavaScript Integration Kit wrote by the guys at the former Macromedia. Unfortunately the solution involved includes various classes and then import them in Flash which produces the following error:
The class or interface 'com.macromedia.javascript.JavaScriptProxy' could not be loaded.

I'm having a hard time understanding the logic here.... What is the difference between the facebook session returned from the javascript api as opposed to the one retrieved from AS3 Facebook api when your application is in facebook. I ask this because When I login via invoked via pure javascript or already logged in the permissions are sent to me as well however AS3's FacebookSession.availablePermissions continues to be an empty array Login invoked via flash will however return the availablePermissions Whats the difference in login invocations?

I want to create an application that has these features
- At client side: Display a list of images, when user click on one image, data will be stored in MySQL database.
- At server side: Manage images used in client side, I can delete, add new images.
Is this possible for me to achieve this using Flex? And if it is able, will my output be 2 separate SWF files? And where can I find the materials to read on writing such applications?

[code]This script is for a loader image gallery in flash, as part of a class assignment. What happens is that in flash, when I open the swf file, the initial image (images/nair_evanescentautumn.png) will load fine. However, clicking on any thumbnail image (including the exact same images/nair_evanescentautumn.png), will result in an error saying the file cannot be found.I cannot figure out why it is doing this... I've tested it over. Clicking each thumbnail does go to the correct position in the two separate functions. All said full-size image links are in the folder images/, and replacing the initial loader image will load the other images in place of the default one. However, clicking on any thumbnail still results in URL not found, even though everything works correctly.[code]Before anyone asks why I'm putting this kind of content into a flash site, I'm not--this is only for a class assignment. I'm just trying to figure out why my images aren't loading right when I'm only doing the exact same thing in the functions as I am on the other pages.Of note, commissions.swf has the exact same feature, just with swf files loaded instead, and it works perfectly fine. home, traditional, digital, and photography all have the image gallery, and all have the same issue (I only referenced one page because if I can fix one page I should be able to fix all of them).As for the artworks, they are all my fiance's. Here's the AS2 way:
1. Timeline has only 2 frames
1. Make movie clip and give it an instance name (in this case: box_mc). Make sure this takes up frame 1 and 2 on timeline.
2. On a sparate actions layer on frame 1 put this down:
mouse_x = _xmouse;
setProperty (_root.box_mc, _x, mouse_x+((getProperty(_root.box_mc,_x)-mouse_x)/2));
3. On frame 2 of actions layer put:
gotoAndPlay (1);
how to do this in AS3? I really want to be able to have 3d rotation tweening in my flash file and AS2 won't let me do it.
