Javascript :: Stream MMS Protocol Radio On Your Website?
Jan 31, 2012
Is it possible to stream a radio channel in my website if I have the mml url mms:// ? I was checking out XML Flash Players but they do not seem to support that protocol. I am also ok if I need to code something but I would like to be guided in the right direction as I cannot find a lot of information about this issue. Is there something ready made? Would it be easier if I get my client to get me a different type of stream?
I want to use customised encoder to publish live steams to a FMS4.5 server? Is it possible to connect encoder and FMS4.5 server on HTTP protocol?i read in other articles FMLE can connect to FMS on RTMP protocol.
I currently use FMS 4.5 to steam Live Technical Videos.
Hooked into Flash Media Live Encoder is a Roland VR-5 which lets me have multiple Camera switching.
I want to braodcast also a few live Audio only streams. I could easily use the VR-5 which in turn has a Behringer Audio Mixer attached to allow up to 16 Audio devices to be mixed in, and then just turn off the Video option in Flash Media Live Encoder but:
I don't want to have to put a video window on the Webpage. I just want an Audio controller.
So how can I use FlashMedia Server to just stream a live Audio feed?
I'm looking for a free flash player so that I can stream flv files on my website (like youtube). Anybody know of any good and free solution with no watermark?
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes. I'm looking to stream a live webcam on my website and have no idea where to start. I've been searching for a while and various things refer to Flash Media Server but this is costly and, as I will be streaming from University, it will probably be blocked on the network or take up too much bandwidth.
Does anyone know of a way to stream a webcam, without FMS or Quicktime Broadcaster etc.? Any free websites that provide this service could be possible, so long as the stream isn't available to anyone outside my website.
I have a client who needs a Flash video to stream from a website, the video which is being made from powerpoint slides is roughly 22 minutes long. With the voiceover it's gonna be pretty heavy. Way too long to stream correctly from my experience so in order to do this right I need to know which way to go here.
I broke up the fla's into 4 ( 5 minute .swfs)I finished the first and I'm working on the second .fla. the first fla was published with the html wrapper let's call it v1.swf.on thelast frame of v1.swf I used the loader class to load the v2.swf into the wrapper when v2.swf ends it will loadv3.swf all the way up to 5.
So far this works using the two .swfs which are on my server and are streaming. Before I continue I just to make sure I do not do unecessary work I need to know if the way I plan on doing is correct or is there another way.
I am having a problem getting radio button data into php and I can not seem to find any answers. My project is simple I have a group of radio buttons, when one is selected and a submit button is pressed I want the data from the radio button to populate the subject line of an email and send it.I can make a form work with input fields but not with radio button data.
I've got a huge survey I've made with lots and lots of groups of radio buttons. There are maybe 60 questions with 6 buttons each. Of these, I have a couple of groups that are really misbehaving. What's happening is for one question, the first button in the group seems independent of the rest. That is, I can check the first radio button and it never turns off when clicking others in the same group.
All my code is right. I'm using the exact same code with all the other groups and only two groups aren't working right. Ha. That's the funny thing, though, because everything works fine IN Flash, but publishing to a web page, these two groups stop working right.FWIW, I've set the first instance of the radio button with a name like "G10" then all the buttons in the group have the group name "Q10".I've tried several ways of fixing this including deleting the whole group and adding them again, copying a working group and renaming the parts. Nothing. The one thing that has worked (and don't ask me why) but adding a new single radio button with a new instance and group name has fixed other problem groups but not these two.
This problem is happening is both IE8 and IE7. I have a small swf compiled with flex. It's basically just a wrapper around audio streaming functionality. All the controls and such are in html with javascript. I load the swf using swfobject's "static" method. This works great in Firefox and Chrome. In IE, the swf loads correctly, but as soon as I try to stream any audio with it, I get an error. EDIT: I've reduced the code quite a bit to try and find the problem. You can see the new version running here. Here is the error, html and flex files for my reduced version:
if I repeat this IIS topic, I couldn't find the answer to my problem any where on the internet. I installed FMS Dev 3.5 on Win 2003 Server with IIS 6.0 enabled. I don't have any issue with port 80 Listening, I used the IP address 192.168.0.21 for my web application (IIS) and 192.168.0.22 for FMS (I only have one network card and port 1935 is open under firewall). I can play the sample videos (RTMP, HTTP, and Dynamic Stream) using the Flash Media Start Screen (or from the location C: Program FilesAdobe Flash Media Server 3.5webrootindex.html) without any problem.
I then modified the IIS Default Website to look at the "webroot" folder (C: Program FilesAdobe Flash Media Server 3.5webroot). From IE, I can access the default web site by enter http://192.168.0.21/index.html. The website loads up correctly, and the RTMP video is playing perfectly. However, if I click Play Video (HTTP) or Dynamic Stream (tab), I receive "Connection Error. Please press Play to try again." I look at the log file (access.01.log) and see the error log "Session disconnect
I want to play a little "ding" sound when a new item is posted on my site. I'll leave the option to turn it off of course. Now should I do this with JavaScript? Would jQuery be helpful? Or should I use Flash? Looking for something that is widely compatible with different browsers.
I am interested in streaming audio on my website, but I have no clue where to begin. There are two types of streaming I hope to achieve. The first would be streaming a playlist of songs stored on the server and the second would be live audio streaming. Can anybody recomend any good sites or plugins to use?
Do you know any good solutions for converting a HTML rich text to a paginated book ? I used a CKEditor to let the user input the desired text. Now I am trying to display the content in a Book like environment. Preferably a Javascript/CSS one but Flash is OK too. Thought about jPaginate , jquery plugin. The text can be formatted with 2-3 text styles and can contain images.
Is it possible at all to create a feature on a website where you allow a user to select a portion of the web page, and that selected area is rendered as an image? Its similar to the "Cropper" desktop program but needs to be embedded on the web page It sounds near impossible using JS, flash, silverlight or any web based tools but I just wanted to get a 2nd opinion.
I understand that there are many methods to creating a slideshow on a website, but that isn't my question. What I really want to know is what is the most mainstream method of creating a slideshow on a website. What do you recommend? So far I've seen Jquery, Javascript, CSS & DHTML, and Flash. The first thing that comes to mind for me is flash, then second Javascript.
I want to take a screenshot from my website of another website or preferable 1 part of it (an object tag).I want it to work this way: I click on a button that will send a request to screenshot the page at this moment. Several ideas are insert the page inside a flash object and screenshot it. Or opening a browser on the server and when I click the button send a request using AJAX to tell the server to screenshot with this browser. How should I do this because I kind of failing right now with the flash Idea. The page I am trying to screenshot is a live camera that uses a .wvx object. But I can't even do that with a .swf object
I'm considering attempting a redesign of a flash website with jquery effects and transitions in place. I just wanted to reach out to the community to maybe see how feasible this really is considering the particular transitions and effects this website hasThe gallery I guess can be recreated by carousel plugin, but there are so many out there so maybe could suggest a stable one that would be be best suited to this job. The other items that really caught my attention in which I wouldn't really know where to start is the navbar and the effect that looks like a book opening when you click on a link on the navbar.
I want to capture flash events in webpage using javascript. By flash events I mean like, clicking a Button, mouseover, entering text in textbox in flash content (websites). I see adobe flash uses Action script code to get the events in eventlisteners. How can I use the same API in javascript?
For my wishlist site, I would like to propose widgets to my users in order to publish their wishlist on their blog or personal website. The idea is to propose a few lines of code to my users that they only need to copy/paste to insert the widget displaying their wishlist. What is the best way to create/develop a widget ?
I'm developing an Adobe Air application for Android using ActionScript 3.0 (I'm not using Flex).I'm trying to use radio buttons and a radio button group, but they aren't available on ActionScript mobile.I'm using Flash Builder 4.5.1 Standard and when I want to import fl.controls it complains saying that it isn't available. Is there any other control that I can use instead of radio buttons?
I have a single page web app that shows real time data using just HTML/CSS/JS - I have managed to keep Flash out of it.
Now I want to play a small chime but I don't want to make the site dependent on Flash. It is just a chime to indicate a new chat, so it is not a huge stumbling block but I would like to find a way.
Is this possible - I am guessing no since you need something local to play the sound
Let me first establish what I want to do:My user is able to record voicenotes on my website, add tags to said notes for indexing as well as a title. When the note is saved I save the path of the note along with the other info in my DB.Now, I have 2 choices to do the recording, both involve a .swf embedded in my site:
1) I could use Red5 server to stream the audio to my server and save the file and return the path to said file to my app to do the DB saving, seems rather complicated since I would have to convert the audio and move it to the appropriate folder that belongs to the user in a server side Red5 app, which I'm not very aware of how to build.
2) I could simply record the audio and grab its byte array, do a Base64 encoding on it and send it to PHP along with the rest of the data that is necessary (be it by a simple POST or an AJAX call), decode it on the server and make the file with the appropriate extension, audio conversion would also occur here using ffmpeg, this option seems simpler but I do not know how viable it is.
