I am using Flex and php to develop my project. Everything works great in my local machine.However, when I upload my files to my serverI got the error when loading my flex application.The pop-up error message is

when i do this locally on tomcat server on local development machine it works fine when i brought it over to linux im getting this error.i dont know what to do anymore it should be straight forward but i'm having no luck. i do have a web.xml and i see a broker for my remote access so i just dont know what it could possibly be

I have a Flex and Java application and i am using BlazeDS between flex and java. Generally my application works fine. I have a single server that runs IIS and FMS, both on port 80. The server has two internal IPs assigned to it, one for IIS and the other for FMS. I also have two static public IPs. My router maps one public IP to IIS' internal IP and likewise for FMS.
IIS works fine. Using an online port scanner, I was able to determine that port 80 is responsive for both public IPs. Before I had configured my Adapter.xml and fms.ini, only IIS' public IP was responsive. This seems to indicate that FMS is fine.
However, when my ActionScript creates a NetConnection and calls connect(), my netStatus callback takes about half a minute to be invoked, and I get "NetConnection.Connect.Failed". Which is not very informative. Is there a way to get more info about the cause of the error?
I have seen a few posts on this topic and I have tried wrapping the lc.connect attempt in a try/catch block. My goal is to be able to open my app (a cfm in which swf's communicate w/ each other using localConnection) in multiple browsers without receiving this error.

I just finished my installation of Adobe Flash Builder 4. I've definitely installed the most recent flash player from Adobe's website onto my computer. Also, in the run configurations of flash builder 4, I changed the source path from the .html file to the .swf file that is generated. I don't need to test it in a web browser, I just want to run the swf in flash player.
I only have 1 .as file in my actionscript project and there is no code written in it other than the package, class and main function statements. When I run the .html file, it runs fine, and debugs fine. However, when I switch the source path to the .swf file, it runs fine but doesn't debug!
When I debug it, the progress gets stuck at 57% and it says "Waiting for Adobe Flash Player to connect to debugger..." in the "Progress" tab. After a few minutes a window pops up that says:
"Failed to connect. The session has timed out. Ensure that you have run the application with debugging on and that I have the debugger version of flash player."
What can I do to fix this? I am on an intel Mac running OS 10.6.5.
I am encountering a weird problem. I have a flex application that calls a HTTPService from another domain to retrieve some data. I have created a crossdomain.xml in my flex application with <allow-access-from domain="*"/>.
When i run my application http:[url]...., i can retrieve the data without error.But if i run my application http:[url]....., i encounter the Channel.Security.Error.
I'm having trouble with an AS3 AMF RemoteObject request that is hosted on App Engine. I have a crossdomain.xml file in the root of the domain, and also one at the remoting endpoint.Here are the contents of the root crossdomain.xml:

Loading the swf file and testing it on my machine works just fine... I think that may have something to do with me having the debugger version of Flash Player. When I push it up to App Engine to make it public, other clients access it and get a Client.Error.MessageSend Channel.Security.Error error Error #2048 url: http:[url].......I am using Flex 4 beta, and the App Engine Python runtime. I have tried full wildcard in the crossdomain, and even accessing the data endpoint at a relative URL so as to avoid this error.
i need to connect to two different domains from a single flex application. the problem is the domain other than the current hosted domain is unable to login. letz say i hosted the application at LOCAL server. im able to login to the local server . From the existing application i need a login to the MAIN server too. The problem comes up here. flash security is not allowing login to MAIN server. in crossdomain we allow-access-from MAIN server. but i want access to the MAIN server from LOCAL server. is ther nything i need to put extra in [URL]?
View 1 RepliesI tried to deploy my otherwise working flex app on a web server (tomcat 6).It threw a Channel.Security.Error.After some research, I became aware that flash movie loaded from flash_movie_domain will not be able to load resource from any other domain.Some suggested adding a crossdomain.xml.However, the crossdomain.xml route doesn't quite make sense.In this case, I am loading resources from a third party web site.My understanding is that I need this third party website to include a crossdomain.xml on their root directory in order for app to function.The third party web service is provided as is. I will not be able to change what's given. Since the third party is providing public access, it already explicitly give permission to the general public. Adding a crossdomain.xml to their root seems to be a redundant act?

After testing on my localhost everything works fine but when I copied my files to a remote server repoint the uri in d servies-config and then recompiling the application gives a sending failed error.

Now when I want to connect my live stream application to Internet it isn't working. Public IP for my server is of type xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx (My machine is mapped to the ip so to connect I need to mention the port as well).I am running IIS and FMS on the same machine. I'm trying to connect to AMFPHP on a server (with Flash AS3), and the swf borks when it reaches the .connect() stage. To make things easier (?) and more reusable (?), I've put all the NetConnection mechanics into a separate class, AMFConnection, which I call from the Main document class like this (details changed):

AMFConnection actually starts the connection and calls the AMFPHP service with the function gogogo(), and here's where the connect() NetConnection function just won't work. Here's the main section of the AMFConncection class

It also fails to display the stage, instead showing the loading dots. Now, eventually I'm going to move this application to the same server as the AMFPHP service, but even when I try it there with a relative url, instead of an absolute one, it still breaks down at connect(). I've tried changing the publish settings from local only to network only, to no avail.
I am trying to use adobe flash builder 4 with a php service.I had it set up an older macbook running leopard, but just tried to set it up on my new laptop running snow leopard.I did all the same steps.. set the Flex Server to be PHP, set the web root and url.Then I go to Data->Connect To PHP and point it to a php file I have in my web root. It says it needs to install Zend, and claims it does so successfully, but then when I try to continue, I get an error.I don't understand.. this same setup works on my older laptop.

i am trying to add a web service in flex 4. This web service is deployed in share point 2010 in the intranet . I am able to see this wsdl file through browser but trying to introspect the service is giving an authentication error. I am getting the following error :-

So I can get the following to work on a MAMP local server but have a problem running it on the internet (I have Dreamhost) as I keep getting a BadCall version error and when I run it locally using WAMP it just times out without an error. As to the error when I am running it up online, I am using Charles to see what is going on and it gives me this output:

I've got some trouble with the Zend Framework (AMF) and ActionScript, in sending multiple parameter to a PHP Function.
The user loads an image file from the local hard drive using FileReference into the Flash Movie than I take the Image's Bitmap Data, encode it to with JPGEncoder (CoreLib), get the byteArray of it and pass it to a PHP function though a NetConnection Instance like this.[code]...
When I connect data services using blazeds I get following error message.

Why am not able to connect? But when specify remoteObject in the declaration tags and call the methods it works fine.
Im trying to connect a Flash client to BlazeDS. There has been some success with this from others using the vanilla BlazeDS setup. However I'm using the new Spring BlazeDS Integration from springsource and running aground. The flash client actually seems to be working in that I can see the correct data in the body of the returned object, but for some reason unknown it fails casting as an IMessage. It fails in PollingChannel.as on this line with the subject line error

Within my movieclip WinLose I'm getting an error for a movieclip on stage called mcRestart. When it's pressed it's suppose to trigger function Restart. I'm making a program in flash builder 4.5 using WebOrb 4 (which is fantastic, I might add). When I go to deploy, however, it gives me this error:
