I just finished my installation of Adobe Flash Builder 4. I've definitely installed the most recent flash player from Adobe's website onto my computer. Also, in the run configurations of flash builder 4, I changed the source path from the .html file to the .swf file that is generated. I don't need to test it in a web browser, I just want to run the swf in flash player.
I only have 1 .as file in my actionscript project and there is no code written in it other than the package, class and main function statements. When I run the .html file, it runs fine, and debugs fine. However, when I switch the source path to the .swf file, it runs fine but doesn't debug!
When I debug it, the progress gets stuck at 57% and it says "Waiting for Adobe Flash Player to connect to debugger..." in the "Progress" tab. After a few minutes a window pops up that says:
"Failed to connect. The session has timed out. Ensure that you have run the application with debugging on and that I have the debugger version of flash player."
What can I do to fix this? I am on an intel Mac running OS 10.6.5.
i'm trying to connect my flash application to my nodejs server running socket.io. To connect via web-browser is no problem. Now the problem, when the socket-server isn't running i get an IOError in Flash what seams alright. Now when i start the server and try to connect again, i don't get an error, but the socket-server doesn't receive a connection either?!
I have found some question which refers to my initial question :on xcode Usually resolved in synthesis by :
flushing certificate cache correcting the signing certificate ( using Distribution in replacement of Developper) C checking and correcting the Application ID who was sometimes not the same between the one declared in iTunes Connect and the one in the app.xml file
The fact is that I still has the problem on Flex Builder, which is when I upload my application, it failed with "Application failed codesign verification"
[Code]...
So the question is what could still block the uploading of the application on the App Store?
How to resolve "Application failed codesign verification." when uploading Application, build with Flash Builder 4.6?
I just updated my AIR runtime to 3.0 and noticed that my AIR application doesn't work anymore. So I tried to debug it it with Flash Builder, but when I run it there, everything works just fine. So I uninstalled the AIR runtime completely but noticed that I can execute my AIR app within Flash Builder still just fine. So the AIR runtime used within Flash Builder seems to be a different one than the systemwide installed AIR runtime. How Do I chose within Flash Builder which runtime to use and how do I update this runtime?
I am trying to connect to FBJS bridge. It keeps giving me the following error. When I'm opening only one connection and I do not have any other window open.
ArgumentError: Error #2082: Connect failed because the object is already connected.at flash.net::LocalConnection/connect()at BabyVille()[C:Documents and SettingsuserDesktopabyvilleflashMain ProjectsrcBabyVille.as:56]This is my code :
I am using Flex and php to develop my project. Everything works great in my local machine. However, when I upload my files to my serverI got the error when loading my flex application. The pop-up error message is
I have a single server that runs IIS and FMS, both on port 80. The server has two internal IPs assigned to it, one for IIS and the other for FMS. I also have two static public IPs. My router maps one public IP to IIS' internal IP and likewise for FMS.
IIS works fine. Using an online port scanner, I was able to determine that port 80 is responsive for both public IPs. Before I had configured my Adapter.xml and fms.ini, only IIS' public IP was responsive. This seems to indicate that FMS is fine.
However, when my ActionScript creates a NetConnection and calls connect(), my netStatus callback takes about half a minute to be invoked, and I get "NetConnection.Connect.Failed". Which is not very informative. Is there a way to get more info about the cause of the error?
I have an air application that loads a swf ( built in flex ) , this swf loads moduls and basicaly my air application is a testing environment for this swf .
when i run it in flex environment ( eclipse ) it runs fine , when i run it from my programs ( as an air program ) it gets stuck , what i was thinking is that it has to do with security issues because it gets stuck when my main swf try to loads the moduls .
I am currently building a Flex application with a PHP backend. The flex application should talk to the backend using Zend_AMF.I have implemented the Zend_AMF endpoint as a controller, so it is accessible via http://localhost/myapp/amf.I am trying to test the service using a service browser called ZamfBrowser. When connecting, I get this error:
There was an error loading the server's info. Error: (mx.rpc.events::FaultEvent)#0 bubbles = false cancelable = true
I have seen a few posts on this topic and I have tried wrapping the lc.connect attempt in a try/catch block. My goal is to be able to open my app (a cfm in which swf's communicate w/ each other using localConnection) in multiple browsers without receiving this error.
Alright, I know that this error is occurring because of something to do with addchild() function. On frame 2. How do I know? Because when I remove the snippets of code that dynamically place an object onto the stage it works fine. The error is below and the source code for frame 2 is below the error messages.[code]...
when i do this locally on tomcat server on local development machine it works fine when i brought it over to linux im getting this error.i dont know what to do anymore it should be straight forward but i'm having no luck. i do have a web.xml and i see a broker for my remote access so i just dont know what it could possibly be
I have a Flex and Java application and i am using BlazeDS between flex and java. Generally my application works fine. I observed when ever i try fetch data little faster(not giving gap between two fetch commands) then i am getting the error "Server error :faultCode:Channel.Call.Failed faultString:'error' faultDetail:'NetConnection.Call.Failed: HTTP: Failed'"
I guess when ever load is increasing on BlazeDs, i am getting the error. I am calling the java service using following code
I am trying to debug a Flash Web Application using Flash Builder 4. However, I keep getting this error:Unable to connect to the application to fetch profile data. try profiling the application again.I am using Internet Explorer 8 (the same problem also occurs with Internet Explorer 7) with Adobe Flash Player 10.1.102.64 (the Debug Player). In other words, I installed the latest of everything. For my launch configuration, I have used the path to an HTML file. This works fine for debugging but does not seem to work for profiling.
Using Flex Builder 3 : I have been getting this problem in every single debug launch for past few hours. I used to get this earlier too, but once in a while, not with every debug launch. I found out that flex debugger uses a certain 7395 port but I can't figure out how to change it?
I am building an Android application using Flex Hero. When I run the application I can package it fine on my mobile and run it on the device, however, as soon as I want to run in debug mode on the device, the device gives me a message like: "Can't connect to debugger (192.168.1.12). Enter IP-address or hostname". The device is connected with a USB to the PC and USB debugging is enabled on the device. I have tried to shut down the computer's firewall, but no result.
I've tried everything, firewalls, reinstalling etc etc. I can't get the debugger to connect no matter what I do.
I'm just writing a simple Air application, with Flex and Actionscript. But any type of debugging on any type of application doesn't work. I get this message
The Flash Builder debugger failed to connect to the running application.
Damndest thing. Every once in a while, I'll make a change to some part of my Flash application, while working in Flash Builder 4, and when I click Debug Play, it starts running with the old code and the old variables, even though the code I'm looking at in the code window is the new, changed code. I can still advance step by step, but the advances don't align with the new code. They seem to be aligning with the old, not visible code. I can eliminate variables entirely, save, build clean, and when I run, it still shows the old variables in the Variables window. As I can not find any mention of this on the Internet, I logically conclude that this is some ancient curse directed solely at me.
I've started getting the following when I try to run FB4 projects:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Flash Player.plugin
Flash Builder cannot locate the required debugger version of Adobe Flash Player. You might need to install the debugger version of the Flash Player or reinstall Flash Builder.
I've installed the debugger version of the Flash Player. Didn't work. I've reinstalled Flash Builder. Didn't work. I tried using Safari instead of Firefox. Didn't work.
When I go to Macintosh HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ in the finder, I can see Flash Player.plugin right there. But when I go to Username/Library/Internet Plug-Ins the entire folder is blank. So I tried copying Flash Player.plugin to the latter folder. Didn't work.
Mac questions (I'm new to mac): Which of these is really the root? Is it normal that there should be duplicate directories like this, with non-duplicate contents??
In FB I opened Windows --> preferences --> Flash Builder --> Profiler --> Player/Browser and browsed to /Applications/Adobe Flash CS5/Players/Debug/Flash Player Debugger.app
What does Flash Player Debugger.app have to do with Flash Player.plugin?
I'm having difficulty debugging an ActionScript 3.0 project. When set to ActionScript 2.0, I'm able to debug just fine, but I'd like to use some 3.0 functionality. However, when choosing Debug > Debug Movie, the debugger launches (or at least the empty AS 3.0 debugger panels are displayed), but I receive the message "Debugger launch failed. Debug session will terminate.". Click OK and the debugger closes.
The window for Flash Builder's mobile device emulator (in AIR) seems to be a bit too tall for a resolution running 1280x800. Is there a way to make it run smaller? 1280x800 is the highest resolution set-able on the laptop being used to develop for it.
Is there any way to get Flex Builder to connect to an existing browser session running Flash Player Debugger? I can connect to FDB like this, but with Builder I need to click Debug and rush to close the newly opened browser window before it loads the Flash file and then go back to the session I want to connect and right click it to start the debugger.
Unfortunately this is not very reliable as I can't always beat the window opening, requiring several attempts before being able to connect to the session I am interested in. If I could just tell Builder 'Start debugging' and then have it wait for the connection, I could now calmly go over to the browser, right click, hit debug, provide the IP and voila. This would allow me to inspect variables on a hard to replicate bug on a session running on a tester's computer.
I just finished porting my AIR application to Flash. It works perfectly fine when I debug it via Flash Builder or when I load the enclosing HTML file in a browser that uses a debugging enabled version of Flash. However, it stops working when I load it a non-debug version of Flash. The "failure" seems to occur when the app tries to send a SOAP message request to our API server. That whole SOAP layer was generated using Flash Builder's Web Services class generation tools.
According to [URL], getStackTrace() is known to cause problems, so I disabled my calls to it but the problem still occurrs.
when tried to build a AIR application for android using flex builder I did the following steps to do that .plz tell me where the error happened
1.Created Air application using flex builder that produced two type of files .swf and .xml files and cetification file
2.Created apk file from the above files using "Package assisstant pro"

4.after that i tried to install the apk file that Created from the 'package assisstant pro' then i tried to install the apk file by using command prompt then it show this error "INSTATTION FAILED INVALLID APK" .And also i cann't install other apk file (Sample air for android application apk file that downloaded from the site) that shows the same error,I succeed to install other application's(Say for printing hello world) apk file.[code]
Whenever i try to debug movie, it does nothing but say "attemping to launch and connect to Player using URL C:Documents and SettingsBlahMy DocumentsFLASHTDBackup.swf [SWF] C:Documents and SettingsBlahMy DocumentsFLASHTDBackup.swf - 95873 bytes after decompression" in the output. I tried leaving it for an hour and nothing happened.
I made the simple application using flash builder 4.5.1 for both iOS and android. I test the application on my iphone and ipad, it working fine. But when I try to install on my android device(Samsung GT-5570). It get the following error message.Error occurred while installing the application:1603 KB/s (6108444 bytes in 3.719s)pkg: /data/local/tmp/Runtime.apkFailure [INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_APK]I google about the error.I found that It is cause of my device have ARMv6 architecture. Now I have 2 question.Question 1. Is there any other reason of failing installation.Question 2. If the reason is same than any other way available to make build for ARMv6 and ARMv7 architecture phone.
