Jun 23, 2011
when i do this locally on tomcat server on local development machine it works fine when i brought it over to linux im getting this error.i dont know what to do anymore it should be straight forward but i'm having no luck. i do have a web.xml and i see a broker for my remote access so i just dont know what it could possibly be
I am using Flex and php to develop my project. Everything works great in my local machine. However, when I upload my files to my serverI got the error when loading my flex application. The pop-up error message is
I am currently building a Flex application with a PHP backend. The flex application should talk to the backend using Zend_AMF.I have implemented the Zend_AMF endpoint as a controller, so it is accessible via http://localhost/myapp/amf.I am trying to test the service using a service browser called ZamfBrowser. When connecting, I get this error:
There was an error loading the server's info. Error: (mx.rpc.events::FaultEvent)#0 bubbles = false cancelable = true
I have a Flex and Java application and i am using BlazeDS between flex and java. Generally my application works fine. I observed when ever i try fetch data little faster(not giving gap between two fetch commands) then i am getting the error "Server error :faultCode:Channel.Call.Failed faultString:'error' faultDetail:'NetConnection.Call.Failed: HTTP: Failed'"
I guess when ever load is increasing on BlazeDs, i am getting the error. I am calling the java service using following code
I have a single server that runs IIS and FMS, both on port 80. The server has two internal IPs assigned to it, one for IIS and the other for FMS. I also have two static public IPs. My router maps one public IP to IIS' internal IP and likewise for FMS.
IIS works fine. Using an online port scanner, I was able to determine that port 80 is responsive for both public IPs. Before I had configured my Adapter.xml and fms.ini, only IIS' public IP was responsive. This seems to indicate that FMS is fine.
However, when my ActionScript creates a NetConnection and calls connect(), my netStatus callback takes about half a minute to be invoked, and I get "NetConnection.Connect.Failed". Which is not very informative. Is there a way to get more info about the cause of the error?
I have a server with some simple java objects running. I want to build the client with Flex and connect to the server data with BlazeDS. The problem is the Flash Builder is not generating the Classes correctly. Just the properties are being generated, the inheritance are not being generates.
I developed an application using flex+java+blazeds with tomcat that provide flex enviroment.I want to deploy my application using tomcat but I can't, how can I deploy my app?
I have coded my Flex / PHP project in a local machine. I have used AMFphp for remoting and I got to deploy and test this application in a remote server. How could I do this using Flashbuilder 4.5?
i m new for FMS I just wanna make a connection, I put swf file in FMS folder and here my codepackage{ import flash.net.NetConnection; import flash.display.Sprite; importflash.text.TextField; import flash.events.NetStatusEvent;public class main extends Sprite private var
i've just added air-sdk to ubuntu, and adl is working, but when im trying to use adt i have this:Failed to load the AIR RuntimeWhat i can do whit this?I need adt to make native installer from .air file to .dbm"adt -package -target native my-app-name.dbm my-app-name.air "
I am getting "NetConnection.Connect.Failed" error when trying to connect to my FMS 3.5 server from Internet.Things work pretty well when the application is hosted and accessed on my local network. Now when I want to connect my live stream application to Internet it isn't working. Public IP for my server is of type xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx (My machine is mapped to the ip so to connect I need to mention the port as well).I am running IIS and FMS on the same machine. I have changed the default tcp/ip port of iis to 8080 and the ports for FMS are set to 1935,80.I have updated the HTTPPROXY.HOST value in fms.ini to HTTPPROXY.HOST = :8080 (port of IIS)HTTP tunneling and HTTP Proxy are also enabled.
I am looking for libraries or solutions to convert a Microsoft PowerPoint file into a playable Flash file. The constraints are that I must be able to do this from Java, a webapp, that is running on a Linux-based server. I have been scouring Google and have only come up with two options: iSpring SDK -[URL] Option #1 is looking like it will be cost prohibitive based on initial conversations with the vendor (i.e. no price listed on web site). Option #2 seems non-ideal as it will require installing additional dependencies of OpenOffice and X11. This seems like too much overhead for what should be an inline solution.
Everything else I could find was either written only for Microsoft .NET or was just a PowerPoint plugin exporter. Any other solutions out there that are being buried by Google SEO? Can someone, maybe, convince me that the overhead of Option #2 really ain't that bad?
Update: I should clarify that I'm not opposed to reliance on a native library as long as it will compile on CentOS or, preferably, has a yum package available. I should, also, clarify, that I'm not opposed to a "for pay" option within realms of reasonable.
I have seen a few posts on this topic and I have tried wrapping the lc.connect attempt in a try/catch block. My goal is to be able to open my app (a cfm in which swf's communicate w/ each other using localConnection) in multiple browsers without receiving this error.
I am trying to connect to FBJS bridge. It keeps giving me the following error. When I'm opening only one connection and I do not have any other window open.
ArgumentError: Error #2082: Connect failed because the object is already connected.at flash.net::LocalConnection/connect()at BabyVille()[C:Documents and SettingsuserDesktopabyvilleflashMain ProjectsrcBabyVille.as:56]This is my code :
Is there any way to connect Java servlet to FMS?I would like to send comand from servlet via HTTP to FMS?(Something like communication to Flash media server using administration API)The best way for me would be connecting (writing) to SharedObjects, but I would be happy with any connection at all.(I read some about ColdFusion, but there would be too much modification on my servlet.)
I'm having trouble with a XMLSocket script in AS3. I have a java server and i'm trying to send a XML data, but the server isn't recieving anything. The most suprising is that my script worked very well a month ago, and now my IOError listener returns me.[code]
I read through the method to connect to a socket server : [URL]. I wrote an AIR application to connect to the java server code, but the client cannot connect. What is missing in the code?
I was wondering if it was possible to launch a Java server when an SWF is started up. What I want is for a player to be able to "Host" a game from their browser, which will launch a Java server that will run on their computer and allow users to join, similar to what would be done with an out of browser game if a player chose to host a game themselves.I already have the Java server written and interfacing with AS3, it's the automation of the launch process that's got me stumped. Is this possible? If not, how is something similar to this usually done? My main hope is that I wont have to create dedicated servers that users will connect to. Would I have to launch the Java application through the web page?
I created a Flex app in a Windows XP environment using Flex Builder 3.
From the menubar, I selected "Project->Export Build Release" and moved the files from /bin-release onto my local server (WAMP).
I have a PHP file that connects to a db and delivers some data via XML
Everything works right on my computer. Then I tried to move the app to a mac.
I installed MAMP with the default settings (localhost:8888)
I can connect to the PHP file and get the XML by hitting the appropriate URL on @ http://localhost:8888/...
Likewise, I can connect to the html template and the swf executes, but it doesn't seem to be getting the data back, and I don't get any debug info popping up.
Are there security settings enabled by default in Mac OS that would not allow a flex app to request data from a remote resource (i.e. http://localhost:8888/ in this case)?
i am working on a flex+java combined project. My IDE and computer configuration is as follows:
[Code]...
When i make a small change in Flex code (eg, reposition of a button...anything), and run the project on server, it does make any change on output. Actually it depends on my luck... because it makes change in output randomly.what is is happening? tried rebuild, republish, clean , restart server, restarting the IDE, restarting the computer all available feature i could think. Also, i created a simple flex project on IDE and compiled it..... everything is compiled and displayed on output.
With parent artifactId of swf, swc, war set to swf, swc, test respectively. On executing mvn on test folder(for that matter clean or anything) I get this following error.
G:Projects est>mvn -e + Error stacktraces are turned on. [INFO] Scanning for projects... Downloading: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/test/swc/1.0-snapshot/swc-1.0-snapshot.pom
[code]....
Looks like its trying to download the project from maven's central repository instead of building it.
im using FMS4 as origin server and connect to FVSS from CDN, whose FVSS version's FMS3.5. with this all, when it's played with flashplayer from CDN every each connect require just wrote sth in the server log file as below:
Mon 09:51:56 AM: Assert failed in .TCMsgHandler.cpp line 70Mon 09:51:56 AM: Assert failed in .TCMsgHandler.cpp line 70Mon 09:51:56 AM: Assert failed in .TCMsgHandler.cpp line 70Mon 09:51:56 AM: Connect : rtmp://live.mywebsite.com:1935/2011/monitor/
and due to these frequent errors the CDN Edge service would get shuted down. but after i changed the FMS4 into FMS3.5 with origin server everything just worked well. Now my question is, is that a bug with FMS4 or? and what can be done so far if we want to go on use FMS4?
I'm making a program in flash builder 4.5 using WebOrb 4 (which is fantastic, I might add). When I go to deploy, however, it gives me this error:
>There was an error during model deployment for xxxxProgram. > >The server returned the following message: > >Unable to contact the RDS Server "Data Services on Tomcat (localhost)." > >Connection refused: connect > >Do you want to continue launching your Flex application?
I've poked around online for a solution, but for the most part I either don't understand them (forum grammar can be somewhat obtuse) or the answer in the post doesn't apply.
I have some code to scale an image's width according to its height after the image is being loaded. It works fine on my development PC if I point to the wrapper html using local file system path. However, after I deploy the web application to JBoss AS 5.1, it stopped working - it always sets the image width to 0, causing it to disappear.
I have an FMS 3.5 server. It is a new install. No custom configuration. In the core.00.log I have repeated entries stating "Connect failed" such as the following:

I am trying to set up DVR streaming using FLME. I'm following this tutorial: http:[url]........I'm up to Step 2,
I put in the following information into the FLME: FMS URL: rtmp://222.222.222.222/dvrcast_origin Stream: mp4:sample.f4v
Then click 'Connect' , but I get an error "Failure to connect to primary server verify that your server URL and application name are valid and that your internet connection is working and retry". My server is a 32-bit windows 2007 VPS , with FMS running.I don't know if I set up the DVR Cast application correct. All I did was copy the dvrcast_origin into the installationdirectory/applications, then I started a new instance of dvrcast_origin with _definst_...Also, I am running the trial version of FMS, and DVR needs FMIS. Is there a way I can just run FMIS?
I've created a servlet that changes the binaries of a SWF file and output it to the user. The SWF is compressed by ZLIB by default. Then I inflate, change the binaries, deflate and output the result.
Everything was running right on a Windows Server 2008 (also in 2003). Currently, we need change the server to Linux, and then, this servlet is somehow outputing a corrupted SWF File... what could be the problem? What intrigues me more is that there is no difference between the Windows and Linux servlet versions.
Is there any undocumented linux specific behaviour for the java.util.zip package?
