ActionScript 1/2 :: Fade Out Preloader Music As Loading Completes?

I have an external preloader that plays music while the main swf is loading. Everything works fine but it sounds a little abrupt when the music just stops as soon as the swf is loaded. Is there a way to start fading out the music when the progress bar gets to, say, 80%, so that by the time the main swf opens, the music is completely faded out?

Im working on a project where i have to develop an audio application for an android smart phone, but i have to present a mock app so i designed it in flash. I have a rough app where it loads the song, plays, pauses, foward, and previous, but im stuck flash isn't my first language, as you can tell from the attached .as file there are two things i need help in one is: when one clicks the next button the audio clip from the current song should fade out and the next song should fade in while the other song fades out. second thing is i don't know how to get a working seek bar for the player.

My external .swf is playing before it's even finished loading from the COMPLETE event. W
I can understand it might work like streaming an mp3 or something... but it's not like anyone can see the first parts of the loading movie while the preloader does its thing. I also want this to be automatic... so I can avoid having the user click to enter or click to start after the preloader is complete. Lastly, the loading .swf has stop() on frame one...

I just followed Lee Brimelow's 'Preloading in Actionscript 3.0' tut - it was easy to follow and implement. However, when I upload my files to my webserver to test, the .swf that I'm loading begins to play before the preloader completes. Actually, to be precise, the main swf has an audio file in the background that begins before the preloader completes. The stage of the main swf doesn't appear until the preloader completes. Prior to this, I was using a 'scenes' method of preloading, that didn't have this problem, but I kept running into a 1009 error, so thought I'd try a different method...
Here is the actionscript for my preloader:

I coded a dynamic SWF player that loads Movie containing SWFs at random (and that part works fine). But what I dont know how to do, or if it is even possible to do, is to have the next movie SWF load after the first movie SWF is completed playing it's movie all the way through.
I guess what I'm asking is, is there anyway in AS3 to add an Event Listener to the SWF so that is executes the needed function after the movie in the SWF has finished playing??
because I'm not sure how to do this, I have found a workaround by adding a Timer to the functions that actually load (addChild(movie1) the SWFs, the timer counts the exact time it takes the movie in the SWF to finish to then load the nest SWF. The problem with this work around is that if the SWF has a player component and someone actually pauses the movie the Timer will still execute the function in the specified Time given.

I am loading 5 images using "for loop" and I have created the listener and if the images completes the loading, the function is called. Now, I need is the name of the "image" which is loaded on each five images gets completed.

This is a real general question but I'll explain what I'm trying to ask for.I'm trying to make a button that when you press it, you continue on to the next "scene." I know how to do that now.I also want music to play when clicking the button but the issue remains, how will the music keep up if the user is pressing it too soon? I don't want it to end abruptly so I need a code that fades the music out (or in).

The thing is a kind of photogallery ( i know that there already are a lot of gallery, but i wanted to make one myself...). I want to let photo's to fade in and to resize when loaded en to fade out when loading another one... fading in and resizing isn't to difficult... but sometimes it won't fade in and won't resize... i really don't get it. This only happens 1 out of 10 times. But when i try to intergrate the fade out it goes wrong 50% of the time.

I have a video and background music in one flash file. I need the background music to fade out when the video is playing, and fade back in when the video is paused. Everything works fine until the Music On/Off button is inserted.If you try out the attached FLA, the background music is able to fade out when the video is played and fade in when the video is paused. But once you toggle the Music On/Off button, the background music fade in/fade out doesn't work anymore.

this is how i attached the sound in the main swf, im using AS2

I used the loader and the progress bar components.
The loader loads the main swf fine but the music doesnt play like this.
if I preview the main swf the music plays but with the loader it doesnt.
my first attempt worked with the preloader but by inserting the mp3 straight in the timeline.. I cant use it like this because I also need a mute button and I didnt find a solution.

I'm over here putting together a tweened preloader that runs in time with bytes loaded. I'm just wondering how I could make the preloader movieclip fade out when the tween is finished and then advance the playhead when the alpha reaches 0. I have a game that has different music files for different levels. It doesn't make sense to load the music for level 2 in frame one and I don't want to load the music for level 3 until level 2 has commenced. Is there anyway to control how the music is loaded? The music is in the library.

I'm trying to load music into a another file using the loadMovie method. This is my script:

As you can see, first I created an empty clip. Next step was to create a variable named "audioStatus" to know if the button has been pressed or not. It seems I'm doing something wrong because the movie is not loading the music and it-s not detecting my var.

Basically I have a remote with forward, play, stop, and rewind. There are 5 songs. The mc, called player is within the main timeline. First thing I want it is to load the nomusic animation... which is a mc within the player mc. then when the music loads it'll play the workign animation when the song loads.also i'm trying to avoid going to different keyframes and states. so when song 1 is played, and if the forward button is pressed i want it to go the next song. etc...

I've been messing with this for almost six hours now and am at the end of my wits. I need a flash mp3 player that follows the following guidelines:
*all encased within its own movie clip
*loads four different songs, one after the other (event)
*each song displays its own loader
*user scrolls through song selection and plays available (loaded) ones
*first song plays when loaded and continues to the others
any tips on where to go with this? do I create four different sound objects since later songs are loading while the first are playing?

I would like to load jpegs externally and have them fade in with a simple preload bar at the bottom. When the forward button is pressed I would like the image to fade out and the next image to fade in. When the back button is pressed I would like the image to fade out and fade in the previous jpeg. I'm working on an animation where I have my "dog" fighting the evil vacuum cleaner. I got most of it to work the way I want it to.
1) I have movie clips entitled pepper_mc (where my dog is supposed to be walking), swirl (where a swirly-type symbol is supposed to spin over the dead vacuum's head), and vacuum_mc (where the evil vacuum is supposed to have a swinging arm (called vacuumarm_mc) that I created using the bone tool). When I add them to the stage and test them, the animations within the movie clips don't happen.
2) I have background music that I'd like to stop playing at the end of the animation, but I'm not sure how to do that. (using the stop(); actionscript doesn't help).Where am I going wrong? I'm using Flash Pro CS5.
