ActionScript 2.0 :: CS3 Sending The Data Of Dynamically Created Input Textfield To PHP

We have a for loop creating text fields from arrays.
We have four arrays.
First three arrays create dynamic textfields getting their data values from a xml file.
The last array creates empty input textfields where the user enters the data.
What I'm trying to do is to send the values of these textfields to a PHP file.
The problem here is that I'm not being able to get the updated data of dynamically created input fields,which is the data that the user(visitor) enters.
P.S. : I'm using flash CS4 with action script 2.

I've got a textfield for the user to enter their name and I want to take the users name and sent it to my server so that at the end of the game I can call the name back. (And show the user their time)The problem is that I've never done this before and haven't a clue what I need to do. I've tried creating a php doc and saved some code in that and put it in the root folder on my website but nothing :I've also had a good look at every tutorial I can find on this but they all seem to not explain the php doc very well.

I have created the MainMovieClip and Scrollbar as follow ....
my problem is that when I input japanese characters,the characters display at the top corner of the swf until I confirm the input. if I install FlashPlayer "flashplayer10_1_rc2_plugin_041910", then the japanese characters display in the textfield normally....why is that???
with flash player 10.0, I can't input the japanese characters in the textfield.

The following for loop dynamically creates 4 instances of the same button. Each button is then populated with its own textfield.I have given the textfield(s) an instance name of option0, option1,etc, etc. I want to populate the text in each field with something different (Home, Contact, etc, etc). I am trying to call the textField by its created instance name "option0", but I get an error saying it's not recognized.

i can create a textfield, show my percentage loaded in it, but when it hits 100%, i want to get rid of the textfield... doing all my stuff in actionscript so moving to the next frame not a possibility. unless i create the textfield in another movie..

I want to rotate a dynamically created textfield, i opened "flash help" and took the sample code i found below (i changed the font with "Verdana"). But it seems that the font cant be embed and it dissapears.

I have a textfield problem. I created a textfield (for input) and wanted to make some calculations using entered numbers. But it recognizes the inputs as a string. For example;

i'm creating a completely dynamic form. i want to assign a variable name to a textfield and then pass that variable with a LoadVars() object.
here's a small piece of code i can't get working:

I have an input text field, with only one character and aligned to left, where i put information dynamically. If i put the character from actionscript, it doesn't align as it should. If i manually enter a character then it aligns well. After i manually added the character, if i try to add it from actionscript too, it aligns correctly. The font i use is created by me, and all the letters are aligned the same way. I embedded the font.

How do I attach data to a movie clip that is generated dynamically?

I'm loading a XML to Dynamic Text field and all is OK, but the SWF is show at left out site of the flash document, I only want put a icon and a text in the same line, something like this:

I'm dynamically creating movieclips with dynamically created movieclips inside them and am having trouble with targeting them.Below is a simplified example of what I'm trying to achieve, in the real file there are a lot more movieclips and I'm creating and naming them with a for loop.
This one is just one Sprite created inside another sprite. I can target the top level sprite named "testname". However when i try target the nested MC it throws an error.The bottom couple of traces are just test MCs I've made to make sure i got the syntax right, on targeting nested movieclips.

Essentially, I've got a MC container that's created dynamically based off an XML file (basically for every <title></title> I've got, it makes a new "card"). Now within the context of each <title></title> grouping I've got <imgs></imgs> in which I specify the path to images that are related.All of that works perfectly, save for the external jpg files actually appearing on the stage. The MC I add them to does, but the external image doesn't.My problem is- I can't add the external images until they're completely loaded (or so it appears). The thumbnail BG I use is blank. So I know for a fact that the thumbnail BG isn't occluding the loaded thumbnails.

I will be creating a program to use for data entry. I'll be studying zebras in kenya and I won't have the internet there as I'm recording the data. I'd like to be able to send the data I generate in flash to an external text file. I understand I need some sort of script to do that, but is this something I can run just on my machine? (I'll probably make the data into xml format).

I am slugging through the processing of data posted from an Flash based form. I have a dev server that uses php to process input. The php script produces the following test php file variable array:

What do all the variables sent to the server mean in this context? And, is there a tutorial focusing on form handling with Actionscript 3.0?

I have created a flash game. When you are finished playing we would like to invite the user to share the site with a friend. We have designed an email that should be sent to the email address entered on the site. I searched the forums but could not find what I am looking for. I don't want to send a message from a Flash text Field or input form, I want to send a custom email to the the entered email address.

How can I send a combo box'es labels to a text box? I would just like it to display whatever the user picked in a text box. I tried using a listener:
objComboListener = new Object();
objComboListener.change = function(eventObj){
mon.text = eventObj.target.value;
} mon_cb.addEventListener("change", objComboListener);
mon.text is the textbox, mon_cb is the combo box.
There are two problems with the above code though:
A. It displays my data, and not the labels.
B. It only displays the first selection. E.g.; if I choose something, it will display that thing, but if I choose another choice, it continues to display the first selection.

I have an input box with a variable name. When the user enters some text and presses a button that variable is sent to a php file using the GET method. Then the info is put into a database. When I checked my database, I found that a load of styling html tags has been included. I want for my input text box to have styled text, but I don't want that styling /html tags to be sent to the php file. I know I could use strip_tags in php to get rid of the html tags, but surely there's a way of not sending the tags at all, just the text content of my variable?

I will try to keep this as precise and to the point as possible as not to waste anyone's precious time.
My problem here is that I have made a website on AS3, and it required a dynamically loaded XML gallery. All that is done and everything is working perfectly except one requirment
The website has a submenu and that submenu should send XML commands to the loaded swf.
ok now you can see that the thumbnails are links to the images or subcategories...
but if you look at those labels of the buttons you will see thats they are same as the sub menus.
So basically what I need is that sub menu buttons should bring the corresponding galleries just like the gallery buttons..
I tried to do it but loading in the gallery and keeping it invisible and then trying to figure out how to pass the same AS command as the buttons and I have been unsuccesful.
I am adding the galleryclass.AS file.
